Right now, you can go take out a taxpayer-subsidized loan to go take a COURSE FOR COLLEGE CREDITS on "Anti-Whiteness" at a taxpayer-subsidized university, but be arrested by NYPD (who is trained by the IDF in exchange programs in pretty hardcore anti-American and anti-Constitutional policing) for protesting Israel on those same campuses, paid for by those same tax dollars.

The Progressive left is a fundamentalist identity religion. They have NOTHING in common with Palestinians, zero. No values, no belief, and in fact Palestinians oppose Progressive beliefs. Yet, because Palestinians are more "oppressed" or "marginalized", than Israel the Progressive left goes into a pseudo religious fervor.
HAMAS cant be separated from Palestinians. They set the rules of warfare the day they attacked. Yet, the Progressive identity obsessed left sees them as oppressed and therefore free of criticism and standards.
