So I finally got my Intel i9 12900 and proper G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 5200Mhz memory and well thankfully ASUS sent me a board to check out so.. here I am with a review of the HERO.. the Z690 HERO!

Note, according to the ASUS manual for this MB, pg1-5, your two sticks of RAM need to be in slots A2 & B2 (yours appear to be in A1 & B1)
Good motherboard and very good review. my issue was game crashing and not working SLI on this motherboard.
I just bought this mobo, and it is a great board - I'd be interested in your thoughts on setting up two NVME gen-4 drives as a RAID set on the Hyper- expansion card - any thoughts on this would be useful - subbed for doing a great in-depth review!

Bro kinda off topic but i watched ur friend getting stuck in the russian missile silo video and the ending reminded me of the anti gravity sections in my favourite fps game Serious Sam The Second Encounter.

I have the same board (Z790 version) with the Nvidia 4090 Founders Edition... it's 3 slots wide, as I believe your card is also.. can I mount the Hyper M.2 Card in the 2nd PCI slot and still have a little bit of clearance for the graphics card? or is it too tight? Did you try this?
