I’m currently listening to your video through my AirPods Pro 2 with noise cancellation turned on and the DJI lavalier mic is easily the best sounding one. Great video. Straight to the point.
Thank you for putting this together, but I'd strongly suggest a redo test where the lav mic is clipped lower on your shirt (between the top button and the 2nd button down). The way you have it currently it's in a 'shadow zone', where the sound is somewhat attenuated by your chin. The further out the sound goes, the less directional it is, so you're likely to get a very different frequency response with it in the new lowered position.
Great video, I recently got the DJI Mic 2 and I am not impressed with the internal microphone on it. Then, I saw the Lav mic and tried finding a bunch of videos but I only saw a couple, yours being one of them. I ordered the lav mic and it’s supposed to get here Wednesday so I’m really hoping it makes the sound quality a lot better, judging from your video I think it will.
for my purposes i think the powerdewise will suit me just fine, the dji sounds a little nicer but i like the slight bomminess and volume on powerdewise better
This video is perhaps more relevant given you're using the mic 1 than if you were using the mic 2. The mic 1's achilles heal is RF interference, it causes problems for a lot of lav mics. The shure is best in class for this, DJI is a given since it's designed to work with the system, and the powerdewise trails in third but still very acceptable in my opinion. This is from another review I saw that cited proper testing of interference on those mics. Given that issue with the system, anything that works well with the mic 1 will also work well with the mic 2. I also would like to mention post processing - I'm by no means no expert, but I've been doing research, and I have to say given what I've found the shure MVL is best for my use case due to it's low baked in compression. This results in a cleaner result once processing is applied, which from my preliminary testing applying compression and a limiter to a recording of my stage mic, seems to be the way forward for me due to my priority on quality. Great video I dropped a sub :)
I liked the shure better too. I have always been a Shure customer but after reading all the other comments I wonder if I thought it was the best because I knew it was a Shure. Like maybe my subconscious told me to like it 😂 🤷🏽♂️
Hi, to connect old sennheiser lavs with my DJI wireless mics (1st Gen), what adapter do you recommend. There are so many on Amazon and BH, but not sure which one is the correct one, and which one is good. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I agree! I really like how it sounds!
DJI sounded best with PowerDeWise a close second. The Shure sounded very metallic
Thank you great video! 1) PowerDewise, 2) Shure MVL, 3) DJI Mic 2.
The DJI seems to sound the best in this comparison. 👍🏾 Thanks for the tips
the dji lav sound really good it has presence and low end sound very clean ,lets see the other one

Thanks for the suggestion. I will be doing one thing soon including outdoors.
Thank you very much for this clear "competition". That's what i looked for.
You bet!
DJI sounds more natural without the high end of the other two.
Great review! Gotta say it's the DJI mic for me too!
Thanks!

Great. Let me know how it works out for you.

I was using the PowerDewise prior, so makes sense.

Thanks for your thoughts and the sub!
I'm no expert but i liked the Shure lav the best. Seemed a little bit crisper but not much difference between the three tbh.

Just found out the MVL won't work with the DJI 2 unless you get a Trrs to Trs adapter.
Oh! Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
thank you! dii is the winner
the poerdewise sound evn better than the dji , but i rather have the dji #1, and then the powerdwise #2 and then shure #3
Right on!
You will need a Trrs to trs adapter for the Shure Lav mic if you get the DJI Mic 2. The Shure Lav will not work without it.
How come it looks like he is not using one in the vid?
@@ScottyCZcamss beats me
@@itsPhillipStaplesis it cuz he is using dji mic 1? And only mic 2 is Trs?
@@ScottyCZcamssI did a whole video on it. Come check it out
the shure lav is kind of too bright but it does sound good
Why do you need the little adapter? Can they connect into my phone without it?
I have to use it with my phone, so not knowing what phone you have, it is hard to say, but most likely you will need it.
A great review. Thank you!
You bet!
Great video. Does the DJI plug straight into a camera and work wired? I don't want the wireless bluetooth box. Thanks.
I have not tried that so I am not sure

I am not sure as I have not used one. I would read the reviews. Cheers.
DJI sounds the nicest to me. Does it have issues with interference?
I was listening with AirPods Pros with noise cancelation on in an isolated room
I have not had any issues.
Can you remove the clip on the DJI lave? and whats the form factor with the pop cover removed?
Yes you can. It does not seem to be easy to remove the pop cover, I am not going to.
Shure sounded the worst.
Hi. What db parameters have you set up on the transmitter and the receiver? Thanks
I am away. I think the transmitters are set to 9+. I don't remember at the moment what the receiver is set at.
Info : Shure MVL will NOT work with DJI Mic 2 (you need a TRS adapter as Rode SC3) / But great with the mic 1.
Good to know - I have an MVL and am thinking about getting the DJI Mic 2 - thanks for sharing.
Compared to these ones what do you think of the Rode Lavalier II?
I have not used the Rode Lavalier II
Can i use all these mics with sennheiser ew100 g4 for church?
I have not used it, so I am not sure.
en iyi ton shure mikrofonda vardı
why do you keep calling it the D G I
Good question. Ha. Yeah I did.
