    Question for a newbie hand tool woodworker. Around the 10 min mark you checked to make sure all sides were square. How would you have fixed it if it wasn’t?

      Thanks for watching! I didn't show it in the video, but when I'm doing all the joinery I make sure each joint sits square, and then I check for square during the test fit. If I find something off I will adjust the joint. After all that prep, the piece should glue up square, so what you saw me doing is just a final check. If for some reason it was slightly off during glue up I would adjust the tension on the appropriate clamps and maybe tap it slightly with a mallet on the appropriate corner to get it square. Bottom line... You need to make sure all your joints are square long before the glue up.
