- You all called it. This movie is a disaster of an adaptation, one so bad that it ruins later continuity in the series.

The part that pisses me off about this movie the most is how badly it fucked up the mc's personality. Artemis in the books was a villain protagonist, who slowly redeems and becomes a better person over the course of the series. In this version, he's just a boy with the personality of a phone case. Seriously, when is Hollywood gonna learn that people actually _like_ villain protagonists, even in movies aimed at kids and teens?
One of the biggest hits of Last year was a rated R movie starring a villain protagonist
@@jakegraham3758 True, but I'm more talking about book/manga adaptions, especially ones aimed at teens and kids. Outside of this, they pulled the same thing with Light Yagami in the Netflix's Death Note movie.
I want to give the books a chance. Is Artemis a complete butthole? I can't remember why I put the graphic novel down but maybe the protagonist reminds me too much of Damien Wayne-not a fan of his.
sorcerers apprentice fair enough, there’s a whole lot more wrong with that movie that the change of light tho. Mainly all the Asian characters being white people
@@jakegraham3758 Agreed there. I still hate how they white washed Light. The fact the actor who plays him in that movie is so terrible is like salt in the wound. I still think they should've either stayed faithful to the original (and casted Asian actors for the main roles and had it set in fucking Japan) or made it a spin off to the original with new characters and story.
Fun Fact the kid playing Artemis....this is his first acting job. I sincerely feel bad for him.
Aww damn. Hope nobody picks on him for this
That's gotta suck for him. I really hope this just get forgotten and doesn't bite him in the ass
Please don't let it end like Jake Lloyd.
Honestly, I think he does look the part and probably would be a great Artemis Fowl. Unfortunately the issues of this movie come from the writing and directing which has nothing to do with him.
@@KevinACarroll1996 exactly. I really hope people are more knowledgeable enough to realize he acted as well as he could (it could have been better, however he's young and debut) considering the shitty script. It's like they didn't even read the fucking book.
The fact that they just call butler Dom is bullshit. Domovoi is his first name but he was trained to never tell his boss that to keep professional distance. It's a big deal when arty finally gets told it.
Yes! Thank you! He revealed it when he thought he was dying, didn't he? The writers of this film just trashed every reason the series was built the way it was. Ouch
I know! Logically speaking, they probably would have all died in book four if he didn’t get his memory back because of that.
Exactly! The movie took it upon themselves to change everything for the sake of changing it, and it took away all the value of those little details in the book that they clearly never understood! I think they wanted make it more child friendly with Butler being a friend more than an employee from the start and Artemis not referring to an adult by his last name, but in the book he was both, and it worked really well.
RIGHT!? Like, Butler literally wouldn't reveal his full name to Artemis until he was on the brink of *death.* I'm disgusted.
What I found more jarring was how in the narration, Mulch specifically says that you can't refer to him as 'the Butler', like, what? I could understand (as much as I'd dislike it) if they wanted to use his regular name for the movie, but why specifically mention that? It just seemed so out of left field...
No, no, that’s too good for this movie. Artemis Fowl is the new The Last Airbender.
Oh god I've been watching videos to see if I should watch it and if it's _that_ bad.....
I will go the new Dragon Ball evolution but the last air bender will always be the worst movie ever
so Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters bad instead of Percy Jackson and the lightning thief?
Oh my god, -no-
I’d say it’s a close second to last air bender. I think it’s impossible to be worst than that
5:40 In the 3rd book, we learn that Butler's full name is Domovoi Butler. I have no idea why they brought it up in the movie at all.
Because they were determined to ruin as many character arcs as they could in the span of an hour and a half presumably
I was about to go watch your review
The movie covers books 1-3😅😶yeah they mashed it all in one movie
@@gracekim25 oh, so just like the Guardians of Ga'Hoole movie...sigh
Because the movie appears to be an adaptation of the entire series.

Holy crap you're right!

If that's the case, he needs to blast Motorhead or Judas Priest before class starts
I’ve always been a bit jealous of him, I can’t stand having long hair (it’s thick to a ridiculous degree and a bit curly) but always wanted long hair.
@@anthonyparker2674 My hair curls up too tight and gets frizzy as hell sometimes. I feel ya.
Not an Artemis Fowl fan but I am a PJ fan. Sucks that another franchise has suffered this fate.
As a huge Percy Jackson fan, I wouldn’t wish that treatment on any adaptation. At least we’re getting a Disney Plus series with Riordan’s involvement now
Artemis Fowl is in a class all by itself. Much like Percy Jackson. Stating that one is the new version of the other rather detracts from both franchises, as they each have so much to offer, without one outright replacing or overtaking the other.
John Green I’m not comparing the two. The only thing they have in common is terrible adaptations that disrespect the source material.
It's worse. Just tried watching it but left after a half hour. At least Lightning Thief and Sea of Monsters were recognisable, horrible as they were. This...this is closer to -- but still worse than -- Netflix's Death Note!
Literally everything is wrong. All the names, references, events, characters, everything they took from the books they changed. Even the plot isn't from the books!
Jordan Nino Sorry, I meant that more as a statement towards the title of the video. Didn’t realise he was comparing the adaptations, not the books themselves.
So many things - that yes, as you predicted - do have me screaming in rage:
Artemis and Holly were not friends after the first book! He kidnapped her to get the fairy ransom, then outsmarted the LEP - which was the whole point of the bio-bomb element, that he was such a genius he managed to get around even that - and got to keep it, so he could restore his family fortune! He was very much fully aware of his family's criminal legacy, hence why he chose KIDNAP as a method to restore it!
His mother was very much alive, but horribly ill, having fallen apart after his father disappeared, and it was a driving motivation, and humanization for Artemis to try to cure her throughout the first few books! His father was not some altruistic, secret-world communicating hero, he was the head of a criminal empire, who went missing, presumed dead after the Russian Mafia sank his ship for getting in on their territory, and rescuing him from said Russian Mafia was the entire point of the second book!
And changing Butler's name to Dom? I have to presume that's a shortening of Butler's real first name, Domovoi, which it is A VERY SPECIFIC POINT in the books that Artemis does not know, in the name of maintaining an professional relationship, which he only tells Artemis WHEN HE THINKS HE IS ABOUT TO DIE, and in later books serves as an indicator to his sister Juliet that he is in great danger, as Artemis wouldn't know his name otherwise! Also, he's meant to be Eurasian, not Black, but that's more of a change that is pointless rather than one that is a detriment.
Also, making Root a woman? It was a specific element of Holly's character that she was the first female LEP officer, and part of the dynamic between her and Root, a gruff, surly, older officer, that he was especially hard on her because she had to succeed as an exemplar. But Root's a woman? Well, that goes out the window!
They weren't even really freinds until the end of the second book. And it was done so well too
What the actual fuck did they do to Artemis Fowl? Did they even READ THE FUCKING BOOK?!?!!?
I suppose they didn't want to spend the whole movie addressing a black man as butler. would probably upset a certain crowd of overly sensitive people.
Gmoney 12 Because the original Butler looked too white 💁♂️?
@Gmoney 12because then they wouldn't have had a single black character in the entire movie, could you imagine. a modern movie without at least one token. that would have set twitter off for sure.
Wait his mother is dead ???? SHE LITERALLY IS IN ALL THE BOOKS AND THERE ARE 7 OF THEM WTF ???
Eight. Not counting the new spinoff book.
Kougz They just cannot leave the dead mother troupe alone. What did she have ? The common MotherMustDie disease?
@Jana indeed, this film gutted the possibility for any plot points from any of the other books. It's not the same story at all, in fact, I accuse them of plagiarizing AF for their own story! Teft, that is what it felt like while i was watching it
@Lion Licks YES ! It's the 6th book !
It's Disney, they have a fetish for dead mothers.
The big shame is that AF1 is literally perfect for a film adaption. It's basically one long hostage film with a couple of neat easy action scenes. One of the only things that would need changing is having Artemis voice his thought process at someone (either butler would do)
artemis fowl is a heist series, there is no such thing as a hostage movie genre, only a heist genre
Exactly
@@captaincrash9002 You. Look at me. I'm the taxonomist now.
Captain Crash Does it need to fit in a genre?
@@captaincrash9002 I don't pretend to be an expert on film genres but I've definitely seen films where the centrepiece is about someone being kidnapped and held to ransom. My point is that it should be good for a film adaptation and I'm baffled at the need to transform it so substantially.
"Dominic noble is going to have fun with this" - Dominic Noble uploads a new video 3 minutes before Krimson uploads this one xD
I came here from that video lol
"Dom" is his real name, Domovoi Butler, but his first name is a important secret to him and he only revealed it to artemis when he thought he would die in the 4th book I think.
@@settheshallow8913 3rd actually. It's used to restore his memory in the 4th.

Oh they did my boy dirty. They did him dirty.
Forever friends...man it took, what? 4 books to get to the point they were even considered friends. First it was mild sympathy, then mild tolerance and that grew through many trials and tribulations into a legitimate partnership
@cak01vej two cause of her finger but he was still could and calculating
"Get the four leaf clover out of here" I haven't seen the movie so I thought that there was an actual clover.
There’s alternative swearing words in the fairy culture
i thought it was an actual clover
eddy zagan no not an actual clover
It's revealed early in the 3rd book that Butler's first name is something that can be shortened into "Dom", and it's one of the best and most emotionally impactful scenes in the entire series. Having this name be revealed in the first movie strips the scene of all of its power and is one of the greatest insults towards the books and their author. I knew this was bad, but this just boiled my blood.
Regarding Dame Dench in the role she was given: It's been years that I read the book, but wasn't the fact that Holly was a female officer that had to prove herself a big part of her character motivation?
Between this and Cats, I wonder what kind of blackmail Dame Dench's agent has on her
YES and it pissed me off that they changed that, it was the motivation of her character.
@cak01vej It would have worked fine, almost maybe even better for the modern day if they just made that Root's backstory and Holly one of the first generation of female recruits so Dame Root was an absolute hardass on her because Holly and her handful (instead of almost 50/50 judging by most scenes) of other female recruits have to prove they're just as tough and Root herself wasn't an exception.
They couldn't call him Butler because it would highlight the fact that they made the family that's been servants for centuries black.
@Chuck Sta. Maria Probably they did auditions and thought he played the role best.
@Ethan Wilde And yet they whitewashed Holly
@@gliscorpropagandaaccount1764 I haven't seen the movie but the graphic novel did that first lol
@@doclinny Still not cool
I wonder who the fuck auditioned then because he was not convincing as Butler at all. In the books he was always described as being super humanly large and like really fucking intimidating. The guy they cast just seemed like a normal guy and he didn't bring anything to the character. Even if they ended up casting someone without the intimidating physical presence he didn't even embody that through his acting. He just didn't look or act badass. And what was up with the dune blue eyes? Why?
The one thing this has over Percy Jackson is the main character's age wasn't changed.
Yeah, at least some of the characters are appropriately cast, even if they're badly written, so we're counting our lucky stars I guess
Ironically, Mulch is basically the most book-accurate character in the movie. Details change, but he's still a thief who ends up betraying the LEP, which is about as much as you can hope for compared to the rest of the movie.
In fact they made him way too immature
I think they did change the age by a couple years, I'm pretty sure he's about 10 in the books, not 12. Haven't read them recently however, so I may be wrong.
C M He’s 12
Also the Butler was supposed to be Eurasian, leaning towards the Asian side because in the series, he disguised himself as an passing Asian officer.
Yeah like russian or UKR aniran or something, but he could fit in ANYWHERE
@@bakeryfiskree5927 I think in the book he was half Irish and Asian, but I could be wrong. I just know that he looks more Asian and his sister looks more European.
@@bakeryfiskree5927 Maybe he's from Kazakhstan or Mongolia, which are both asian countries with Russian influence
TheNovelistWriter the wiki describes him as half Japanese half Russian, but that isn’t supported in the text. The book refers to him as Eurasian, which in an ethnic context refers to the area of Kazakhstan or central Russia
@@stoutyyyy I'm a little lost now. Doesn't Eurasian means someone that is half European and Asian, though?
So the only movie adaptation this year that treated the franchise with respect was Sonic the Hedgehog?
The real tea
Yeah, apparently. And the studio that fixed the Sonic the Hedgehog movie got closed down too.
So sad.
What a year, really. You’d think the Sonic movie would be a prime victim for They Just Didn’t Care, but no, they pulled it off well in a way that respected the fans.
The studio actually listened to fans when they hated the trailer. When Disney heard that fans didn't like the AF trailer, they ended up making it worse.
"Oh, they don't like the things the trailer changes from the book? Let's make even more changes!"
Could you imagine them trying to do the scene with Butler revealing his name.
“With my dying breath I tell you my name, it’s not Dom, it’s Domovoi”
My names not Rich, it’s Richard.

I couldn’t have said it better. Why can’t they just treat the book with respect instead of just a cash cow?
Because treating everything like a cash cow is just the way disney is.
Disney, mate. Disney. It's what they do.
@@bowenorcutt78 Disney... The most laziest company
@@MarkThe_Nerd I'm not sure this is entirely on Disney. Disney themselves don't make movies, they just distribute them. Their subsidiaries are the ones that actually make films.
If they actually respected it, they might have gotten a multi movie money printer instead of this 90 min trash fire.
Well, maybe in 10 years we'll get a really good and faithful Netflix series a la Series of Unfortunate Events. A man can dream
It could happen. It'd make sense in the format of a fantasy/mystery series. All we can do is hope.
I remember reading the books when I was in school so I too hope it happens though the books I remember reading was The Spiral Code and The Opal Deception. The latter of which I got in hardback.
I didn't like Netflixs Unfortunate Events 😣 loved Umbrella Academy tho lol
With Disney? Never.
We're finally getting a faithful Percy Jackson tv series, so I wouldn't say it's impossible
5:30 Apart from the Commander Root genderswap, this might be the worst change in the movie. Spoilers for the later books: Butler's name never was Butler, that's just the name he goes by because he was taught not to get emotionally close to his charge (like a good bodyguard) and not revealing his own name is part of that. In book 3, Butler is dying and his last words to Artemis are "Domovoi, my name is Domovoi", an incredibly emotional scene that highlights the evolving relationship between Artemis and Butler. But nah, fuck it, lets just have him go by his real name from the start of the series
Wasn't Butler just the surname and his real name Domovoi is just one he doesn't say cause of what you said. But yeah I didn't click that now until you reminded me of his proper name, going by Dom instead of Butler off this is not a good adaption XD
@@kokkinosman9 Didn't they even mention in the first Book that his Family's Name is the Origin of the Word Butler?
Fred Johnson that is correct
Oddly enough, Dench was one of the only things I liked about the movie. Her performance made you think wow. She is taking this seriously. She's putting in the effort the producers won't. I know her presence detracted from Holly's book arc but I actually enjoyed everyone else's acting a lot more when they were sharing dialogue with her. I actually really liked her scene with mulch.
Honestly, I knew from the first trailer it was gonna suck, but due to my lack of Disney+, I was never able to confirm it. Thanks for the great content, man. Keep it up!
I could also tell just from trailers that it was gonna suck.
If I recall correctly, Butler's full name is Domovoy Butler (revealed in book 3), so calling him Dom isn't that weird. However it's still a terrible story choice, because Butler and Artemis' relationship in the first book is very much a semi-cordial master-servant dynamic, and calling Butler, you know, Butler, is meant to demonstrate that.
ah so i was remembering that correctly! thanks for the comment!
and it was a whole Thing that Artemis wasn't supposed to know his first name, and his near death scare in book three was what let him know the name.
The reveal of his name at the time it was revealed was SO important, how could they make it a thing in the first movie?!??! This is pain LMAO
@@MadeOfConfusion It was literally a plot point in the Opal Deception. That's what convinces Butler that Artemis' video is telling the truth.
They were also Eurasian in the books, not black. Making an entire family of blacks being servants to a white family by blood comes off as racist, with the way it echoes slavery.

Wow. Saying that Disney butchered the story and characters isn't enough. They took the story, killed it, maimed the body, disposed of it, took the wallet from the pocket of its tailored suit, cut a piece of leather from it, cooked it without seasoning and served it with a smile on their face as if they'd served us a piece of buttery soft kobe beef.
That's awful specific. You okay?
@@vocalcalibration8033 not really *points to movie Artemis* Look at what they did to my boy...

"Artemis Fowl is the new Percy Jackson." *OOOOOOOOOF*
Butler's first name is actually Dom in the books. But according to the books Butlers aren't supposed to let their employers know their first name so they don't get too attached. He ends up telling Artemis his name when he dies in the third book and the name is actually important in some side plots in the later books. Never the less Artemis never calls him Dom. This change seems to be made just to piss off the fans.
His first name is Domovoi/Domovoy, depends on the translation, it can be shortened to Dom though.
Butler's first name is Domovoi, a plot point that is a BIG thing in the third book.
I think the only question I would have is simple. What would people get out of the Disney+ movie if they had no prior experience with the books first, but watched the film instead. Cause the only thing I can think of is basically the next generation Spy-Kids spliced with little bit of Harry Potter.
My thirteen year-old brother said it best:
"Disney got lazy."
I haven't read these books in years but I remember that Artemis finding out Butler's first name (Domovoi, or Dom) was actually a PLOT POINT in a later book. So spoiling that is actually breaking a really heartfelt character moment.
Loved those books as a kid, seeing the trailer just made me want to go and reread the book.
Yea but Percy Jackson is getting a Disney+ series
Crossing my fingers for something good.
@@Debicus Rick Riordan is apparently helping to write it
Jack Lovejoy a good sign.
Jack Lovejoy that’s good

I love how the major theme of this book (Holy overcoming her gender and becoming the first female LEP officer) is just completely abandoned and her boss is now M from James Bond because???????????????????????????????????????
You'd think a theme like that would be perfect for todays age but NOPE GOTTA HAVE MORE WHAMEN IN MAJOR ROLES!
@ShyNerdGirl HoneyFlower I didn't mind any of that
We are going back. How's that people could write strong female characters in past without trying but now, when it's finally being openly appreciated, the ability has been somehow lost?
It reminds me of the portrayal of the Woman in Sherlock TV. Arthur Conan Doyle, a white dude living in XIX/XX Britain, was able to write a more feminist character than whatever Moffat created
Both Irene Adler and Holy were progressive characters. All they had to do was just to copy them and voila! Great representation without trying
Yes, Gender swapping Commander Root is a massive exercise in missing the point and totally sabotages the dynamic between them. How can you have the "is it mysogony or is Root just pushing her to be the best" sub-plot?
I dunno if I would call it the major theme of the book, but it certainly is in regards to Holly and Julius.
5:47 There is a reason for them choosing the name "Dom" but that is something I cannot get into without spoiling parts of the third book.
So, before you read on, spoiler warning:
"Dom" presumably stands for Domovoi which is Butler's first name. Artemis did not know said first name previously as is tradition with the Butler/Fowl relationship. However, relatively early in the third book, Butler is shot whilst protecting Artemis life and the injury is so severe that he believes he will not survive and since at this point he basically sees Artemis as a friend rather than just his principal he feels comfortable telling Artemis his first name before losing consciousness. Artemis eventually manages to save Butlers life through cryogeny whilst provoking LEP to send up an officer who then turns out to be Holly who manages to save Butler, albeit at the cost of ageing him by a few years.
5:30 that just makes me suuuper mad becouse of what happens in a later book,
The Artemis Fowl books were one of my favorites and it's so sad whats been made of them :I
No matter how many times I heard about book movies failing I continue to be shocked about how far they fall flat. Like, you have entire detailed little manuals for you to play with to at least make something that is able to stand on its own and give the fans what they want, yet someone still decides that for some odd reason they _shouldn’t_ try to use this source (a source that is literally loved enough to make making a movie out of it worth it) It’s like hearing about a movie messing up a comic book character, how do fuck up something when you literally have plenty of sources to work with?
Also, if you want something absolutely weird to read/review, check out Tyra Banks’ (yes, *that* Tyra Banks) book Modelland. It’s weird as hell, makes you wonder exactly what age range it’s for (seriously, some of the shit in it is wild) and frankly I don’t really know how describe it. Also it’s fantasy story, but like, with capitalism (and superpowers, superpowers from capitalism?)
If i learned something from your chanel is that nothing can be worst that Theresa Empress, that is my new philosophy of life
Mulch was arrested at the start of the movie by MI6 which is the UK's secret intelligence service, the only indication of this tho is the text that appears in the bottom of the screen to show a new location but it's put on the screen when you are shown those like prison boxes over water so its very easy to miss
Also it's odd to use those text location when they don't even have many locations?
Also why is Mulch telling them this story? The whole point is to keep fairies hidden from the world but he just told MI6 that they do exist???

@@TheDustyForest In an interview he said that he thought it would be difficult to display Artemis's like a James Bond villain unless they made movie displaying how he became that way. Basically his main concern was that Artemis was likable when it should have been whether we can understand where he is coming from.
@@islasullivan3463 Bruh, that is such hot horseshit. @@RambunctiousMouse The Avatar movie whitewashes it's characters and is extremely problematic. The Percy Jackson movies don't follow the plot of the books and have a few sexist and/or racist moments but overall aren't offensive to anyone (except maybe Rick Riordan)
@@dolly8995 I wouldn't call it white washing as they also changed the Fire nation from Japanese looking to Indian looking (for some fucking reason), and all this bs because one of the producers wanted his children into the film.
@@DimoB8 True but they still white washed the other main characters. Aang, Sokka, and Katara all got white washed and by extension, so did people in the water tribe, including the siblings' grandma
The hair... I have such utter respect because of your literary and theatrical knowledge, and now you've added on to that respect with the hair
5:37 - Butler is a surname. His name is Domovoi, but he says it in the third book, when he almost dies
YESSSS! I was waiting for another one of these videos for the longest.
Hope your doing well Krimson and hope to see some new book was better soon. Kickass hair 🤙
Maybe HBO will make an amazingly dark but accurate adaptation like His Dark Materials
Disney would never let this property go, even if they’re mistreating it.
This adaptation just seems like a bad Persona Fanfic.
Persona fan right here!
Krimson watches the Dom/Dominic Noble! Yes! This has made my day! Two of my favourite reviewers!
Artemis Fowl (the book) was actually the first piece of fiction that had me asking "wait, whos the bad guy" and for that it will always have a place in my heart. P.S Butler is a total badass
Oh this makes me wanna cry. Artemis Fowl was one of my favorite book series growing up, so when I heard it was finally getting a movie I was so excited for it. I didnt think 2020 could get any worse...
Butler’s name was revealed in book 3. No clue why they have it shouted so often instead of Butler in the film.
According to comments here, they apparently pulled a Guardians of Ga'Hoole/Legend of the Guardians and adapted the first three books into one film.
galeforce3192 I think both “killing” Butler and revealing his first name were maybe the only things they used from Eternity Code, if I remember correctly.
I remember watching the first trailer for this movie and, while I don't remember exactly, saying "This dumpster fire is gonna be the reason I'm arrested for arson". And I believe I had only read the first book around then.
Now I don't have Disney+ so I can't watch this for myself, but from reading these comments I've noticed two core things that bothered me.
1: They changed Root into a woman. If you've read even the first book alone I'm pretty damn sure you'd understand this problem.
2: Artemis' mom is *dead*? Excuse me Disney did you actually have to out your "mother's should die" thing in this movie? Seriously? She was oh y'know kinda important to the story for a multitude of reasons.
Correct me if I got anything wrong, it's been a little while since I've read the series.
Yes there was plenty of other things I could've talked about, like the whole Butler getting a name change thing and the whitewashing Holly thing, but everyone else has beating that into the ground as it is.
They should have cast the kid from Umbrella Academy. His nuanced acting is pretty spot on.
Haven't seen you in awhile! Hope to see more long form book stuff from you eventually. I'm sure you're still probably recovering from the Teresa incident.
Just filmed a review for Handbook for Mortals, so you'll be getting that sometime later this month!
Yay my favorite CZcamsr reviewing this film
Mulch got kidnapped by the S.C.P
It’s a shame. All this movie did was ensure the Scottish accent’s supremacy over the Irish accent.
I can wait for your in-depth video on this! I glad you can feel our disappointment after knowing what we know 😭
As both an Eragon and Percy Jackson fan, this is sort of thing getting really annoying
4:00 Also the Princess Bride did it because the book that movie is based on had a framing device that can't be satisfiably replicated in movie form (the book is presented like a reconstruction or reinterpretation of a previously existing children's story by Goldman, the author, for his children to read as a bedtime story with comments and footnotes on why he changed or cut certain bits from the original).
There is no reason for there to be a framing device in this movie because the books don't have one either (unless you think Holly telling amnesiac Artemis the story to jog his memory at the end of the last book is the story, but that doesn't really make sense).
I remember reading the first book as a kid, and I remember it being super convoluted. I don't remember the plot at all. The elements you spoke about rang a bell, but why do they always try to adapt super complex fantasy worlds without putting the work and dedication needed behind it?? That's how we ended up with The Hobbit being a total dumpster fire.
You gotta read the third book to understand Butler. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the books man they were my childhood!
I never read Artemis Fowl, but I did read PJO. I know the pain that the Artemis Fowl group is going through right now. I'm with you
After seeing his perfect hair for the umpteenth time, I have to wonder: What would happen if he ever met Decker Shadow and his hair?
Eragon intensifies
It’s worse than Percy Jackson because at least the first PJ movie followed the plot of the first book
Eh...not really. But honestly PJ serviced much more effectively as a film on its own concerning it's plot, character dynamics and motivations than AF did. Everything kinda flipflops everywhere
I really want the Triad livestreams back, miss those they were very cool.
He knows about Dominic Noble, ahhhh....
I wish they could collaborate one day, that would be a dream come true for me
No. No, Krim. I am not screaming. I am cackling wildy and, looking up these writer's addresses with great glee and, revilement intent! "How bout a little fire, ya dumb ho!" GRRR! What the fuck is WRONG with these PEOPLE! GAAAH! A wild Gildy has taken a flying fucking leap off of the ledge of sanity into full blown insanity! they buthered these books!
5:33 I seriously hope this does not mean what I think it means or one of my favorite scenes from the third book is ruined.
If subtitles are on it tells you the name of the mysterious masked figure
Krim’s t-shirt is flawless.
I was going to start watching this after you reviewed it and then you mentioned that one scene and I removed it from my list On Disney + lol
Could you check out the way of the shaman series (love the first book but in the ones thereafter it quickly becomes messy and complicated)
Good to hear from you Krim!
I cannot wait for the next big book review of whatever travesty you can find.
“And if you’ve read the first book I imagine you are currently screaming.”
