Never Hike Alone | Hard Labor Creek State Park | Friday the 13th part 6 Film Location

- This is our second Halloween special. Hard Labor Creek State Park is the location in which Friday the 13th: Part 6 was filmed. In the film, Camp Crystal Lake was renamed to Camp Forest Green. Camp Daniel Morgan within the park was the Camp Crystal Lake film location. We hope you enjoy our Friday the 13th: Jason Lives Camp Crytal Lake tour. If you plan on touring the film location call the park ahead of time to make sure the area is available. You do need a pass to get into that area. So, also I know this is an unpopular opinion because Friday the 13th Part 6 is a fan favorite. It is definitely not the worst in the series, I just prefer part 2, 3, and 4. To each their own. Also, the park was nice too.

I remember watching the original on VHS with a church youth group at someone's house in the early 1980's. The father came in, watched a few minutes of it, and wouldn't let us watch any more. I've never been a fan of the 13th movies, but would definitely spring for a night with a bunch of friends at this camp...and I am 53 years old. Enjoyed the video.

I have seen all of them myself. Thanks for the reminder about the smiley face scene - totally forgot about that. That jump scene with the deer scared the crap out of me. Good job.

Love it! Very cool theme. Personally I'm partial to Michael Myers and the original "Halloween" as my favorite of the slasher genre. As for "Friday the 13th" the original and "Part II" would be my faves of that canon. Great video! The scene at the beginning (POV from behind a tree) could have been right out of the first movie. And my wife won't watch horror either but I love a good scary flick.
I was actually wearing a Michael Myers beamed shirt in this video lol when I returned by myself. A flannel company " Dixxon flannel " makes themed flannels I have way too many lol
Got a couple of Friday the 13th flannels from them now lol
I had a really good time filming this one my favorite horror genre is slasher so it kind of came naturally lol it was fun watching the movie beforehand and then going out there and seeing the location.
Friday the 13th is always been my favorite Halloween is good too! Rachel also hates horror movies lol

Nick, this is awesome you went back. I have done that a couple of times for other videos. This is easily my favorite video from you guys so far!!!! It's like a hiking tour with a movie location element. Great editing!!!! This is so cool you can rent it out. I totally would keep our families there. Nick you are a hardcore fan!!!! My least favorite, is Jason Takes Manhattan. Even though I like the part where he punched the guys head right off. This is officially on our list now.

Part 6 is definitely a fan favorite! I just enjoy part 2 3 and 4 the most. Part 7 is where the girl has telekinesis and is fighting Jason lol
@@NickandRachel I guess I liked 6 because Tommy was grown and I liked how they kept his character going, although different actors. I liked 7 because Jason actually met his match lol. 8 was just...we won’t talk about 8 or anything after 🤣😂
