    I just repotted my wax covered bulb, and noted the same soft spot. I was not sure if I should cut it out of just let it go and hope for the best. Any suggestions? Did your soft spot recover once the wax (and some rubber or plastic wrap under that on mine) was off?

      @zach16 Thanks for the inquiry. I carefully remove all rotten areas. If the rot is left, especially touching the soil, it may continue to grow. I hope the soft spot is not too big. 😕 These plants are very hearty and worth the effort. The Amaryllis I show in the video have recovered completely and are doing great. Best of luck to you. 🌱

      @@SuburbanGardening365 thanks, and I did use a paring knife and peeled off a couple of layers, and that was it! Clean green now, fingers crossed as it was a big bulb I got as a Christmas gift
