- Raven Cliff Falls trail is a popular hiking trail right outside of Helen, Georgia. It is one of the top 10 best waterfalls in Georgia. This trail was the first hiking vlog we ever made for our CZcams channel. It got us into making CZcams videos. Our skills have greatly improved so we wanted to come back and do an updated video. It is a wonderful trail and probably one of the most beautiful waterfalls in North Georgia. It is great for beginner backpackers and has some great camping sites all along the river.

This is amazing! I would love to be able to hike somewhere with some shade and foliage besides cactus and yucca plants! Lol! I remember fondly my time at the Ranger Training Battalion in Dahlanaga....the mountains are amazing. The blueberry pancakes were the best part! lol!

We love Helen Georgia. Wow, that heart in the tree is really cool. The waterfall is beautiful, sorry about your knee. That tree was so cool, it has to wear shades. The sound effects on eating a sandwich actually made me Laugh Out Loud.

Bringing me back to some great memories from when I lived in Georgia for 12 years. Woodstock, Alpharetta, Roswell. I went hiking all the time. I went all over the state.
You both are pretty funny. It really adds to the videos. The sound effects of Rachel eating her sandwich. It was hilarious. You both are real and I appreciate it.

There's so many beautiful waterfalls in Georgia most people from outside of Georgia wouldn't think we had this many waterfalls. That's awesome! it's crazy how people just start following along lol after that you get hooked!

I made the trip. Very busy but worth it. I did fish some and caught some 4 to 5 in trout. Camping was nice. See you on the trail!

Hey thanks for the new video. We'll be in the area mid October staying in what used to be called Green Mansions Cabins just about a mile from Helton Creek Falls. We were thinking of going over to Smithgall Woods and then hitting The Troll Tavern on the river in Helen. Next time you are near there you should do that back trail tot eh top of Dukes Creek Falls....its worth a little adventure!
You should check out Unicoi State Park. Love the troll tavern. If I can find it will definitely check it out one day. Thanks for watching!
@@NickandRachel Hey N&R...Unicoi is nice.....about 20 years ago we spent a lot of time in the Helen-Blairsville-Blood Mountain area and tore the back roads up...:) this trip we ae going to do Smithgall...for some reason never went in there....always saw it on the way to or from somewhere else. Have you ever been to Minnehaha Falls near Lake Rabun? That was another one we stumbled upon after driving the perimeter of Lake Rabun and saw the barely noticable sign for the trail. Its a short walk into a really shaded and cool valley....beautiful stairstepped wide falls. If you are looking for that other one....the one thing I remember is that the bank of the forest road on the side where Dukes Creek would be is built up like a small hill. There was a big hole like it was dug out by a frontend tractor.

Yeah it's really weird being on camera for the first time we had a hard time with it when we first started. And it still gets weird filming intros and outros with a bunch of people standing around but we get through it lol she'll get used to it if she tries it a little more it gets easier. Trust me Rachel hated it at first lol
@@NickandRachel I just have to be conscious of the shots I take. If too much includes my wife, she has to edit and then the video may lose some sections. Rachel does a great job talking on camera as my wife would not want to do that at all regardless. Maybe in the future...who knows?

I’m pretty sure we’ve been there but I’d have to look back through my photos to be sure. It sure looks familiar. Side note: over the last several years I’ve become someone who documents everywhere we go with video and pics. Like you I wanted learn editing and once I did then I wanted to learn the best way to share what I make. Not really expecting to ever monetize (plus I know that’s basically a full-time job) but learning this process is very interesting to me. I’m fascinated by people I watch who are successful in doing this. It’s obvious you guys put in a lot of work and the quality shows.
It's a really pretty waterfall so if you haven't been there you definitely should check it out!
I've always been interested in film and editing got into it years ago and did some student films with my friends and then ended up working in the movie industry for a little bit being a caterer. After a while I just got tired of it and decided to do something else and while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do I finally started my own channel and it just kind of took off from there. I've always been one of those people once I've taken interest in something I really put my time and focus on it.
We'll keep posting and keep learning it's really fun and you never know what could happen I didn't expect they ever get monetized lol it still don't replace our full-time jobs or anything but I take it seriously like it does. Who knows maybe one day it will.

It's amazing how much we all improve in our videos. Really love your hiking videos and the beauty of every place you go. Ok, I was totally wrong with that UFC fight, Costas got destroyed by Israel. That was a clinic!!! Did you see it?
It is really cool watching the progress over the years! All my buddies were saying Costa was going to take it because he was a bigger fighter lol yeah anything can happen in a fight but fight IQ always comes into play and Israel has over a hundred fights! Definitely seen it live!
@@NickandRachel I just got Final Cut Pro - kinda afraid of the learning curve and when to start. As for the UFC fight - just didn't realize Israel's skills was that much better than Costa. I bet he can't walk when he woke up today.
Yeah man just get started! You can get on CZcams or buy a class on udemy learn all the basics and then start messing around with it. It's pretty crazy how many fights has been in! No doubt lol

Everytime we go for a such trip we just take our separate bags to voluntarily clean the trash which other people are leaving in such a pure nature.....I don't know how people have a heart to throw trash in such a beautiful places.😔

My channel is 6 months old and my first videos are terrible! I’m thinking about remaking them but don’t know if I should.
Well, I only decided to remake the first one because it was really bad. And I've noticed that the very first video ever shot is constantly getting views and I don't want people to think all my content still looks like that that's the reason why I uploaded a new one. So I would say if those videos are still doing well yeah try to remake them but if they're just dead not getting many views I wouldn't worry about it unless you just really want to.
I really like the angles and natural sounds you guys incorporate in your video - very ASMR like. hey look it's Nick hiking - glad you made a cameo in your own video:) Those waterfalls are amazing. Hope your knee is feeling better Rachel. A snack during hiking always taste better. Rachel sure was hungry, LOL!!!!! Color Grading is probably my next upgrade. Which one do you use? I think I'll start using Final Cut Pro. You guys are too cute!!!!
Every now and then I will appear 😅 haha we both were starving. Her leg is doing fine. thanks! I make my own through Premier Pro. Dude that program is awesome I highly recommend it that's what people used to make actual film. If you have the knowledge it pretty much Limitless on what you can make when using a Adobe After Effects with it. If you get the whole package it comes with everything like Photoshop and it all works together.
@@NickandRachel I heard the Final Cut was the standard before and now it's moving over to Premiere Pro. But I think I chose Final Cut was because I heard it was similar to imovie, which is what I use right now. Most of my friends love Adobe Premiere. Your videos look awesome.
Another reason why I use it was because I have friends who went to film school and they were showing me how to use it before I ever got into making videos so I was just pretty familiar with it. Thanks!
An Adventure with Nick & Rachel I was deciding between film school and law school after college. Film would is too doggy dog for my taste. So this gets my creative outlet going.

I know there's lots of good trout fishing around that area I've never seen any signs posted at the trailhead so I'm pretty sure you can might want to do a little bit of research before planning a trip though. Thanks for watching!
