The hosts also weigh in on the most contentious primaries happening Tuesday including New York’s 16th District, which progressive Jamaal Bowman is struggling to maintain after two terms. Separately, Jess and Robby explain how law enforcement is spying on people’s mail. Trump ran up the debt twice as much as Biden; How? @alexanderkesterson6338 Před 3 dny +3

      Its literally the job of a government to print and destroy Fiat currency, which is what we have ever since we stopped the gold standard there are ups and downs to Fiat currencies the upside is if your country doesnt have enough gold or silver deposits/reserves you can still spend money but the money spent should be on infrastructure that would in turn generate wealth offsetting that extra printing. The downside is if you overspend and dont get your return your actual debt keeps going up (military spending doesnt generate wealth so weve been going deeper in debt) also because so much of Americas wealth belongs to a small number of people and that money is just accumulating not circulating which means the government needs to print more money to be in circulation for the common people to get payed and spend in our economy.

    • @GeorgeSchumpf
      @GeorgeSchumpf Před 2 dny

      @DonaldJoeKennedy
      @alexanderkesterson6338
      The constitution authorizes the federal government to coin money. When "coin" is used as a verb in the context of money, it has a very technical meaning, to stamp flat, round disks out of METAL It definitely does not mean to print paper, monopoly money, as the treasury dept does today. Furthermore, the constitution also restricts the states from using anything but gold and silver as legal tender. So the only constitutionally legal, state sanctioned currency is gold and silver coins. Federal and U.S. state governments (constitutionally demanded to be republican in form) have no other powers than those defined in their constitutions
      "All legislative powers herein granted...." If it is not therein granted, it is forbidden. And if there is any doubt, review the 9th and 10th ammendments
      If our government were limited by its authorizing charter, inflation and boom/bust cycles would nearly impotent and the U.S. government would not be a leviathan sea monster able to gobble up the wealth and liberty of mankind. That is exactly why it is the way it is today, in complete defiance of the founding documents, both the constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

When Bethlehem Steel went under I watched the town wither and start to die. People left in droves and my ex-husband and I were part of those who moved away. I've heard that it continued to deteriorate to the point where it's now one of the most DANGEROUS towns in Pa. Apparently, illegal drugs took over the city through slow erosion d/t bad elements from other areas moving into the housng projects. For several decades there's been rumors that new industries were coming in but it hasn't happened yet.

    TSA is ridiculous and useless. We are not any safer because of TSA, and because of that fact I don't feel any safer. But the reality is that there is no real terrorism risk, and therefore I'm not fearful even in the slightest, at all, anyway.
    The day someone starts FAYOR (Fly At Your Own Risk) Airlines; with no TSA and no screening of any kind, just walk from your car or drop-off point onto the plane, that'll be my airline for the rest of my life.

    You "covered" the AOC/Samders fundraiser for Bowman and made ZERO mention of the absolutely anemic crowd of perhaps 300 people?
    And Jess, you think Bowman is "really good" in congress? I thought you understood already how captured these people are, regardless if they speak out on Gaza or not. Come on, you know he's still an establishment tool

      The comments section were easier to read (one specific topic per video).
