I hope you guys enjoyed this little "extra content" test today! Worry not, 90% of videos will still be Kevin as your regular host. Likewise, in the future I will be interrupting Angus more often to add tech advice and such since that's what you guys came here for! For now we are open to ideas for changes and additions, so let us know if you have suggestions, and be nice to the guy!
I throughly enjoyed this Angus fits right in with you guys, if you or mook have time in the future Kevin there’s an old f-250 or f-350 dually a few mins away from my house that’s been parked for over 20 years I can send you pics and more info when I have some more time
Do a side by Side video. Kevin trying to get some hunk of rust -vs- Angus trying to get some shining example of a turd running and see who looses 2nd.
@@SHOdown13 they did that already, in the dualing dodge revival
All I know is that this thing is absolutely my dream truck.. slap a diesel in that pig 😍😍
Let him know that the old Mopar stuff has left hand thread lug nuts on the passenger side...
Good to see Angus again, I enjoyed him a lot in previous episodes, and he absolutely nailed it! Great pilot episode to his own spin off 👌🏼
Yeah I liked Angus when he put in some appearences sometime ago. And I liked the way KB suckered us into another RAYCON hit via the Jeep.Nice.
“This outfit isn’t quite right”
*everyone watching* “THE COVERALLS”
I had the same clothing when I was in tech
I'm so glad you've brought Angus onto the channel as your co-host! He's great to watch - so confident on camera, really quirky personality, really easy to listen too and very enjoyable to watch.
Exciting times Kevin!
One good thing about this episode was that we got to see quite an extended driving session with the vehicle - something that doesn't happen on most vehicles here. Obviously some vehicles are not appropriate for that, but still - nice to see.
I really liked that too, especially the running commentary on the looks pedestrians were giving him 😂
Made me car sick.
I'm in. Angus comes across as more of a regular backyard mechanic like I imagine most of the viewers. Keep it coming!
Then he should start his own channel
@@daves_not_here_mannn 😄😄😄
@@daves_not_here_mannn haha I was thinking the same thing.
@@InRustWeTrustcustoms yea im not a fan of angus or guest hosts on any show really. I want to see the usual familiar faces because theyre a big reason i keep coming back. I dont care for angus but if others do he should do his own thing and let JYD be what it was. I really enjoy the couples type thing kevin and mook do, they are fun to watch but angus....no lol
@@daves_not_here_mannn here here. Its junk yard digs not power nation lol.
I already knew and liked Angus, so the familiarity with him made the transition easy. His humor and personality make the video fun to watch, and the only improvement I'd like to see would be issues around filming quality. These will get better in time as this was a first effort, I'm sure. I hope to see more videos if this new collaboration continues!
Angus is the perfect addition. Same vibes. Super knowledgeable. And has the same comedic relief. Excellent work JYD crew!!
"What a nice vehicle-ish!"
Angus did a great job! Looking forward to more content like this!
Man that's some special brand of guts to drive that through a big city on high idle and about a third of a single circuit brake system! Keep at it, I'm glad as heck to see Angus back on the tube.
I'd love to see more Angus and the rest of your friends. It's always a ton of fun.
Angus, I've missed you. He definitely has the knowledge and personality to produce great content. All he needs is more camera time and experience.
IT’S WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT KEVIN!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Finally made the leap eh? Remember the first one is never gonna be the exact way you want but yall can work together on it and get it dialed in
🤣 those talking clips over each other just while it was getting dark😂
That was awesome. I Definitely would like to see more of this D200. I'm a Mopar guy and had several leaning tower of power 6s. Keep up the good work Angus.
Angus nailed it! More rehab content would be good. Two things about old Mopars are slant sixes have solid lifters that clatter especially if out of adjustment and the lug nuts on one side have left hand threads. I found out about the left hand thread after breaking three lug nut studs on my best friends parents station wagon.
Everything about this video was 100% relatable to anyone who has ever wrenched on an old piece of equipment. I liked the look of fear/excitement/doubt/joy on Angus’ face as he drove a clapped out truck with questionable EVERYTHING (including choices) thru a major city during rush hour! Keep doing what you’re doing JYD crew!!!
I second that
I knew that feeling when I tried to road test my 55 GMC Truck for the 1st time. The Hydro transmission only works in 1st, 2nd and reverse gear. Nothing electrical works, it hasn't been on the road since April 1991!
ha that "move the ISO down to auto" then instantly better lighting clip was funny, I like this dude he explains everything he does, Id happily watch more with him
Angus did a great job I’m looking forward to seeing some more work on the old D200
Great content. Love how it was not an easy one cause it shows ya'll are real people who don't know everything - yet do you know a lot!!! Tks for the fun.
Angus was cool, honestly the best co host you’ve had (except for the ones that also have successful CZcams channels) I’m a fan of anything that really helps lower your stress. People underestimate the degree of difficulty in producing a video a week.
Well said, and I really agree with it. He’s got a very low key vibe and slight awkwardness that is charming and comfortable. I like the two of Kevin and Angus together, and I like angus by himself. If it helps Kevin keep the work load manageable, it’s great. Don’t want burnout to kill his mojo. It really ISN’T appreciated just how much work this stuff is. 😊👍👍
Definitely liked the format. Dont care for burnout rigs, I prefer a true revival and drive it home kinda video. I'll support this!
Great job Angus! Feels like such an honest and transparent video! Keep them coming!
That old Dodge looks like an ancient surplus USFS vehicle. It's very similar in vintage to the first USFS pickup assigned to me when I first started working for the forest service, good memories. The color is the first giveaway.
Starting to think this ol Dodge needs to be named “Rudolf” for that always lit bulb in the middle of the grille. Just in time for the up coming holidays! 😉
Aside from that, great format and overall video. My only complaint is that I wish Angus figured out the auto iso setting on the camera earlier. 🤣
Daytime running light, which should help with insurance……..
Dammit you beat me to it! Definitely needs to be called Rudolf! Did they even mention the light in the front and what it was for? I may have nodded off a couple times. I woke up in the middle of the night and started watching.
he totally needs to put a red bulb in that thing!
@@rocktoonzz thats illegal aint it
@@jdlawless_fuel1416 hopefully not
Ignore the haters, Junkyard Beef will be a great host.
Junkyard Beef. That needs to be a thing.
Alternatively, Junkyard Wacker.... But, yes, it's a success.
@@subxero_x it is. It’s called raccoon, rat and possum.
@@windfurygoburr I meant for Angus's name-
Junkyard Beef! I like it! Heck I still don't know what Mook's real first name is.
Love this. So weird seeing him drive on roads I’ve likely traveled through. You, Angus, and Mook are so humble and down-to-earth. This was when I met you on the QA1 cruise when you were just about to leave.
Great content! Congrats on this move. Looking forward to future uploads.
53:24 my thoughts exactly. It's not easy being in front of the camera and I thought Angus did a bloody good job considering it was his first solo video. Thanks JYD Team!
All for Angus being a new host. The guys hecking insane, and I love every second of it!
I liek your PFP of Calli
Calli pfp, good
i sub to Kevin JYD not this guy who ever he is. why push him on us. i will pass on content by him.
Vary good stuff Angus 👏 👌 thank you for sharing 👍👍. And yes would love to see moore.
Angus was great! I hope he continues his witty and unique revivals.
I like angus would be glad to see more of him and more revivals. You telling him about the ISO at the end got me.
I'm not a fan of the new host would rather have Kevin
i only sub because of Kevin if this yo yo wants a channel go start his own. There are many revival creators out there and i like Kevin not this knuckle head.
What happen to the car community it used to be so friendly now your making fun of someone for the way they were raised and its better to be a knuckle head then a jealous loser who can't get up of a coach and make his open CZcams channel if he's mad at this oh wait you cant because you don't have the courage or commitment lol
@@opossom1968 why so angry at the guy? He's just doing what Kevin is, except he isn't kevin.
Immediate feedback: Angus NAILED this video. The intro was awesome and his humor is keeping me smiling from ear to ear lol
Agreed, he is a gem. Perfect blend of Kevin and Mook
OMG Kevin now I’m laughing because I got to the end of the episode and you are like “He hecking NAILED it.” I totally did not watch until the end when I made the above comment and when those words came out I was like “Called it!!!!” 😂
@@svalenti94 💯 I freaking loved this video
i like Kevin's and mook's content that is why i sub years ago. if i want i can go watch others but i like Kevins content if this yo yo wants a you tube channel go make his own. i could only watch 5 min then gone. this is not Kevin its just some one trying to take over the content and its wrong to give him the channel. like i said i watch for Kevin not others, if i wanted to just watch revivals from just anyone i would. i will pass on all the content not Kevin or mook. simple. if people like him then he can start his own channel not MOOCH off Kevin and his audience.
This. I absolutely love Angus and having him on the channel in anyway way is always awesome. Having him help grow the channel is also fucking awesome.
I love how Angus said I'm going to go straight for violence at 15:38
Keep em coming Angus. Joy to watch. Great video!
I love it!!! It's clear he needs to get the hang of filming. Angus did great, respect to him!! Btw I love his humor!! Thank you all for being yourself. Hate when people do their best to be what the viewer wants them to be.
Angus is a gracious and humble host. He has an awesome sense of humor and his knowledge base and technical skills will continue to expand and grow as he does more revivals. It does take a stainless steel set of cojones to get behind the camera for the first time and do what he did. Kudos to Kevin and Mook for the decision to include Angus and extra kudos to Angus for accepting the challenge. Job well done!
Nice one Kev, Always enjoyed your channel down here in NZ. Angus will be a great addition to the show, great to see you are building on it, Peace
Holy Heck that was an excellent first revival video for you Angus...makes me wish I was part of the JYD family too! You guys are awesome, bring great content, humor and knowledge as well. Keep on keeping on!!!
My absolute favorite part was Angus' commentary while driving in traffic. I've had those same conversations with myself while driving on sketchy trips with questionably safe vehicles. Love it!
Same.
Way to go Angus! I particularly enjoyed you driving a sketchy Dodge through a busy city. Adds a whole new perspective vs. the normal small towns and gravel roads in Iowa.
Great first solo Angus. Very nicely done. Love the Dodge - love to see a follow up with all the improvements/fixes.
@junkyard digs I’m relatively new to your channel, but have been binge watching your episodes. Angus, great job! Love this content.
Engine is a mid to late 70's "super six" unit that has been back converted to a single barrel carb (original in 1965 was a Carter BBS, super six was a Carter BBD, later model BBS on engine now).
That's exactly what I thought also.
Nice to know I might be right on that. Having worked on a few newer ones (I have no idea when they quit using that engine, but the last one I worked on was from the early 80s), he would be far better off if he can get that BBS working right. Those two barrels never worked right for me.
Constructive criticism time: Have Angus buy a light for when he has to film in the dark
The iso setting we missed made it look a lot worse than it was! But it's fixed now
Angus also needs a better mic or better placement or something. He was hard to hear. Beyond that he was enjoyable. I'll watch him again
@@opossom1968 Sorry man look at the comments. I think you have been out voted.
Hey, he had the oil light!
I really enjoyed this episode! Angus is really funny! Hope to see more of him!
I really like the 2 built-in tool benches above each front wheel well!
More Angus! He has his own special charm, and I'm excited to see what he can do with the truck.
Angus is definitely perfect for being another host for jyd. His constant "confused" humor is what made this video work for me lol! Cant wait for more, that's for sure!
true! i was first little confused about angus, what is the video gonna be but his humor makes this so enjoyable, he is great co host :)
Thumbs 👍 up Angus! You did a great job!!! Nice change Kevin. Thanks the introduction and explanation at the start.
Yes! More Angus please!
Been hoping to see more from him, was hoping with you guys, but this is good too!
Heckin nailed it! 10/10 Coda's. Angus has so much personality and is a great fit for this channel.

@@opossom1968 I hope, in time, you're less butt-hurt about Kevin growing his business.
@@opossom1968 kevin isn't giving this guy his channel XDXDXDXD he's ADDING somone TO the channel, kevin will still upload as normal but just like junkyard mook it's extra content.
I said it live after the video ended but I’ll say it again I’d love to see a video of really just advice for anyone who wants to do their own revival videos suggesting things like cameras to use, mics etc; what to ask the previous owner of the vehicle your reviving before setting up and recording
Can do!
As someone who has a project car that I've considered trying to do a video series on, that would be great.
I’ve been wanting to do the same and also seen a few revival quality vehicles on marketplace lately and have been needing a new vehicle too
@@JunkyardDigs i sub to you Kevin not this yo yo... he can start his own channel. i will pass on this content.
Unfortunately if you don't know the kind of info that's pertinent to ask the seller of an old broken down rig, you likely should try a smaller project before trying something like this
This is great. Thank you Kevin and Angus! Keep em coming!
I appreciate anybody that is willing to be brave enough to film them doing something for the free entertainment of other people willing to watch.
This is where you get to know people and also their style of humor ....now that Hollywood is finally dead, we can watch true entertainment in peace.
Respect from South-Africa.
"I'm not sure" but the lug nuts might be left hand thread on the passenger side.
I know they are on the driver's side sometimes, not sure about passenger though! Someone will correct me
Never heard of them on the passenger side, Dodge did it on the drivers side tho…
that's typically done on the driver's side
I’ve had 4 d series trucks, 2 200s and 2 100s and 1 of each was passenger side instead of driver, couldn’t tell you why. All of them were 1969. Very odd.
I have a '68 D100. The lefthand lugs are on the driver's side. There's a letter L imprinted on the face of the lug bolts.
I wait every week and count down the days to watch your content.. I personally think this was a fantastic idea. Angus is hilarious and a great addition to the channel he fits right in with the junk yard family. And I see alot of comments of him being nervous which I mean who wouldn't be.. as time goes by this will be gold. Keep up the good work Kevin, mook, and Angus. 🤘
Good Afternoon Angus, I really enjoyed your video. Well Done for You. What a very Lovely vehicle you are Restoring. You are a very Lovely and Kind person to see on camera. I will be watching more of your videos. Take Great Care of Yourself. Excellent Production Sir. Jonathan.
Hell yeah, why not ! Angus looks like a nice fella, Im looking forward to seeing him more !
Angus is 100% a good fit for this channel and I'm excited to see where Junkyard Beef takes this channel. More content is good for everyone, and more hosts is good for less pressure on Kevin and Mook. It's win/win for everyone.
Great job Angus!

I’m not gunna lie this dude is perfect for a host , honestly love his vibe and just sends it the junkyard way 🤣🤣💯 gotta love it sign this men 💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸
Watching this channel for over a year now, love it love the way it's progressing, and keep it up.. And that is a good looken dodge
Very cool, you did great. Hope there is more to come.
Honestly Angus was awesome! Love the atmosphere he brings with him and I think he did really well for his first time. Looking forward to future videos from him and I really like the 64 f100 he's got! This is honestly one of the best revival channels out there and I like the tech that we learn along the way. Keep up the great work guys!
I laughed when he snapped and had his overalls on, which were in the f100
Angus did a nice job with this. His intro started to almost sound like the old Simpson's "Hi, I'm Troy McClure...you may remember me from such..." which gave me a chuckle. I ain't gonna be mad if he does some content for you all. He seems like a good dude fully capable of bringing some rusty old beaters back around for another turn.
I concur with that recommendation sir.
Hes also scared of spiders, that's always fun to witness.
That was awesome! I always like the three of you working together in any way, shape of form. ❤️
Thanks for your time very nice work looking good 👍👍👍👍😊
I don’t usually comment, just enjoy watching and learning. You and Mook are always entertaining and knowledgeable. Angus is a great addition. I enjoyed the earlier episodes he was involved in. Will only get better with practice. Keep up the amazing content. And tell Angus he’s a rising star.
My first thought was "but we love you Kevin, whos this new guy?" But then "arh yer Angus he's cool." Well done you did a good job and you'll only get better as you relax with the camera and learn what tools to bring to a revival. When you do tell Kevin, he's always forgetting stuff.
I love it. Great addition to the channel!
Great to see Angus back, and hosting now! It was a great start to hopefully many more episodes to come!
For his first time he did great.
He'll definitely grow into a great asset to your team of wonderful hosts/creators/mechanics. cant wait to see what you guys have next in store
First time by him self he did great! A bit more technical would be awesome and I think he will do just fine as he progresses with it. I could come home from a long day at work and listen to y’all crack up working on something, he has a good attitude and great presence on camera. You better keep them coming!
Great job Angus! I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
Awesome episode, please keep Angus around for more! Subtle sarcasm and humor like running up to the truck for the shot is hilarious.
Angus seems to be the perfect addition, really enjoying this vid and his previous additions.
Good to see you guys growing
Angus nailed it! There's a guy from Mandan ND that races dirt track, his main tow rig is a truck just like this with a 12 valve swap. Last year he hauled his, and his brothers imca stock cars all the way to Bristol! They're stock cars are also mopars!
Absolutely awesome. Angus did a great job bouncing between the revival and hosting the show. Look forward to the next episode.
Good Work!!! Cant wait to see more from Angus!!!
Angus did a great job with the revival. His confidence grew as the video progressed and will improve the more he does it.
Loved the addition of Junkyard Beef, he fits right in with all the other craziness!
Thanks for the great content I just recently got a 79 dodge 4x4 had been sitting for 17 years started her and have been working on driving her home a hour away
Great video! Nice job, Angus!
OMG, I gotta watch this one, my dad owned the same style Dodge PU but inn red, he bought it for just a few hundred bucks whenit had 150k miles on it, I was a teen, we used it as a parts runner for the trucking company dad had back then, He had hit 200k and decided to sell it to a neighbor / driver who worked for him for $500. The new owner drove it about 25k more miles and threw a timing chain, replaced it he got the rotor 180 degrees out of time, it would idle but stalled instantly if you touched the gas pedal. He was so frustrated with it he said if someone would give me $100 I'd get rid o my problem. That was the fastest I ever pulled out my wallet ever. It was downhill from his place to my parents so I climbed in and let it roll to my driveway where I reversed all the plug wires which put it back in time. I drove it to about 280k miles as my daily driver, ran into a parked 1972 nova and it was so solid it only bent the grille a little bit and knocked out one headlight, the nova rear bumper ended up in the back glass and the springs were bent to a 90 degrees angle straight up behind the back axle. The 225 slant six and 3 speed auto held up until I blew a heater hose and melted the pistons to the block. It was sold by Mr for $75 with a blown engine. A great truck to run over 50k miles that cost me a whole $25. Good luck, and if that's a 69 with a 225 slant 6 I might be inrerested in it if the price were right. Peace and good luck.
Aw man you drew me right in to the headphones with your story
Just saying, I wouldn't mind watching yall do detail work
I just got my Raycon Everyday buds and I have to say…m a self-admitted AirPods snob but these things rock!!!!
Loved the video, he did good. Would love to see a followup video about that truck to see all that needed to be done to get it back on the road for someone if he plans on selling it. Keep up the great work, love the channel.
Good job you guys I enjoyed every minute of it

Awesome job, Angus and keep up the good work man.
Nice’ Very good for a first video, there’s a lot of mechanics out there (not as many as there used to be, I’m sure) but those that are charismatic, can film and educate/ describe in a fun and watchable way as they work narrows the pool greatly.
I like this dude. He doesn’t try to explain stuff he doesn’t know anything about like Kevin.
Good job, Angus. Hope to see more of the old Dodge.
Hi guys! New to the channel, and I think Angus did a great job. I really enjoyed the content there and the rest of your channel too! Keep up the good work, I *love* seeing old cars brought back to life.
Angus is my greatest source of serotonin on CZcams right now!
