Cane Creek Falls Adventure

Cane Creek Falls is an 85 foot plunge waterfall located near Spencer, TN in Fall Creek Falls State Park. The trail down is a treacherously steep rock climb off the Paw Paw Trail. The pool below is fed by Cane Creek and Rockhouse Creek and is featured in this video. Above the falls along Cane Creek are the Cane Creek Cascades a very popular swimming spot. Like most places we kind of just point to a map check the weather and go. So we had no idea how popular this place was. But most folks enjoy the Cascades and sliding off the rocks rather than the steep climb down to the pool. This video features mostly just the pool and falls but you can find the hike video with most of the pictures from this adventure in the link below.
We do not recommend taking children down to the lower pool at the bottom of Cane Creek Falls UNLESS you are an experienced hiker/climber AND your children listen to instruction well. This climb is not a joke. We also recommend wearing REAL shoes! This is America though and we believe in actual freedom just know your and your own children's limitations before going.. -Out There!
