Simon and Heidi don’t understand how hard it is to play the soprano sax in tune, which he actually does. To play from the bottom to the top of the register of this instrument in tune and keeping a homogeneous sound is a beast of a task which he has mastered. So sad that these judges don’t understand this. Maybe they’ll read my comment and learn.

Fun fact: I first met B. at IU Bloomington during his freshman year. He told me his goal was to perform on the big stage with some of the biggest stars. I told him that college wasn’t the place for him because it would only be holding him back. This was my advice to B. because school would only teach him a curriculum, which I knew that his talent overshadowed any basic college curriculum. I later found out that he left IU to purse his solo music career. As of today, B. has played sax for Kenny G, Babyface, Toni Braxton and some other heavy hitters in the music industry. I know a star when I see one! Continue to represent well for the 317! Congrats B.!!!

Yep I went to hs with him happy he's reaching for the sky! Agt is just more exposure he's auditioned before and didn't make it this time they invited him to play! He's already accomplished so much hopefully this keeps opening more doors for him!

AGT need real life judges who know about real music. It’s a shame when the audience has more appreciation for the artist than the judges🙄

T H I S said this for years. They should have a judge for music, for danger acts, maybe an athlete..anything besides the current panel. I love them but they have no right judging most of these acts🙃

I am usually into a drummer but there are now two gentlemen that play the sax that I love and that is Kenny G and B. Thompson. Very smooth and had me grooving in my wheel chair!! Give us more and Peace B!

Out of all the auditions he my favorite so far the two judges Heidi and Simon they're kind of crazy He's very talented not easy to play that instrument in tune I play a trumpet and high school
