How to Plant Amaryllis Bulbs 3 to a Pot

Growing amaryllis bulbs indoors in midwinter is fun. A big amaryllis bulb produces 2 to 3 stems, with each stem topped by 4 enormous, flamboyant flowers. Usually, the bulbs are grown "one to a pot." For a completely different experience, consider growing the bulbs "3 to a pot." Now, you've got 3 bulbs x 2 to 3 stems x 4 flowers each. That's 24 to 36 flowers per pot! It's a windowsill garden, with enough stems to cut a few for the vase as well.
