I must say that Kang-tae, although he is a composed and kind-hearted person, knows how to be as cruel as possible when he wants: telling Moon-young that he would have done better not to save him that day because then he wouldn't have this life now is really a petty act that she doesn't deserve, because in this way he is putting all the responsibility on her. Really bad, but I understand that, like any human being, when he feels cornered, he becomes aggressive and this is his way of being aggressive, we already saw it when he defined Moon-young as empty as a can. Be that as it may, this episode is certainly an important turning point for several characters, mainly for Kang-tae and Sang-tae who were able, in their own way, to discuss an issue that has been hovering over them for a long time. In the end, you said it all very well: Kang-tae must stop punishing himself for what happened by completely canceling himself in favor of his brother, while Sang-tae must learn to become more independent and let his brother pursue his own happiness, without having to worry much about him. Finding the right balance so that everyone finds serenity.
Even if it didn't exactly go as planned, I think the confrontation between Moon-young and Joo-ri also bore fruit: the drunk Joo-ri, in her own way, expressed everything she had to say to Moon-young and I think that the latter understood Joo-ri more to respect her again. And in any case the slap that Joo-ri gave Moon-young to the back of the head was perhaps the most particular and sincere moment between the two of them. Once again, however, the wisest words come from that obtuse Sang-in, when he rightly says that people should not be cataloged, because one can equally feel affection for each of them in a different way, so I believe him when he says that he cares about both Moon-young and Joo-ri, just as I think he really wanted to help her when he sent Seung-jae to give her some sandwiches and gave her that necklace. In the end it was, in my opinion, more of a reflective episode, in a certain sense almost a pause, a slow down before getting back into the running. As always, I keep quiet on the issue of the plot regarding patients Park Ok-ran and Ko Dae-hwan.
    Thanks for the reaction.
Off topic: if you'll indulge me again, I recommend the drama Our Blues if you haven't already seen it, particularly if you like to cry. This is a series, in some ways, almost anthological, narrating the personal stories of many different characters, all set on the island of Jeju. I suggest you don't dwell too much on the first story told, i.e. the first three episodes, which is the weakest of all.
Little note of folklore: seeing Sang-tae cover himself with a heavy duvet, head doctor Oh Ji-wang mentions Prince Sado, imagining that he was very hot down there, saying: "How long did it take Prince Sado to die in the rice bowl I don't remember if he died of hunger or the heat." This is a reference to the historical figure of Crown Prince Sado, considered one of the most tragic figures of the Joseon Dynasty. His story is told in the recent film The Throne. Is a historical drama movie directed by Lee Joon-ik in 2015. It starred Song Kang-ho and Yoo Ah-in. The movie is about the life and death of Crown Prince Sado in the Joseon Dynasty, the most tragic royal family history in Korean history. Crown Prince Sado was the heir to the throne, but he was disqualified as a king and killed by his own father by being locked in a rice chest for eight days at the age of 27.
Why did he die like that? He was a young victim abused by a tyrant. Crown Prince Sado was so smart as a child that he could master Cheonjamun or Thousand-Character Classic when he was only 3 years old. His father, King Yeongjo loved him at first but when the Prince was 4, the King's emotional or mental abuse toward him started. In the meantime, Prince Sado started to have an interest in martial arts and naturally had quite different thoughts or values about life from his father. King Yeongjo didn't like this. After that, King Yeongjo began to treat him harshly and the Prince himself felt extreme spiritual pressure.
When Prince Sado made a suggestion about something, King Yeongjo was quick to say, “Why do you make it without my opinion?” When he asked the King's opinion, the King rebuked him, saying, “Why can't you still make any decision on your own?” King Yeongjo always made Prince Sado shrink or lose heart in front of him and he couldn't deal with any subjects confidently. He was always under extreme stress.
In this situation, Prince Sado went madder and crazier. Finally, he reached a point of high stress and killed people. One day, he killed his royal concubine Bing-ae whom he loved so much, for refusing to wear a dress, and he threw his young son into a well. His wife, Lady Hyegyeonggung Hong felt intuitively that he could even kill her. So she told the Queen Mother what happened and the Queen Mother, in agony told the King, “Please depose the crown prince.” King Yeongjo ordered his subjects to lock him in the wooden rice chest. Prince Sado had to face a miserable death in a small rice chest on May 21st, 1762 when he was 27. There are many more long stories regarding Crown Prince Sado's death, and we still remember the unlucky Crown Prince Sado of the Joseon Dynasty.

I had heard of Prince Sado 🤔 but it was vague so thanks for the information 😊. It was a really hard watch for me because the emotional layers of this episode was a lot and watching the characters try come to terms with their feelings was definitely interesting to say the least. Thanks for the discussion points as always 👍🏽.
For the recommendations I haven't seen any because like you said they're quite emotional so it might be on a later date I react to them so I can have a breather 🤣🤣🤣

Park Ok-ran is a different type of crazy. Especially after finishing the drama, you'll realize she's serving creepiness with a bit of a sass. I would love a mini series of her actually. She's an icon. Haha.
