@@JasonAtlasthat doesn't help level out the audio between tommo and other youtubers. his audio is always significantly quieter, if he turned it up it would solve the whole problem, not just the loud ads problem.
I've unfortunately only been able to listen to you on Spotify, hearing the Minton sighting does no justice, than seeing the real thing. Love Minton he's so chill 😎. This is probably going to be a redbull dominated race. Max is going to have a real Bee in his bonnet.
Hoping for a ferrari banger team. And as an LH fan, hoping he has a good weekend. Props to Max for responding the way he did and giving credit where it's due for Lando's win.

Thoughts on the albons Williams contract extension? Personally I think it is good to stick around being the number 1 driver at a team that has funding and can build around him, being under less pressure compared to being a number 2 and competing with either max or George. However with the amount of experienced drivers looking for a drive and young drivers coming through e.g. bearman, Lawson, antonelli, in case Williams doesn't improve he risks being forgotten in the midfield for drives beyond 2026.
basically Albon admitting hes not top driver material and is going for the comfortable life in F1. But I do get it, he already tried at the top and it almost cost him his entire career.
I feel like Max still has this driver’s championship in the bag (I’m very much open to being wrong but I think that’s how it’ll play out). But the constructor’s could be a different story if McLaren and Ferrari’s (perhaps even Aston) upgrades deliver against the Red Bull
Tommo is just biased againts Checo, even in 2022 when Ferrari was way more competitive RedBull got the WCC, and he didnt even watch the whole races, in Miami Perez had bad luck with the VSC and the SC

I think you're spot on re: Checo. It got swept under the rug that, as soon as McLaren & Ferrari were competitive, he was beefing McLaren whilst they were all faster.
They in fact arent, the cars are faster, Tommo is just biased because he is a Daniel fan. Even in 2022 when the Ferrari was faster the first half of the season, RedBull got the WCC
This was always going to happen once the rest caught up. Going to be a tough season for Checo here on out.

I think it would have made sense to bring upgrades to Spain due to the pre-season testing being held there previously. That way they'd have something to gauge them against. Now testing is in Bahrain there's no specific benefit to dropping upgrades at Spain so the sooner the better then becomes the target
With Mclarens and Ferraris upgrades, my heart says another non red bull victory. But my head remembers the last 2 times Max 'lost' a race, and came back to dominate the next weekend

This is where the upgrades come in as we are in Europe and near factory's. The big 3 (Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes) Have monster budgets to bring stuff in sooner. But the mid pack to the back the budgets and resources are tighter. So we will see cars evolve and improve as we enter the core or mid season point in Europe. Because it is harder to ship stuff to the fly away locations. I love Imola as it has lots of elevation changes unlike typical tracks that are flat with gentle slopes.

That probably is a bad weekend for Max, if the expectation is that you win every race
Plus he made a mistake which hurt his performance for the rest of the race

Considering he got both poles, won the sprint, and only lost the race to a faster Mclaren and a lucky SC, I would not call that a bad weekend at all.

Max is the rainmaster, if there is rain, Max is probably going to win it with a huge gap. Why would Piastri win in the rain? Nothing has indicated he is all that good in the rain, nothing at all.

Not quite sure why you think Doriltons money is a factor. They are obviously doing the same shit as Gene Haas and not providing the team enough money to progress. If Doriltons money was a factor, they would not have been without the spare chassis.
Red bull are almost halfway to being mathematically impossible to beat in the constructors championship.
Aston Martin had good in season upgrades in 2022. The AMR22 was just absolutely trash at the start, which is a shame because it looked amazing.

Very skewed chat predictions, Lance is on a (slight) up and Logan's on a pretty convincing downward spiral.
Actually, Logan had one of his best weekends last weekend. He beat Albon in sprint qualifying, finished a good P10 in the sprint, and was matching Albon's pace before Magnussen lost his brain.
Logan has been matching Albon all season though (?). He's on an upwards trajectory if anything lol
Every race he's finished he was the last car except once this season. Although I supposed I could try and see that as an upwards trend if I squint hard enough.

@@saint-cardboard Sure, downward spiral might be harsh, but he is definitely not on the up. He's had bad luck, but so has Stroll, the difference being Lance has occasionally been able to turn a weekend without bad luck into a decent result. Logan hasn't. Convincingly P21 on a 20 car season.
