@@fibonaccisequins4637 Yeah, I get that. But the world shown in this episode is so over the top that I don't know if I'd even be able to play the game. There's also ways around a system like this. That's what's not shown in this episode (since it wasn't relevant). The push back/underground movement that would inevitably take root against something like this, where people know what companies/stores/etc. that hire those with the low credit scores, and people who rent to those like them, etc. I love this episode, the only Black Mirror ep I actually watched, and downloaded, but it's not realistic. Especially in places like the U.S. Places like Canada and Australia....sure. They've already gone belly up against a bunch of other malarkey imposed on them in recent times. But the U.S.? Kind of like the last holdout. ;) It couldn't ever succeed here in the way that it's shown in this episode. But that last point is a WHOLE other side topic in itself. Because that soon may no longer be the case.

Lacie was arrested because she caused a dangerous scene at a wedding, yelling and waving a knife around in rich, high fours' faces, they had a reason to arrest her. But the truck driver, she may have a low rating but she's living peacefully in society. People might not want to sit or interact with her, yes, but she's not a dangerous or causing a scene. Judy Heller because that's how we built our society, sure a gangbanger might have alot of money but no one's gonna do business with someone who looks like a gangbanger. Another example is Uber, if you're a driver with a very fancy car but a very low rating, no one's gonna ride with you. It sucks but that's the direction the world is turning.
