+Maireid Sullivan This state air brushed Cumann na mBan from the rising and the war of independence.
My Great Grandmother was a in Cumann na mBan and was treated dismally by this state. This state does not and will never speak on behalf of the movement. It is merely a stepping stone to freedom and along that way it will be known the true roll of Cumann na mBan, these women suffered just as much as the men and fought as bravely.
