Hi Ashley! Your Tumbler turned out Fantastic! You mentioned at the end about
your mishaps...it's because of Crafters like you that teach us do's and don'ts that
help us out much more than you could imagine. So Thank you for showing the
way to better our crafts. Happy Crafting!đ€ BTW...Elsa stole the show..lolđș
Haha thanks Dee! She always steals the show!
that came out great! I cant wait to do my first cup, thank you for showing us what to look out for. question, can using too much power make a bad engrave?? like if it will work fine at 70, but run it at 90, will it look any different?
Iâve seen some people where there was too much power and the engrave went into the stainless steel a bit so they couldnât get it to clean up nicely. If possible get a sacrificial cup like from the thrift store or something to dial in settings
Have you tried a Yeti yet? I have a 30 oz and want to engrave just on top (larger) part. Any tips on figuring out settings? I don't have a practice cup and nervous to do it. I was going to test it out with painters tap 1 in square like you did, but I'm not sure what settings would be best. Thank you!
I think a lot of people get good results with 400mm/80-95% power on yeti cups. I do most of mine 200mm/95% which is probably overkill but thatâs what will get through the powder coating for me. Maybe everyoneâs bolt is a bit different.
Hi Ashley, how long did it take to burn that in?
This took about 15 mins
Thanks for sharing! One totally off topic question... what model of Husky Workbench do you have your Bolt sitting on? And is it mobile? That exactly what I want to do with mine when I get one later this year!!
I donât remember the exact model but I got it at Home Depot. The feet of the laser are inset a bit so it fits on the style of workbench
@@ChippedBuilds would you mind measuring the dimensions of it when you have a moment?
@@ChippedBuilds in case you didn't see my last reply, would you provide the measurements of the top of the workbench? LxW?
