Giant Sulking Dog Hates Bath Time And Does Everything To Avoid It (Cutest Doggo!!)

- So here we are again, Phil was last washed over 2 months ago but as you'll see from the video he is filthy!
Phil loves getting as dirty as he can, he would find a puddle filled with wet mud in the Sahara desert if he went on walkies there! He's always ploughing through dirty water, streams, the sea, ponds, anything he can when you don't want him too really. As soon as its no longer his choice, he goes into a strop and tries to become an immovable ball of fluff.
Malamutes can be quite stubborn dogs as Phil demonstrates. He knows what has to happen but has to make a scene about it - such a drama queen, the fame has gone to his head.
Phil tries to hide again, up to his old tricks trying to take cove behind Mia hoping her cuteness will disguise him, then with a twist of events, he tries to trick us and pretend he will get in the bath himself! Eventually we get the dead weight in, wash him and allow him out to dry. He only goes and escapes on a wet rampage of discontent and tries to sabotage the upstairs rooms before vacating.
Phil! we wouldn't change him for the world....

February 2024. Coming back to this video 3 years later to remember how I discovered Phil here on CZcams. He captured my heart with this video ❤ Now he's gone 😢 ❤
For this reason I can never have any pet let alone dogs. They literally becomes our kids.
This is how he was introduced to me too, this same video. How this video came to be recommended to me who was and still is not a dog lover as such is beyond me but after I watched this video I started to watch more and more and fell in love with Phil. I am deeply saddened by his passing.

This is actually sad. People that on dog should know dog body language. This dog is frightened. You need to find a different way to give them a bath. I stand up shower and you get in there with him. My dog is 97 pounds some weight sled dog. My vet suggested the shower and it worked. You also have to moisturize him after the shower.

You called your Malamute Phil 😂 quality! He’s a beautiful boy. We used to put our Akita in the bath during the winter months, the look on her face was one of ‘why do you abuse me.’ She loved it once she could have a shake though and thanked us for being less itchy. Dogs do the funniest things.
