    Get the highly processed food out of your diet. Walking 5 miles a day is key. Running will burn off your muscle. Nitric oxide promoting food. Beets, blueberries, spinach with fresh lemon juice on it. Got my blood pressure from 170/90 to 120/70. 💪🏼💪🏼

      Fine but I am a bit confused about the levels of Agoric acid in spinach, kale and other greens which are reportedly pro-inflamitory. NO itself is inflammatory according to some reports. We can't live with no NO, so something is out of order here. Perhaps you can elucidate but if too busy that's Okay too.

      @@WILLIAMMALO-kv5gz Ive never heard of Agoric asid. Do you mean Oxalic asid? Too much of that can give you kidney stones if your susceptibility is high. Thus the lemon juice or cook it.

    Eat a pound or two of fish twice a week too. That's fish, because your omega 3 capsules may contain harmful rancid oil, and the selenium in fish like salmon or tuna helps get rid of heavy metals.
    But if you suspect high heavy metal exposure, stick with safer fish like sardines, anchovis, trout, salmon.
    Never farmed fish though.
    Just my 2 cents.

      Understand, I eat wild salmon or other wild fish several times a week, but you realize that the fish you & I eat are also contaminated by heavy metals and chemicals - perhaps more than supplements that have been processed, and maybe, to some extent, purified.

      Nope new research says according Dr Rhonda that omega 3 in fish the EPA & DHA protect fish from metals mercury & toxins. But still reccomend eating only wild Salmon Mackarel & sardines anchovies. Less mercury problems to start with so fish protects from toxicity. BTW I don't eat fish but due take Omega 3s do your research. My bio markers for Triglycerides went from 155 to 78 to 45. 😊

      I would eat Salmon twice a week too ... if I could afford it
      Sticking to Omega capsules and occasional mackrel and pickled hering (both fatty fish) that are way way cheaper than salmon.
      But Omega capsules are just so much easier on a normal 12+ hr work day (2+1 hr transport, 1 hr workout, 8 hr work).
      I will admit that if I had more discipline, I could eat mackrel more often at 200 gram for $2 but it just isn't a routine atm.

    Despite being a 57 yr old arthritis patient I use a treadmill daily but i also do "3 minute on and 60 second break" shadow boxing rounds to my favourite music.
    I do up to 10 rounds like this 2-4x a week and it's been excellent. There are other days I use a heavy bag or a focus ball as well. This has helped me get back into shape well enough to resume teaching martial arts a couple of years back and despite some mileage* related aches and pains I still feel pretty great most days.

    I think something you said in the beginning makes sense.
    I'm a sedentary person due to my occupation. However, I train 3 times a day, eat clean and take a bunch of supplements. People say I look 10-15 years younger. My age mates all greyed, while I didn't. I think this is because I haven't been exposed to "life" as many. I don't have to rush for anything and live indoors like a house cat without stress. I think that "live like a turtle" motto has some merit.

      Cats really know how to live. They are happier going outdoors though. My mum had a sayimg 'busy as a cat in a garden'. They love investigating stuff & find all the best napping spots.

    I have a sauna. When people say, oh I want one but can’t afford it. I shake my head. They can afford a vacation, eat out, etc etc. it’s all priorities.

      💯 agree. My IR sauna is probably the best investment I’ve ever made. I don’t eat out at all as hard to guarantee is healthy and I go out motorcycle hols around Western Europe (I’m UK based) and buy food from markets/local shops and eat it in my hotel room or a park etc. My hols are super good value for money and I get to visit loads of places for 1-3 days over a couple of weeks.

    Mackerel cakes (almond flour, egg binder) fried in coconut oil on a bed fresh mixed greens, crumbled goats cheese, avocado slices, boiled egg, bacon bits tossed in a EVOO/ACV lemon ginger vinaigrette. Enjoy.

      ​@@byenzer5101Absolutely! Try to find a good quality brand if you can. I typically go through 4-5 cans to make 8-10 decent sized cakes. Optionally, if you want to get fancy (like for a proper dinner service) try pressing the mackerel mix into a circular cookie cutter for uniform size. You can find stainless steel sets online for cheap. Enjoy!

      Sounds lovely, but may I suggest avoiding almonds and almond flour due to their oxalate content? Look up Sally Norton here on YT, she's the author of Toxic Superfoods. Wish I'd come across her before I damaged my kidneys with almond milk and spinach!!

    Great info. Pro-tip for wrinkled clothes: You can grab a spray bottle with water and give it a couple quick sprays right before you put it on and it will help those wrinkles come out. It's not quite as good as using an iron, but is much faster and gets you 75% of the way there.

    Can you clarify or make a video that is clearer on the benefits of infrared sauna vs. the conventional heat sauna. I know you lightly touched on the topic in a previous video. However, it wasn't in-depth or crystal clear on when and what to use an infrared sauna for vs. a conventional sauna for.

    I struggle with this, I have rheumatoid arthritis and I’m on biologicals to dampen my immune response to my condition. I’m trying to stay away from foods that cause inflammation, red meat is one, fried food, processed foods is hard because most food these days have gone through some sort of process in a way to make it what it is. Ready made meals I stay away from, apparently I shouldn’t eat bread or anything gluten. Mediterranean diet was recommended, no omega 6 but plenty of omega 3. Annoyingly a lot of the foods I should eat are now expensive, I tried fasting but I get jittery and really irritable which I suspect is insulin related possibly.

      Eat plaintains & broccoli sprouts to detoxify body to battle crohns disease . Stop eating processed foods watch out for flu shots vaccines they have polysorbate 80 or related ingriendients. It caused holes in intestines & allowed ecoli to get in there & cause your Crohns disease according to Dr Ardis. Last part is dealing with psuederine . Do your research unsure about that part.

    Thomas you are awesome! But please invest in some sound absorbent 6-8” thick panels and place them on your ceiling. And add some thick carpet to your floors. This will help eliminate that crazy room reverb which is distracting when trying to listen to what you are saying in these videos.

    The other way to modulate cold exposure is to only use moderate temperatures, like in the 50s. I do 48 to 50 for three or four minutes. I’m definitely not shivering through any of the process. And as for sauna being expensive, those silly looking IR tents that your head sticks out of are reasonable. And since you can get your hands out the slots, you can read or scroll on a device. The blankets seem limiting….

    We are frugivores Tom. The majority of our stress comes from pretending we’re not.
    Everything we eat that isn’t whole, raw fruit or soft and tender greens, is causing us mitochondrial stress more than anything else on large scale.

    The only proven way to reduce inflammation that worked for me was cutting out all plant food. No I am not saying all plant food is bad for inflammation but it is difficult to pin the blame for it on any one plant food. Seed oils may be the worst as with all other highly processed food. But even other plant foods touted as healthy may contain toxins like gluten, oxalates, phytates, lectins etc which damage your digestive system and your mitochondria.

      Just cook/steam your veg, it gets rid of most of the 'toxins'. Also the 'toxins' in small amounts are actually good for us.

      It's not a question of how long you do it, it's how intensely you're doing it.
      If you're just cycling and still able to talk and not sweating, you're not doing anything intensely.
      Intensity is measurable by effort, not duration.
      An intense workout will raise your heart rate, make you sweat and push your cardio to where you're almost not able to breathe enough.
      Intensity is effort, you shouldn't need to ask what is an intense type of workout. Anything can be elevated to intense by going either heavier resistance or faster movement until your body is pushing its physical limits.
      Anything can be done casually if you're not feeling any difficulty, your heart stays normal and you can talk without effort.

    My weird thing that I do for hermetic stress is a 1 capsule of .1 milligrams of Melittin (bee venom) 3 to 5 days a week. I got into it because as a type 1 diabetic I looked at many supplements and their effects. Bee venom seemed to address the most issues. There could be a downside but I feel great and I have dropped my insulin use.

      The polysorbates? They're emulsifiers. They're in processed foods, some pharmaceuticals, and in some make-ups. Read labels.

    Most effective way to drop systemic inflammation:
    1) reduce visceral fat
    Anything that leads to this outcome will reduce systemic inflammation, and is ideally a combination diet and exercise. More muscle mass absorbs more inflammation, cardio helps flush inflammation out. A good diet can help prevent inflammation from building up in the first place.

    Just for fun, so to speak: according to the Rgveda (rig-veda, with a long e-sound, like in German 'eh', in, say, Lehrer) drinking soma (~ saw-muh?) can make one immortal (a-mRta, amrita): apaama somam, amRtaa abhuuma - we drank soma, we bacame immortal! But WTF is soma? Nobody seems to know for sure! According to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, one's body may be able to make it. Seem to recall, according to the book Mechanics of Enlightenment, Maharishi suggested that soma might be serotonin, which an enlightened individual uses differently from us "mortals"?? -- Greetings from Finland, from a Sanskrit and (mainly Biblical) Hebrew freak!
