I would love to see a tutorial on how to texture paint realistic human skin.
Perfect. Everything I sculpt ends up looking like an alien anyway. lol
😆 yea mine too... until i took his first scene creation in 2.8 tutorial.
@@kushagrabajpai__ I saw post on Instagram "3DArtio", he shared some stories on sculpting tutorials. CZcams Channel "3DArtio" will be making Realistic and Stylized sculpting tutorials in blender, beginners and advanced levels, subscribe to "3DArtio" now. Currently he made some basic but great time-lapses, he will be making premium quality sculpting contents like ZBrush in Blender for free.
Another masterpiece from the legend
I've seen many sculpting video suggestions for blender without really looking into it yet. Seeing one from Grant however, means it will be accessible, clear and instructional in an easy to follow along kind of way. Guess I'm making my first alien head tonight :)
Thanks :)
You don't make it LOOK easy, you MAKE IT easy, thanks brother.
This might be my best subscription so far, i'm learning so much i don't remember when i subscribed but i'm glad i did
Hi Grant, first off Good to see your feeling better enough to release another great video. You have got my into blender as I have a 3d printer and want to create my own models. Keep yourself safe and making more great informative videos.
Awesome only found your tutorials yesterday, very clear and easy to follow. Much appreciated.
Grant you make it look super easy, barely an inconvenience! Awesome tutorial and hope you are feeling better :D !!
I've done three months in blender thanks to your tutorials. I've been trying Houdini for the last couple of days. Although it's got great things that blender doesn't have, whenever I watch another blender tutorials I just want to stick with it and forget everything else.
very nice and simple - and the texture node setup at the end is great thing to learn from! Thanks!
Great sculpting tutorial Grant. Thanks for sharing.
This came out really nice, love the subsurface scattering on the guy!
Thanks a bunch!
I only recently got into blender and my god your videos are a massive help!! Love your videos! Great work and huge respect!!!
Great to hear!
Hellooow and welome to Gabbit media....
Its like u use recorded voice for this line as everytime it sounds exactly the same..😆😆

I too agree with you............
😅

Another amazing tutorial! I can't thank you enough for these!
Fam I love your channel, I learned how to use blender for modelling from you, and now I can learn sculpting too!
Hey Grant!
You're one of the modellers I've been learning from and I have gained enough confidence to start my own channel!
Big personal thankyou! Your videos rock! :)
Great to hear!
Nice to see you're better
The way you explain is clear and easy to follow for complete beginners.. Coronavirus is a blessing in disguise for me ..if not for this lockdown and all .. I wouldn't have discovered Blender and your channel
thank you i get knowledge about sculpting i make a alien but the alien looking soo nice thank you Grant abbit
Awesome Grant.
been waiting for this kind of vid! Thanks brodah!
You are back....love to see you explain things...
Loved it mate, exactly what I was looking for :)
Very cool tuto ! Thanks a lot !
You helped me learn sculpting in blender thanks.
You are extremely talented, I love your job.
Thank you so much!
Thank you, your tutorials are really helpful!
I've tried working with Zbrush for years and haven't had a model come out looking this good. Maybe Blender is my new sculpting program? Great tutorial Grant.
Was going to start sculpting your video came video thanks very much sir
Many thanks for the tutorial! Even I used ZBrush to test it, I could use many of the techniques and tools of your tutorial there 1 to 1! You explain very good and don't miss keys to press or how to change parameters, as many other tutorial-makers do. Good job! I am a beginner with such tools, but have some basic knowledge in 3D from playing with Lightwave for 20 years. I'm only a hobbyist with no commercial use.
Thats a cool Alien and i specialy love the fleshy skin material!
Thx so much, your tutorial come at the best time for me, thanks you 🙏
Wow, straight out of the Mos Eisley cantine on Tattoine!
Glad to see you're feeling better :)
very helpful, thanks for this tut
This helped me immensely!
Great content! Love your videos.
Большое спасибо ! Все понятно и без лишних слов, хороший урок/пример ;)
u just made my workflow so smooth . Thanks Gabbit please make a video on texture
Great as always
Really looking forward to work on it! :)
I normally never leave comments but was so impressed with this video and something that I learned, that Ihad to leave a comment... and many thanks!
Thank you very much for these wonderful beginner tutorials. I've recently taken up Blender again after several start up attempts in the past but gave up after getting lost so easily and early. But with your style and approach to tutorials, it is very easy to follow along and learn. What makes it even better is that you easily make mention of what the tools are, what you can do with them and WHY.. I learned the difference between the Grab and Snake tool, why Snake tool is preferred over the Grab tool in some / most cases (adds topo). JUST that one little tidbit of information now makes my modelling attempts a lot better looking. I'm learning to create objects and props to import as .obj into my favourite 3D software.
Again, my thanks for making these tutorials available for people to learn.
Cool 😃😃
Very instructive ! Thx 🙏
Amazing tutorial!
Bro you made look so simple.🔥 Damn this is the workflow that o need to use to. I have been strugling to creation of characters. I wasnt even sure what software should i go through for characters. Maya is not for characters, zbrush too hard but this. Blender sculpting is looks amazing. I can add some good characters on my porfolio finally!
Glad to hear your voice 😌👍
Thank you so much sir❤️
didn't know this option of detail flood fill , thanks again for your video ( hope you are better now )
Here's my support 😍
Owsm waiting for next tutorial.
thank you! i knew dyntopo was a thing, but i could never turn it on! this was so helpful.
Thank you for making this video.... I was very bad in blocking out 😞 but after this video I'm feeling confident.... And waiting for livestream 😁😁
A great tutorial. More! :)
Great video! I enrolled in the gamedev.tv course. I hope to conquer the retopology beast.
nice :)
Love it!
Merci that you exist!
looking forward to buying the Character Course
nice :)
I made an alien like this one by attempting to make a hl2 combine helmet
There were two options on Udemy on scalpting (best sellers). I saw Grant, I'm like, going with him for sure. Because he has a relaxing voice and no unnecessary comments. Of course, he is a good teacher. See you there...
Thanks 🙂👍
Now that’s cool.
Thanks😊
SUBSCRIBED! VERY GOOD CONTENT!
This is great
great tutorial grant :)
Glad you think so!
I learn now thanks dude

Amazing
Hello, firstly thank you very much for the vid and also you seem healthy (I refer to your youtube post where you were explaining that you had some breathing issues), it is really reassuring ;) btw your videos are so motivating !
Thanks
Thanks
Awesome
¡Gracias!
This is helpful
Good job👍
Thanks
Thank you .
You are welcome!
The good thing is that even if you miss your human sculpt or you're not good enough to make well done human face, you can still make a good alien...
So this is what happens when you combine Zoidberg with Squidward, huh
Squidberg!... Or Zoidward.
Its really a great exercise to practice strethening your skills sir! Looks awesome!!
Thanks for the amazing tutorial, but can you also please upload a tutorial as to how to texture realistic skin in blender easily? I need that urgently, and I trust you a lot
i cant get to it quickly as i have lots do unfortunately
Hi! I have a question!! If we sent you in some reference images (such as a front and a side), would it be possible for you to give a tutorial about how to model it? I love your work! keep it up
i am very thanful to you to make this tutorial videos
It's my pleasure
Nice
This was a great video, could you do some more like these?
Definitely!
Grant you're so good at modeling, so maybe try something new, like modeling a detailed and realistic Ferrari Portofino. It'd be a great new skill to learn and it'd be really helpful. Please create an in depth tutorial playlist on that, thank you
great tutorial grant :) but grrrosss!
Thanks! 😃
Whats interesting is that, Grant Abbitt going through the comment section and replying or liking all comments. Very respectful and caring man. We all agree that you don't have to do this as it takes your time.(¬‿¬)😍
:)
@@grabbitt 😀😊
Nice monster grant! Should we put somewhere in the discord what we're doing?
the 3d section. Make sure you tag me :)
This is good. I have trouble controlling resolution in blender sculpt. It gets messy. Zbrush has better resolution control.
Glad to see you're better again.🙏
Coming from C4D , is there any option to go up and down your resolution of the mesh while painting? Or is it always a destructive process in Blender?
not with the dyntopo only multires which is a different workflow form this
@@grabbitt Alright Thanks so much. Would love to see the sculpted mesh->retopo_>rigging workflow in Blender and pros/cons of Dyntopo vs MutliRes.. Cheers
Can you make a tutorial on full retopology of the sculpted mesh???
I'm a try this and try to give it a body as well.
Hi Grant! Loved the tutorial. Been wanting to try and give sculpting a go for the first time. I followed this all the way through just as I did with all the tutorials. Amazing video. Is there a place we can share our work?
Also, my other question is, and its probably a silly one, but how do we add more objects to the sculpture and sculpt that object along with the current one? Or is it better to just sculpt with the default one and spread it out?
I only ask this because I want to try and sculpt some cartoony characters in the future when I get better...
share work on the discord - link in the description
Great tutorial!
You are the best!
Can you explain how to bake the procedural texture of blender and export it to Unity?
Thank you!
see my baking playlist
cool
hi grant please i have a question . i'm creating a character for games 3D , my characher has 49 000 vertices and the clothes around 40 000 vertices , is it too much ? and if is too much how i can reduce the number of vertices (is it okay to use the decimate modifer ?) i hope i didn't confuse .
its ok for a very high end game otherwise you will have to retopo
Wow your udemy tutorial is longer than I expected 🤣
Hey grant! how you've been lately? are you feeling better?
Hi Grant Abbit can you make it a series I am stucked in sculpting in the middle of ok looking face but not more than that ... I want to know the Boolean workflow for sculpting , and as sculpting is absolutely new to me , so I don't know what to practice and how to practice ...btw can I share my artwork with you
Thanks A lot Grant. Just curious, where is the 'multiply' node shown at the end of the video?
Under mix rgb
How can you actually move? When I use the recommended keys (the ones at the bottom of the screen) it doesn't really work.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! One issue I'm having is I get these waves of lines across some of my faces when pulling things out using snake hook. Smoothing helps a little bit, but doesn't smooth it entirely. What could be happening here?
Unsure about that
Hi grant. My computer has intel i5 hexacore 16gb ram and 6gb vram the problem I'm facing is I get so far into sculpting that after a while my computer doesn't respond and the screen goes really bright almost white. Is there a setting I can use to stop it crashing basically.
Just keeping the poly count down is your best option
