Buying a car is tough. This is a good car, you can put two bass amp cabinets off 4x10 or some large PA speakers. I do want to get a car too but I'm still on furlough because of covid

Congrats Julia,! Just like you, I test drove one in 2019 and fell in love with it. Then a year later I finally got one after they worked out all the kinks for a first new model. Also the mark ups were insane! Fast fwd to this past Nov and now I got one!

There weren’t really any kinks to work out with the Telluride. I got mine as soon as it came out with no markup. I think it’s only because they didn’t know what the reaction would be at that time.

Takes a ton of time to get a car like this. With this tragedy, this is tough. I wonder if this car will be able to fit full of music gear and travel to perform at concerts. If there were good and travel from state to state. I might be interested. There are some car features on where I could take most of my essential music gear.

Congratulations and welcome to the Telluride family! I got the first gen 2020 in March 2019. I got the SX trim. It’s been very reliable so far and an absolute pleasure to own. 18,000 miles. I recommend getting your oil changes at a Kia dealership because they use a special Kia oil filter that helps prevent carbon buildup. The white color is the way to go!

Congrats on your new Telly! The S model is nicely equipped and you get a lot for the money. I bought our 2021 last August (ordered) and picked it up in late October. Ours is Dark Moss Nighfall with Butterscotch leather. Best car I've ever owned and I've owned many! Enjoy your new Telly!

Edmunds did a review about this vehicle, owning it for a year, and had nothing but high praises, one of the staff actually loved it so much they bought it, its truly a great vehicle, one thing to keep in mind is that TAILGATE opens up sometimes if you just walk pass it and you have your key, one of the guys said he was taking off the bike off the bike rack on the hitch where the key triggered the sensor to open the tail gate and crushed some of the back end...
It's been great! Mine doesn't have an automatic tailgate, but good thing to note for the people who do have this feature!

When I was getting mine, they had a waiting list for every color but white. I went with white because I needed it at an immediate basis, but I love it!

i just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. i'm a toyota person but i think I dropped the gun too fast and this is what i ended up leaving the lot with, lol i'm grateful though, its the perfect car for me. all glory to god! I just purchased the Kia Seltos EX, which is basically the baby version of the Telluride. The Telluride is quite mesmerizing! Once again congratulations!

The Auto Hold is useful when you’re at a drive through and don’t want to hold your foot down while idol-ing for a while. Each time you stop, you break and auto hold will start and hold for you. When you’re ready to go again, just tap the gas and pull forward. I didn’t think I’d use mine but it’s actually very useful!
Same. I have this on my Stinger and I use it all the time - especially in drive throughs

Don’t sleep on that auto brake hold feature. It’s my most used feature in my car. Stuck at a long red light? Stop and go traffic? Waiting in a drive thru? Use auto brake hold to give your foot a rest and just tap the gas when you’re ready to move again!
It’s an awesome feature!

It’s 🤩 The window lock you mentioned you were unsure of is a child lock so if you have kids in the back seats they can’t roll down the windows and open the doors on their own and the auto hold is nice if you drive in traffic and push the break all the way down firmly you can take your foot off the break until you press the gas. Hope that helps !

I know about the child lock, but just was not aware that the child door lock features are now accessible from the driver’s seat! It just makes me slightly paranoid to think about Uber/Lyft rides that have that feature hahaha

In SD. We have a 2021 black nightfall Telly - love it! We ordered in June and got it in Sept. (So lucky!) The lock out button on the side for doors/windows is to keep kids from opening them. There is a button near the mirror adjustors that will release tucked in mirrors if they don't release. If you move them manually, they may tuck in. A bison moved ours in Custer State park and we found out how to release them. Lol ENJOY!

I just purchased my 2021 Telluride SX Prestige in everlasting silver. I'm in love with mine too 😍. Drives like a dream. I got lucky with mine. A lady had put her order in for it a yr ago. When they sent it in to the dealership, they sent an extra one identical to the one she ordered. So my dealership called me to let me know they had "accidentally" got sent a second one if I was interested. So I came home with it that day! And they didn't charge over MSRP either, so was my lucky day I guess 🤗
