- The House Ways and Means Committee is slated to hold a hearing Wednesday on strengthening child welfare and protecting children.
Paris Hilton and other advocates are set to testify before the panel about modernizing child welfare programs.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.

There is a great lacking of functioning adults. There is an abundance of functioning addicts and function adults with a lifetime history of dysfunctional family life. Even in churches membership consists of more unhealed walking wounded than overcomers. I'm happy she received what she needed and I agree with her, but In my community I don't see those adults even exist.
So you’re at home and your child throws an innocent sandwich across the floor and then it takes six people to subdue them is there anybody else that finds this visual depiction out of balance, secondly, I question this very rich person sitting here testifying as to her credentials with children, her credentials with the situation, and her credentials todepict a story in which she was not part of it, if it were a bystander that came forward and wanted to report this then yes, but other than that, I’m really tired of wealthy people, believing that they have some sort of magical power because of their wealth to argue appoint about anything just. I’m tired of it.

I encourage you to actually look into Paris' work with this! She may be rich but she is a good person fighting for children because of her own personal experiences as a child.
It takes someone with money who has gone through this to step up. Who else can? I couldn't and it happened to my son. God bless her!!!
