I removed all the glass from my 240Z last December. It was a hassle cutting the old rubber seals out to remove the glass. But less unnerving than pushing my Lancia windshield out with my feet, lying on my back inside the car, so as to preserve its original rubber seal ...Good job man!

Glad you’re back at the Z! I’m restoring the same car right now and I’m about at the same stage as you. So please keep it up so I can learn before I screw mine up! Haha

Return of the king. I was worried that something may have happened to you or the car. G to see that's not the case, and welcome back.

I started building my Z around the same time you were making contents and posting of yours, glad to see you are back posting the build again and making progress. I was able to complete mines and got it to drivable state and enjoying it. Keep going you'll get it done soon. Looking forward to more content in the future.

Between the episode & week numbers, & then parts within, it's kinda hard to keep track of the order. I hope you are still plugging away at it, great work so far on bringing the chassis back to life

I’m new to the channel but I love the z cars. And I was wondering is it worth trading vehicles b/c I’ve always wanted a 260 or 280z. I’ve recently found one near me that wanted to trade. Should I do it?

You have had many good comments...they must be from your mates because I am not impressed with your work. I like to see people having a go but there is a limit to what you should & should not do. Who am I to comment? I am a qualified motor mechanic with many years of modifications & restorations under my belt. I also have owned a 72 240Z for over 20 years, that needed all the typical rust repairs when I bought it. When you decided to remove the rear suspension as a unit I really thought I was going to see a death on here. You just need to look carefully & plan properly. Like your damaged finger....when you first placed a piece of metal at an ANGLE against the sanding disc, it was obvious what was going to happen & it did. You have removed everything that is bolted on ,plus lots that are welded on. It looks like you have not marked anything to indicate what it is & where it goes. You have taught yourself to Mig weld on the job but this does not qualify you to but weld pieces together & expect them to stand the test of time. Like the new floor pan that you cut in half. You removed wiring loom holders because there was rust behind them. Does that mean you are going to remove the sill panels & the complete air ducts along the tops of the inner guards? They also rust between the firewall & the plenum chamber, should check that. You have bought a lot of equipment to clean rust, tar & paint off. Maybe you should have just taken the car to be blasted or dipped for possibly less money. If I was in the market for a Z, & yours was for sale I would realize very quickly that was not the car for me. I have seen many amateurs start on lesser jobs than you have started & ending up scrapping the whole thing. Good luck & I hope it turns out good enough to satisfy your expectations. The claw hammer is a nice touch.

He says, right at the start of this episode, that he plans to take the car to get blasted or dipped...
