Im a big Titans fan. Im from the Sip (Mississippi) but live in Texas now but win lose or draw, I'll always be a die heart Titan. The things McNair did in Tennessee, I saw at Alcorn State University as a teenager. It was no surprise to what he could do once in the league. Like most, just needed the opportunity to prove it.... This is awesome Tennessee Titans first 20 years 1999-2018 we were good at times we had 164 wins close to top 10 in wins and had some playoff success as recently as 2017 winning at Arrowhead vs Chiefs. We also have had 3 straight winning seasons. Plenty of good players Steve McNair,Eddie George,Derrick Mason,Samari Rolle,Jevon Kearse,Chris Johnson,Nate Washington,Delanie Walker,Taylor Lewan,Marcus Mariota,Derrick Henry,Jurrell Casey,etc.
It is an honor to LOVE the Tennessee TiTANS!

Man, I sure do hope we get to see the titans lift the Lombardi trophy one day!! I remember I was in the third grade when the Oilers moved to Tennessee. I was a cowboys fan because of my dad, but once Tennessee got us a pro football team, I said to hell with the cowboys, because my home state finally had a football team! And I’ll be a titans fan from that day forward, until the day I die! Oh how I love me some Titans football!

Commentating is often an unappreciated thing. But as a non titans fan I appreciate Mike Keith. He's awesome. Really cool that he's still doing. He was the one the called the Music City Miracle back in 1999, 22 years ago.

The Titans did very well for their first 20 years in Nashville winning 164 games which was four games from closing in on the top 10 in wins from 1999-2018. Dallas was 10th with 168 wins and rounding out the top 10 were Patriots,Steelers,Colts,Packers,
Eagles,Broncos,Ravens, Seahawks,Saints and Cowboys.

Love this video you did a well thought out put together vid of the most important moments in the Titans first 20 years. Not many know this but during our first 19 years we have won 155 games,3 games from 10th place where Dallas is with 158 wins. 2018 is our 20th year and we have a chance to be top 10 in wins overall 1999-2018 if we do well in 2018.

The eagles are my number 1 favorite team bc my dads an eagles fan and I’ve just grown up watching and cheering for them since I was little but anyways I live in Nashville and have been watching and cheering for the titans too for as long as I can remember. Unless the titans are playing the eagles I’m cheering for them every Sunday to win during football season and this video was awesome. Brought back a lot of memories

You know people seem to forget about this but during the first 10 years of the 21st century (2000-2009), the Titans were the most fun team to watch in the NFL (whether they made the playoffs or not). But second decade of this century (2010-2019) was a little rough: they went 5-27 over a timespan of two seasons, they lost 11 straight games against the Colts, five different head coaches, they had five 9 win seasons but only two of them led to postseason runs, and zero AFC South titles won. Hopefully, the 2020s will be a little more kinder to the boys in Music City. But the Titans are the most disrespected team in the NFL. It's like no matter what they do, the Titans will always be overshadowed by something the Colts or the Texans do. In fact, the Titans don't even get any respected in their own state. They are the third most popular team in the state of Tennessee behind a college football team three hours east of Nashville who for the last 12 years has been less than or equal to mediocre. And the Titans are also less popular behind a hockey team in which most Tennesseans (both inside and outside of the Nashville TV Market viewing area) had no idea existed until 1. They made it to a Stanley Cup Final and 2. Their star player was married to one of Nashville's biggest Country Stars. So here's to better days for the Titans franchise.

The Super Bowl heartbreak was not needed
Hopefully the 2020s will be better for the Titans than the 2010s. From 2000 to 2009, the Titans were the most fun team to watch in the NFL. They might not have went to the playoffs every season, but they were still fun to watch. The 2010s hasn't been so kind to them. 5 different head coaches, a combined record of 5-27 during 2014 and 2015, 2 playoff appearances, 11 straight loses to the Colts, and 0 wins against Andrew Luck when starting for the Colts. The Titans are the 3rd most popular team in the state of Tennessee behind a college football team 3 hours east of Nashville who has been less than or equal to mediocre for 12 years now and a hockey team who most people outside of the Nashville TV market didn't know existed until they made it to the Stanley Cup Finals and their star player married a country singer. I think and hope that the Tennessee Titans become a force to be reckoned with.
Rob Bironas (kicker) is buried here in Nashville. Although not a very extravagant memorial stone he is in the company of George Jones (legendary country singer) who purchased a bunch of plots for others to be buried there also. It is at Woodlawn memorial gardens.
