    Final Size: The pattern creates a blanket that is approximately 36” wide and 45“ high. You can adjust the height to make it shorter or taller.
    Yarn: Approx 1670 yds / 1530 m of Light/DK (Size 3) yarn. I used Snuggly Wuggly by Loops & Threads in the color: Soft Lilac. A skein of this yarn is 5 oz / 141 g and 446 yds / 408 m. I used 3.75 skeins. You can use any brand of yarn you’d like as long as it’s size 3 Light/DK yarn.
    Crochet Hook Size: H/8 (5.00 mm) - you may want to go up a hook size for the starting chain and/or a different size hook to obtain gauge (which is not mandatory).
    Other Materials: scissors, yarn needle
    Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
    Gauge: 4″ x 4″ = 14 sts and 13 rows (following the blanket body pattern without the Puff Stitches)

    I just finished this beautiful blanket and I just love it. I used your same yarn in the pretty lavender you used. It is so pretty I am anxious to make another in a different color. Your instructions are great keep up the good work! Thank you for all these wonderful patterns!

    Just found your channel, have liked and subscribed. This is such a cute baby blanket, I'll save it to my library and get started today. My daughters boss is expecting her first child and this would be a lovely gift to give her. If I am successful with it, I'll be making a second one for her friends who will have their first child next month in July! Thanks you for making this tutorial and sharing the pattern.

    I just started another blanket of yours. Oh dear….now I don’t know if I should stop and make this

    This looks like a lovely pattern! If I want to change the height of the blanket, what would the size be if I leave one row of hearts off? I would like it a bit smaller, but I wasn’t sure if that would make it too much smaller. Thanks for the wonderful patterns you share with us!

    • @jototheworldcreations
      @jototheworldcreations  Před měsícem +1

      Thank you! You are welcome to stop making rows whenever you'd like :). I've only made it the size that it is so I can't tell you the exact measurements but you're welcome to experiment. Hope you enjoy making it!

    I am loving making this blanket. Thank you so much for a wonderful pattern. Im wondering though, if i changed the border color, what row would you suggest doing that? Maybe after a few rounds of the single crochets?

    • @jototheworldcreations
      @jototheworldcreations  Před 3 měsíci

      Thank you very much! You're welcome to make the border a different color. I haven't done it myself but perhaps you could start the new color when you start Round 1 of the border. I'd love to know how you make out!

    • @jototheworldcreations
      @jototheworldcreations  Před rokem

      Thanks for watching! You’re welcome to take a look at the chart and add your desired number of heart sections. Because the hearts alternate it can get complicated and I haven’t designed the pattern to be other sizes.

    • @jototheworldcreations
      @jototheworldcreations  Před rokem

    • @jototheworldcreations

      Hi there, thank you. You are welcome to take a look at the chart and determine how many heart sections you would like to add and count the stitches. Because the hearts alternate, it can get complicated and I haven’t designed the pattern to be a different size then what’s in the pattern / chart.

    • @jototheworldcreations

      Hello! I really wish I could help but at this time, I've only made the blanket the size that it is.

  • @user-hc6ho7rd9h
    @user-hc6ho7rd9h Před 4 měsíci

    My beginning chain count, when I get to 111 chains it's a lot shorter than your measurements. The only difference between yours and mine is the yarn I'm using is a 4

    • @jototheworldcreations
      @jototheworldcreations  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi there! I don't recommend measuring your chain row. Everyone makes their chains with different tensions. I would recommend measuring after several rows of the blanket body. Also, I have only designed, made and tested the blanket using size 3 (light) yarn.

    • @user-hc6ho7rd9h
      @user-hc6ho7rd9h Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thank you. I'm a beginner and I wasn't sure. I had the 4 yarn already in a beautiful pastel yellow so I didn't want to buy more. I've kept going and I think it will be fine.

      Hi there! Do mean the size of your blanket is different? It's okay if the size is a little different, it doesn't need to be exact.
