@@choicethetaurus This is actually not bad. Thought it was going to be another SoundCloud rapper or Rick Roll
@@choicethetaurus wait this is actually pretty good- one of the few times I don't regret clicking some random link
You got yourself into this, now you have to model all the rest of the characters from Arcane
oh boi
@@yansculpts how did you paint her directly in sculpt mode like that, did you vertex paint or was it an addon or something?
@@grimmcreeper192 Yan just switched to texture paint mode but because of speed it's hardly visible
Reinforcing this comment
@@grimmcreeper192 as he said, texture mode
i was prepared for like a 20 minute speed sculpt with some tips
this guy shat on me with his skills in 1:18 sec flat
Bravo sir
Please tell me you understand the footage is sped up and certain things were cut like retopo.
The "in 1 minute" is the time of the video, not how long it actually takes Yan to sculpt....
this isnt even fair. i just started sculpting a week ago, ur videos give me motivation, thank you! xD
I've been watching your videos since a while ago. And I've finally started sculpting since last week. Awesome works like this really inspired me. Hoping to one day reach at least half of your awesomeness. Thank you for your fantastic work, good sir.
I am stunned by your artistry every time. Keep em coming!
Satisfying, educational and inspiring... 😄
Yan, your sculpts are VERY GOOD!!! I love your tutorials too.
bro just watching your old videos tips and so many inspiring stuff why not new ones I mean so much has changed don't you think those videos deserves a remake ? just a fan off your work and personality you are soo amazing thank you for all the work you put in for us you are helping so many people bro Love ya
Tutorials and tips isn't off the table, i don't have a timetable yet but i do plan to record some in 2021
Yeah yeah that was so simple, I could totally do this in my sleep S/.
Your skills amazing dude!
omg, I love you Yan!
This is your style wow. It's so you. Love the execution!
Dude you make it look so easy! really nice btw
Helpful and inspiring as ever! Keep it up man!
Beautiful! Great work as always man
I was trying to learn how to 3D sculpt and just couldn't get hang of it. Then I watched this video and oh... I'm *supposed* to use my tablet. That uh, makes so much sense.
I tried it with my tablet, but the controls felt weird and I was too scared to try again.
Eh.... depends.
If you are already an artist or have innate talent a tablet is 100% the way to go.
But my mentor and dude who works for Hit The Sticks uses a mouse and 3D mouse, I have no clue how he does it.
@@ZigealFaust What's a 3D mouse?
@@ShinoSarna It's a little analoge stick thing that allows easy navigation in a 3D space. I don't use one but most 3D artist who are mouse/keyboard and not tablet types use em. Frankly, you can achieve the same thing by using a PS4 controller and joy2key and using hotkeys.
@@ZigealFaust Interesting! I think I will stick with my tablet, since it's something I already own and my budget is kind of limited.
Amazing!!You make it look sooo easyyy🥺💥
talent at its finest
Your videos motivate me a lot! I love your style and workflow!
Also, I really wanna know if you're clothes and accesories techinique doesnt cost too much performance with so much faces in the model
Your Jinx model is so good it could pass off as being used for the official show.
Really amazing💖💖💖
I am loving it 😍
cool work here
Your video is working, thank you very much, it took me a minute and a half to create the third season of Arcane, like !!!
Yo I would love to watch a longer version of this o.o
its amazing
You are amazing men !!!
wow loved it amazing...
this is impressing
i will teach you how to fly a plane: go to the cabin, turn on the plane, take the yoke, and fly -.-
just kidding, great vid btw, i enjoyed it a lot! :)
Very cool !
Te quedo hermoso!
Wow...this is epic
Amazing work! ✌🥵
Will need to get your tuts after I get a drawing tablet.
Man, this really looked like a painting... Damn! 😮
Can't wait for the full timelapse of the process
Best 3D artist in the world!

Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel like modeling / sculpting
idol,that so cool
Simply amazing! One day... some day...
This was amazing !! will you upload the longer version soon ?
Looks so smooth and easy ... but it isn't. Fantastic job and proof of how good Blender's sculpting is.
incredible :O
Awesome as always, Im just starting to learn 3D and with Blender you will be one of my big references! BTW I would love to see Jolyne Joestar in this channel! Salut!
Experience 🔥🔥
This video is the definition of easier said than done.
cool, I enjoyed it, cool.
finally! We need more of these 1 minute tutorials for EVERYTHING
niceeee!
This isn't done in under a minute. This is hours of work. I feel bamboozled.
he did it without Ctrl-Z even once amazing.
this jinx looks older than the jinx in the show
those abs my guy...those abss
You know the dril my boi full unedited vídeo😎😎
I'm guessing the full model takes at least *twice* as long to make as their video shows it being. Maybe even three times longer!
yh about that, i was gonna say about 250 times longer but 2 is close enough
@@macaronmunch793 yeah, I could see this taking about 2 hrs
Well the full video is 18 hours so probably more like 1080x longer
@@elicain1514 lmao
This almost makes me want to try this myself. I have Blender, but I only really do Minecraft related stuff with it. Though it’s been a while since I did that though. Though, it’d be cool to sculpt my OCs here
You make it look so easy 😭
you make it look so easy 😅
One minute is too quick! More please!
I tried this, I'm getting fast but you're the true speed runner.
I gotta learn Blender fkkkkkkk this is amzinggg
If riot games followed your tutorials they wouldnt have spend six years for this amazing series))
Amazing as always! Did you UV unwrap the whole thing?
I loveeeee
I so want that file as an obj or stl, cause I want to 3D print it! :D
Hi there. Do you manually retopo every character you sculpt for texture painting or do you use Quad remesher?
I'm also curious to know !
For someone interested in getting into 3d sculpting, trying to learn in one minute doesn't really do it since the brain can only handle so much information in such a very short amount of time. Thus patience is required as well as focus, where one's thoughts and feelings can start to discern, intuit, understand and observe the process. If the video goes too fast, as well as trying to understand goes too fast, then we can say, "Wow, your artistry is so amazing and beautiful, I wish I can do that." But what sometimes happens is that we utterly fail since we cant understand at all, nor recreate the process, since the video goes by so fast that one is left to wonder if we can do this at all.
It's wonderful to know others can do these things, where then getting tips to also know is commendable. But also if folks want to get others to also join in, it must be in a way that the one curious and want to do, also can learn by doing. And it's actually very difficult to do if learning from videos that goes too fast to watch. Of course going too slow is also a burden since if it weren't so, then the process of learning calculus or differential algebra would go a lot more interesting. So editing is the key where then also a new learning process is experienced. This comment isn't to say one's video is bad, it's just to say that a "do something in one minute" is like saying cooking a roast chicken in "10 minutes" where usually the process really takes time. So it's a gimmick or click bait. But one doesn't have to resort to this if the video is already fantastic and worth viewing. It is great, where we also want to do these things also, but if the information to create is hard to understand and learn, then folks are going to get frustrated from the lack of actually creating since the information that one chooses to learn from moves too quickly to comprehend or grasp. This is just a feedback from someone curious to learn, it may seem needy, but it is just an opinion and a reflection who wants to also wants to create. And if it's a concern to myself, it may also be a concern for a minority, or even less than a few.
just pause the video. I understand a lot about it, you can learn some thing with this
@@robenriven Thanks for your advice but have you tried learning while pausing here and there. And how long have you tried learning while pausing here and there. The videos everywhere in CZcams not just here but also miniature painting, oil painting, drawing, clip studio drawing everywhere else, a lot of folks put out videos, would like to have thumbs up, subscriptions and patrionages, etc. Where folks would also would like to thumbs up, subscribe and give something to support content creators, but we also want to learn by doing. Since by creating something, it makes life worth living. So folks watch and want to do the same. Just saying that it gets frustrating when videos goes too fast to follow and it's hard to also concentrate if we have to also go that extra step, like pausing to see what is being pressed, how to extruder, how to Boolean, etc. But then rewind again to then watch over something going too fast to understand.
If you pause while you learn then explain how it is going with your studies when videos that we see goes by too fast to see. It's easy to give advice but do we actually practice what we tell others? We may notice that it gets frustrating in a while if all we do is pause, go back try to understand then do the same thing over and over again, since then it isn't about learning how to do things any longer, but a click here and there kind of thing where it would probably be better off, and worth realky watching at normal speed. Since then so much knowledge can be understood, where then those who do watch can appreciate what is being shown. It's like fine wine, one must savor the taste before drinking. So is watching someone create beautiful works of art, the viewing is in how it's created so that we too can do like the artists does, it's what love is all about, the caring for the viewers, which likewise the viewers pays in like kind in likes, thumbs up, commenting positive and negative, and patrionages.
@@eusebiou-say-bee-oh326 is this some ai writer thing you have going on for these paragraphs?
@@Gemesil Hmm, nope. All me. Never been accustomed to Twitter where it stifles thought to written language by a set number of words. Hated it when phone companies charged for every single letter, during the period of beepers and hated it since when Twitter came along.
To express thoughts and feelings, where folks and individuals can intuit and comprehend, rather than guess or make irrational assumptions, expressions in written language is required where paragraphs can be written in God's form. This way, folks and individuals can understand without immediately being pushed towards angst, indifference, apathy or division.
The only time the A.I. or the algorithm interferes or censors my writings is when I speak about Billy Eduard Albert Meier and a few websites that speak truthfully about him. But other than that, I say it's peachy 😊👍
@@eusebiou-say-bee-oh326 ok

lucky luke there !!
Bro I wish this guy made suggestions 😭😭😭 I have character models I want to make in blender but the process of sculpting them takes too much time which I don’t have and I’m not good at it 😭
you could upload it as a youtube short ^^
This video really makes me wish they taught Blender in college, I only know Maya and ZBrush. Blender isn't "industry standard" but its toolkit so is so impressive that it should be.
They're starting to but it's in its infancy. It's finding more and more use in games these days and it seems to be branching off from there.
@@robadc honestly Blender already has the tools to be used in the industry. it's just the public impression that is in its "infancy". People are already used to its predecessors and refuse to adapt to another, simply bc they think there's no need or they think blender is inferior.
This is amazing im new to 3d .. if i sculpt a character like this can i rig and use it in unreal?
Hey! I was wondering what tablet you are using, because I couldn't find the info anywhere :)
Thank you!

been sculpting for years, you don't stop learning
@@yansculpts how to start? I tried to sculpt in Zbrush but...first results disappointed and demoralized me. And it's hard to work with mouse without tab.
@@WindRunner04 keep going. Follow a tutorial and learn the basics. Practice, practice practice. You can't just give up because your first try went wrong. That is the point of learning. You make mistakes so you learn how to make it correct.
