- Bruce Wayne got very ill from his flea and tick medication. He stopped eating for 5 days, he almost died and we have been keeping a close eye on him as he recovers. Through his sickness he stopped eating for 5 days and lost 15 lbs. He has finally started to eat very well again and we are giving you a full update on a nice little snowy walk and talk.

I have had Cane Corsos for many years. I train them from the minute they get home. I never raise a hand to them, or yell at them. They learn very fast.
I am 77 years old, and every dog I have ever had is spectacular looking and incredibly kind and stable.
I can't imagine my life without one. Even as old as I am, I never have any trouble managing them.
Glad Bruce is doing so much better. Thank you Lord! These dogs are so well cared for and loved.
Hey guys. Thank you for letting us know that products meant for our dogs, not every dog can handle. I lost my dobie. “ kidney failure” October 2nd. Just thought about this, I put k9 as advantix 2 on him during the summer. I wonder if that had anything to do with it 😢 I hope not. He also had vaccines and heart worm shot about 1 year prior. I’m with y’all with adding no poison ( vaccines Ect) in their body’s.
I'm impressed at how, that the jet snow skier, respects the dogs and slows down a shade, the same as a car passing a horse! U are all looking soo good and healthy.

Jason, I am on the highest dose of Gabapentin for neuropathy. It works miracles for me. I am so happy that Bruce is doing better.
Me too for non diabetic peripheral neuropathy..it's a godsend.. I dont think I would be here today if I had to truly deal with the pain..people just don't understand how painful it is...

My sheppie was on gabapentin & tummy meds & they helped greatly. Bruce Wayne is YOUR baby & you treat you dogs wonderful! Have faith, be proud of them & blessings for both to have long healthy life❤❤
I am in a melee of watching all your videos back to back. Getting into the emotion thing about losing a dog is very near to me. My parents and I had a border collie. I felt a lump on her stomach and we went to the vet and they biopsied it and said "it's just a mass, no issues". 6 months later, that mass had moved from her stomach to the top of her spinal column and was compressing it so she couldn't walk. Went to the emergency vet and that mass had become a tumor that was inoperable and 3 days later we had to put her down. Losing a pet is a hard ball of emotions coming. You both having each other makes it where you will be able to get through anything that happens. A year after we had to put her down, my dad passed away and 11 months after that my mom passed. The whole group of Jason, Kara, Bruce and JJ seems like a good squad to be a part of and knowing there will always be someone to talk to and has your back. Keep it up

I just love you guys ❤ I’ve been watching for years as well as Will. Just love your philosophies. I’ve come to love BW and JJ as much as my own 2. I’m currently going through near the end for my 15 year old Bentley aka my shadow, 90% blind deaf with a bit of dementia. It’s not easy but when I lost my lab 16 years ago I myself lost 32 lbs and I only weighed 125 lbs to begin with. I was in a dark place until I remembered all the love and funny antics and bond we had and that thanks was all to Bentley. I will still have my Gracie (10 ) but I am in a better understanding of reality. You hit the nail on the head. Live life to the fullest.
I have a 1 year old Rotticorso female who went through a very similar situation. She had a reaction to her ver first dose of flea and tick med oral simparica. She lost her appetite for 4 weeks, lethargic, dragged her feet and lost 10 lbs. After 4 weeks, which was the time the med lasted in her system, she bounced back
No problems. All weight is back and more. 120lbs. Remember those meds stay in their systems for 30 days. Meds have to wear off before you see significant change. I hand fed her alot, gave alot of treats. They can also feel your stress. Hang in there!!!

So happy to see BW doing better. If gabapentin improves his quality of life then it's a no brainer, in my opinion. A good quality of life is priceless. Take one day at a time and continue being great and loving dog parents.
I've been taking Gabapentin for about 4 years. I have peripheral neuropathy, it works great with no side affects, happy it's helping Bruce, we all love him.

Wish I could do that in the south but heart worms are seen in dogs now as young as 6 mnths old now. So we have to prevent and treat here. Fleas and ticks rarely die due to warmer winters, leads us to desperation in rescues to rid of Infestation especially when it has caused severe skin issues. Lyme disease should be tested for on the regular but it's not. Rabies and parvo is also all over here. Vaccine are necessary if your dog is socializing. Your right it is a fine line and a personal choice. I praise you for taking such great care of them. They are such happy dogs. I'm glad you are treating his pain. Gab is a good pain med for dogs.❤❤
This is such a great video with gorgeous scenery. The dialogue about how y"all felt about the passing of Winston was so heartfelt. I am trying to soak up every second I can with my 15 & 1/2 year old pittie. I dread his passing but I'm soaking up all the memories I can with him. Grief from a beloved animal friend is real pain and should never be ridiculed or dismissed. Really relating to hearing your expression/experience with it. Such a beautiful family.

We’ve had a pretty long winter already. Had -35C for the past week, which was a challenge though. Now suddenly it’s super warm and everything is melting and becoming dirty. I’m jelly of your guys snow now. 😂

Gabapentin is a godsend. I have Restless Leg Syndrome and Peripheral Neuropathy (non diabetic).. its super painful. I literally wouldnt be here if i had to deal with such pain

I agree 100% with you in regards to vaccines, flea and tic meds and heartworm preventative. I do the same thing and i wish more dog owners would do research on what they are putting into their dogs.

The vet had given our 12 week old puppy a three and one heartworm and flea and tick medication that they take orally same day as I watched your video and it led me to talk to my breeder and do more research and I did not give her that pill, and I think that may have saved me from a lot of problems down the road, thank you for sharing your journey so that other people have this information that these medication’s aren’t always good

I have a Australian Shepherd. It’s 11 years old. That doesn’t someday she’s she’s really good another day she’s not and it upsets me but listen you guys makes me feel better.
Love your dogs. Gabapentin helped my Presa Canario Mastiff with her arthritis. It was taken with Carprophen . The combination was very effective for a long time. She lived till 16.
I had a beautiful grey rescue Corso also. Just a phenomenal dog. I so enjoy your videos. Wish I could have another Corso.
