Go on Amazon and there's a cinematic smartphone mount for $20 fully adjustable for whatever phone you have but you can't add a lens to the mount itself
I LOVE my Dji Osmo Mobile!
Hey can u help me grow big with a shout out
Great sir . I learn a lot from ur videos😊😊😊
Luv from India
@@benricheson101 It's a great device. I considered one, but have my video needs covered by other gear already that accomplishes the same gear a little better for me. If they come out with a "Pro" version of it in near the same size range, I would be all over it. I think the Osmo Mobile is a great rig and is priced just right for most CZcamsrs or videography fans.
Great video... do you have any recommendations on a top down mounts for filming art/craft videos? I also don't want to film the tripod legs.
I use my iPhone exclusively to film. This is beyond helpful for me!!
I’m having issues with storage man
@@InnovAce ahahahaha
Mr.Cookie not anymore beatchhhhhh I got 256 GB
Good options! I personally like and use the ulanzi phone mount with the built in cold shoe for a light or mic
This is just want I needed! Thank you, I just started my channel and have been growing my content and my skills! Keep giving me more content!!
I don't use my phone to film our Adventures, but this tempts me to do so. Great vid as usual.
I have the iOgrapher for my iPhone and iPad along with microphones from Rode and IKMultimedia. Absolutely love it. I bought the Neewer 176 light from your link on amazon.
Awesome setup Kenneth and thanks for the support! 👊💯
Definitely sharing this video with my family so that maybe Santa will bring me something nice :) Thanks for an excellent informative video.
Hahahahhaha
I'm currently reading your book *CZcams Secrets* and man, I cannot tell you how much I needed this clarity in my CZcams career. I appreciate the amount of value and time you and Benji put in to give us the information we need to be successful on this platform.
Gonna start planning my vision this month and start implementing the strategies throughout 2019 👏🏽
Wow that rig is amazing!!! I am in love...
I just ordered the Vastar mount and the Joby tripod two days ago! I’m happy to hear you recommend both!
I’m glad you recommended the iographer. I have frame for iPad. I swear by it!
YESSSSSSS indeed!! 👏👏So helpful ...love your tips and tools!!👌 Awesome job!! Definitely will give them a try! Love 💪💪💕🙌

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Have a fantastic day. Happy Monday!!❤😂🎉😊
what gear to use to shoot down, to capture drawing on an iPhone Plus?
As Always, THANKS SEAN! I am a VRA grad and my Channel has just jumped past 100 subs! I am excited to keep pressing forward. I have the Cannon M50 with a 22mm prime lens and the Shure SM7B setup. I need a dedicated phone tri-pod and mount for my phone for YT shorts to avoid switching back and forth since my Newer tripod lives behind my monitor. I am currently working on building one courses which my larger setup is good for but I need something like this for light use. Thank you for all that you and the THINK MEDIA team do!
I just bought a 2nd Yi4k(well the 2nd is the +) and a bunch of mounts... I use a Canon sl2 for the main shots, but my iphone & the action cams are awesome for 4k(downscaling) & 120 slow motion... I changed everything to quick mounts, which, as a knifemaker, everything i do, takes a 10 minute setup in my small shop, but the 3 camera shot is awesome... Lighting takes up the most space... Thanks for all the tips... have a great day, take it easy...
was looking at the joby tripod and couldn't make up my mind, glad I came across this video, the mefoto made it an easy choice
Thanks so much for this video! I was wondering what to get and this really helped.
Sean this is perfect!!!! I’m loving the ones you shared today, I think I’m gonna go for the one that I can use for lots content creating but I also want that one you have with the blue clip🤔. Funny I just told my husband I wanted gear for my videos and your video just popped up, maybe google really is listening 😂. Great tips as always Sean, Thank you!
Love this! Thank you so much, you have no idea how bad I needed this
Great content Sean thanks
Thanks so much for the information! I just recently got back into teaching English online, and my platform is phone based rather than computer based, but the tripod I bought broke within a week of teaching. Definitely shopping for more durable options.
Your videos are so helpful..
I love the MeFoto (thanks to your recommendation in another video) about to add the iographer to the mix. I film exclusively on iPhone right now so this is incredibly helpful. Thank you again for awesome content! 😄
same page!!
I definitely need to get one of these for my phone! I'd love to have phone setup as well as my camera so I can get 2 different angles
Really lover your videos, help me so much
Hi! Thanks for all the tips in your videos. What Mv88 mic do you use for your live stream. You mentioned it quickly but I didn't see a link for it in the description.
This looks perfect. Does the MeFoto offer 1 handed quick turn like snap to position or do u gotta loosen back each time?
I rock the Ulanzi U rig pro. Great mount if you wanna add on the lighting and shotgun mic.
Thank for this information. Well needed
3:50-4:10+ Reteach of the word "Vibe" or "Vibey" Vibie Viby - as quantization. This is actually more significant than it seems at first note. Good clip.
Love your videos too many to choose from
amazing as always ❤️❤️
Hey guys and gals at Think. Would love an updated version of this video!!! Love you guys! Thanks
Thanks for the review! I just got Ulanzi U-Rig Pro in the mail today in addition to the Ulanzi VL49 light, and the Comica CVM-VM10 II shotgun mic.
Im a beginner so i felt the vastar universal affordable for me but its not available in amazon
Thanks good info
Great info!
One new subscriber.! 🙋♂️
The video that i was searching for..
Great tips! I have a SMOVE and it’s challenging getting it to behave. Any tips on that?
Thanks for the review very helpful!
You're welcome Michael - keep crushing it! 👊💯
Anyone have recommendations for a good lav mic for an iPhone that's an upgrade from the Rode SmartLav+? $150 max budget - Thanks!
It’s better to purchase the boya by m1 as it has got a ton of cord length and it is compatible with both your smartphone and dslr so if you upgrade they have got you covered
Depends on what you are doing. If you are vlogging or doing interviews, the Boya is a good choice. However, if you are doing filmmaking, then the Rode is a solid choice.
The Boya has a higher noise floor and produces more white noise (around -43dB) whereas the Rode gives off a lot less (around -49 to -53db). That may not sound like much but if you are filming in a really quiet environment, the extra dB you get form the Boya will be noticeable.
Why are you looking to go up from the Smartlav+?
As a sound mixer, I can tell you that really the next step up is to get a wireless lav unit. If you can add $50 (plus tax) to your budget, the Azden Pro-XD might be a good choice. But you will want to get a better actual lav mic than the standard one as again, like the Boya, it's got a apparent noise floor.
I actually use a modified drum cymbal stand. It allows me to get some shots that are not possible with a regular tri pods. You can really fine tune exactly where you want the camera to be for over head shots. The drum cymbal stand has tons of adjustment if your trying to film something at a very specific angle. The cymbal stand combined with one of these camera mounts would be great for someone trying to film a diy video. I do chef knife and sharpening videos.
Where did u get the rectangle led light on the tripod from ??
Crazy, I just searched a video for smartphone tripods and watched your 2016 review. Next thing I know, you posted an updated version! woohoo
How perfect timing!!!
Alot of great options
Wow amazing accessories
Thank you for alllllll if your content!!
Great recommendations, thanks.
Great sir . I learn a lot from ur videos😊😊😊
Luv from India
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Your videos are awesome. What is the best heavy-duty tripod with Bluetooth remote that can extend to 60inches tall or taller?
Amazing video thank you 4 this information 🌹
thanks! I’m a big fan of cinematography and would love to do more content on my own after taking a video production class :)
Cool video. I keep running into issues using phones in cases on most of these mounts. Phone ends up being to thick. Any thoughts on a mount foe thicker phones as well as larger (wider)
Great video. If you will, please advise as to the LED light and microphone details in the video? Thank you!
Thank you so much this helped alot!!!!
U Rig Pro is really an awesome stuff to pick up... Cool video as always!
Thanks so much for a very helpful video. What about the light you have mounted
This is so useful for me.... looked into your links and would appreciate if u could place the links for the lenses, microfone and led light pls to ensure I purchase the right one.... great video and cannot wait to shop and get filming
‼️This is a very good video thank you for the info‼️
You're welcome!
I found I use the little Joby GripTight One micro stand of on a keychain for phone. Now I need a larger but compact version for the iPad Mini. I used the MeFoto as well.
I have the iPhone 11pro. Says mefoto 360 plus only fits 2.99” and up. The 11pro measures 2.81”.. So which one should I get? Thank you for these videos! They’re very informative
That funny, I just ordered the URig Pro on Monday, with a shotgun mic and then I come across your video.
I just read through all of the comments(almost 200) and someone had asked about lenses for smart phones. I would like to see that as well. I am thinking about starting a second channel and was wondering if a wider lens would help. The channel would revolve around blacksmithing and other DIY projects.
Excellent presentation!
Does this goes to any size phones where I can make adjustments to hold my phone because I got a thick phone case
Will the sidekick work with an iPhone 11 Pro Max or do you have any recommendations for that iPhone 11 Pro Max? I have a couple of different tripods. One is a K&F 66”. I do a lot of cooking videos.
Thank you for this vid👍🏾
Thanks for the information on smartphone tripod.
This live thing is awesome!!! I get to learn from different ppl who wants to make videos on yt :) I use my iPhone X and the tripod and mounts that Sean recommended :) I brought it long long time ago and still works great 👍:)
Thanks Big Sean. I need one of those.
Hey Think Media Crew! I'm looking for an iPhone 7 plus mount for first person videos. I'm filming DIY stocking tutorials right now and most of the shots are on the project from my point of view. I need a mount that can be angled downwards without losing its balance. I have a very limited budget but can save up for a quality mount. Any recomendations would be great! THANKS! Love all your videos!
I need a tripod for my cellphone iPhone to do video chats with friends, family and work now that we are in quarantine mode under COVID19 precautions. I would generally be at home but do think being able to take it on the go i.e. car or in a kayak would be cool. What do you suggest?
Great video. I have a channel focused on hiking and backpacking, and I’m always looking for better tripod solutions. I do have a question. I’m looking to improve my on-trail audio quality. Any suggestions for external mics for use with my iPhone?
Thanks for insights. You very briefly mentioned a microphone. V88? What mic do you recommend? I purchased a Movo iVlogger rig that came with a Saramonic mic. But it’s no better than my iPhone audio! And actually somewhat reduces over-all quality! More unidirectional in sound??! Advice appreciated
That filmmaker case is so awesome
I been meaning to get a tripod for my smart phone because I film with my phone thanks for sharing
I love to use the joby handypod with the phone mount that has a cold shoe on top of it.
For the MeFoto SideKick360 Plus can you connect anything else to it like a shotgun microphone, Lume Cube light...etc
This is very valuable information. Thanks! I'm starting to record more. I've just purchased Acuvar Vlogging kit and absolutely love it! It's a good value. Holds 2 phones or 1 phone plus tablet with a remote shutter. Adjustable ring light. And, oh so important, a microphone! I record outdoors often and vocals can get lost in the wind. However, now I have my eye on that gorilla tripod. Hmmm. More options. I think I should add one to the family! Thanks 👍. 🦋
Thank you so much for this ministry
thanks for making for making this video
Thank you Sean! This is very helpful. I still need to save up though haha
You're welcome Gia - happy to help - keep crushing it! 👊💯
Me too!😂
Yep, me too. I did purchase a 32 GB SD card on sale for 9.99 for my galaxy phone though so I can record longer and keep more videos on my phone.
@@petalpassion3636 that's great. You got better deal there 😊😊
I use a Sirui 3T-35K tripod with a Joby Griptight Pro mount. I'm looking to upgrade to the new Joby Griptight Pro2 mount though as it has a cold shoe on it.
Great info
Hey sean do you know which mount youtubers use to attach two smartphones side by side for camera comparison?
Bro Smart I saw something that might help. The uRig Pro has two threaded holes on the top that you could attach 1/4” male to 1/4” male threaded adapters. You could then attach two other phone mounts to that.
You could also get a piece of flat bar and thread three holes and using the threaded adapters I talked about, mount two phones onto that.
Best tips ever!
I guess that answers that question...lol...great video👍
very helpful
I've heard the ball style, manipulatable tripods, wear out quickly, and bust after long term use. I'm looking for a good tripod that can be manipulated for rails and uneven surfaces.
Hi. Great video! Thank you.
Is there a way to connect a display on your phone to use the back camera instead?
