When I make spinach appetizers or Baklava roll-ups with the phylo dough I use 4-5 layers of the dough, buttering each one. I think if you had a stack like that then did the filling and rolled it there would be enough layers to keep the filling intact.
Your trees turned out so cute and the snowmen were adorable! Just a tip: When using Phyllo Dough, you need to use several sheets, buttering in between each one. One sheet is just not substantial enough to hold in any kind of filling.

I always love watching your holiday appetizer videos. Phyllo (pronounced felo) dough should’ve been doubled or tripled up if you wanted them to be like crackers… but the cups are so much easier!
Love these ideas! The best thing about them is you can size them down for smaller crowds!

You can also substitute wonton wrappers for the phyllo dough and bake in a muffin pan

These appetizers are wonderful with the exception of the crackers. Let us know if you try them in the phylo cups and how they turned out! Of course my favorites would have to be the charcuterie tree and the snowmen! I hope you and your family have a safe and Merry Christmas!! 😊❤🎁
I made a cranberry brie bites. Last year and then I made it again this year for Christmas but instead of the Philo dough I use crescent rolls dough. That’s what my recipe calls for and it’s pretty easy and everyone just goes crazy for it. You just need a mini muffin pan. If you Google it that recipe will come right up. Maybe someone’s already mentioned this to you. But use everything else the same cranberry, brie and rosemary.

Except for the “crackers”, they turned out so cute and SO SPECIAL for Christmas. I make candy and appreciate the easy way to make the snowmen. I would break the pretzels in half and make more (and smaller) snowmen 👍🏻👍🏻

Well, now I’m hungry. That all looks so good. I would eat the donut holes myself. And I know my grandkids would too. I love cheese balls. My stepmother used to make them all the time. We never got a Christmas tree one. I’m making the same thing I’ve made last two years. It’s just Kind of pasta with sauce for the vegetarians. And pasta with hamburger, and sauce for the carnivores. And for dessert I’m making dirt cake. Which I used to make all the time. And I haven’t made it in a few years. I know my family loves it. My diabetic son in law loves it. But he can’t eat too much. Someday I may try all those recipes. The tree is something the vegetarians would be able to eat. My grandkids can be picky sometimes. But the five and three year old love broccoli. They are vegetarians too.
