This is by far the most complete and radical design that DJI has released and I can't wait to go out and film again with the OM 4! The magnetic design is fantastic and allows for quick interactions with the smartphone without loosing connection. Also love the 290g of payload capacity! Great for filming with Sandmarc lenses and accessories! Keep in mind that the DJI OM 4 magnetic ring and holder may block wireless charging.

@@EMTFILMS LIterally just bought the OM3 two weeks ago and didn't realize the Om4 was coming - someone had recommended the 3. Hated the whole balancing act - How do you compare this to the Zhyun 4 Smooth? I used that a few times but it was so heavy and bulky it seemed over time to be a deterrent to using it on the fly.

Great review and nice filming! You made me realize that I really don't need a gimbal for my phone. The phone stabilization is good enough, I just need to become a better ninja.

I Got The IPhone 12 pro. With 67 mm nd filter and anamorphic lens combined with The moment case.
In total The stuff weighs about 350 grams.
So i Got The DJI om4 and it cant carry all that weight.....
so my question is. What Gimbal should i get for this setup?

I am happy because I just ordered this!
I haven't used the magnetic ring holder but what do whenever using an item with double sided adhesive is get a microfiber towel and some rubbing alcohol to wipe down the surface clean of any dust, dirt, and oils from the hands. It works very well with everything I've used this trick with so I think thr magnetic ring holder will stick better

Great review, thanks. My question is of the Osmo 4, could I also use active track with my iPhone whilst using Microsoft Teams? I have to work from home now due to all the restrictions and I spend most of my days on Teams video meetings, I’d really like to walk around or even go outside on the odd occasion and this seems ideal to take a meeting on my phone if it would work?
10:30 I have had this gimbal for 2 days now and I could not get vertical panning shots to work well until last night when I discovered this trick. Thanks for sharing it for others 💪🏼
if You do not mind me asking what is the trick for vertical panning.
@@johnhusband924 Hold the handle to the side is what I was refereeing to. I think if you hold it upside down this helps too but can't remember if that was for the 3 or 4. Also fixed the timestamp so it shows correct clip.

Fantastic for the money!
I notice on the running with the hand held the background jumps your head is more stable but with gimbal you head bounces and the background is stable.
I am strugling with the gimble to make the horizon level. And this is from shot to shot.
Same for me but I've found out, that when the DJI Mimo app is running in the background, and you have made a horizontal correction, then it seems to work fine. It's not really a pretty solution but it seems to do the trick.
Thanks for the insightful product review. Still, one thing stayed unknown for me after watching this video and this is recording in Ultrawide mode on your iPhone 11 Pro Max. I am wondering can you see the part of the gimbal in your footage as this was the case in previous DJI models?
+1 my iPhone 11 weight and wide angle shots (that showed part of the gimbal) were the main reasons I returned the 3. If the 4 can handle the weight and provide a true wide angle lens shot, I’m in

I just stumbled across these gimbals a week ago. I decided to buy the Mobile 3 combo. Nothing against the 4. Just got the 3 at a reduced price now that the 4 is out.
Can the OM4 handle the SandMarc case and any SandMarc lens without counterweights?

I got my OM 4 today.. it’s pretty cool but when I mount m phone in the Moment case into the magnetic clamp, it doesn’t feel very secure.. how did you find it?

Question about the dynamic zoom. Is it also available for the osmo pocket 2 when usinh the mimo app?
