Laskyar Ruins also have one of those little underground rooms with a chest that contains the Wraith Calling Bell!

Thop's barrier is a really great ash of war to put on medium shields that causes the parry animation to be similar to the small shield / buckler. It also costs 0 FP and you keep the 100 physical damage negation with the normal affinity.

I think I found something good! Smash all the cargo/boxes along the wall of Putrified Ruins and there is a set of stairs down a cellar. Couple of of good items in there including a Two Fingers Talisman!
You said to go south east after the ruins to find the spirit spring that's the wrong one it's on the south west side i spent 30 min trying to figure out why my jump just led to a grace

You still missed Lakeside Crystal Cave, I can't see it on your map. It's just west of Laskyar Ruins, Gideon tells you about it if you show him the medallion you got from Village of the Albinauracs.

And yeah it's a pretty important cave that kicks off Latenna's questline.

Took me 3 playthroughs to find that cave its crazy how there's so many things that u can miss
At the end when he said "WE have finished..." I felt that because he lead me through the entire thing
See. This is why I keep back tracking, even without a guide. 110+hours and I only just killed Morgot. The exploration is just insane in how they have made you curious as a player. Witcher 3 world was amazing but i didn't search around like Elden Ring. It's a very special game. One of my all time favourite games ever, now.
Cleared Limgrave, peninsula and the lakes. Only just killed Radahn after 125 hours and I still have plenty of Caelid to discover.
I am taking my time exploring and backtracking like yourself. Its the way this game should be played. People finishing the game within 150 hours are not fully experiencing what it has to offer.
@@Insp.CountMortisWinshipKlaw 100%! Cheers man, Today, after reading online I heard about the well in Leyndell you can drop down into to get to the sewers and catacombs. I went past that well so many times and didn't see it. And that whole place was huge and absolutely tormenting, this game is only getting better and better the more you play. I'm 125 hrs in now and I feel like I'll hit 200 before I'm done, easy.
I love watching your vids after I clear an area. There’s always heaps I miss and these vids help me tidy things up! Your enthusiasm is infectious. Great work!

its not a big deal in legacy dungeons
this game is massive so "go a little south" get me lost everytime especially if you get distracted which is so easy on this game xD

Everyone probably already knows this already, but just in case, those grafted enemies that spawn out of the ground can be killed pretty easy with the Faith Heal incantation

Was just about to comment this. Yeah I'm doing a strength/faith build and two heal casts kills them. There's insane range on the heal spell, too.
These videos have become what I watch at work the day after I complete an area. I actually did pretty well clearing Liurnia and the academy!

You missed a Larval Tear. Near the middle of the lake, there's a group of giant lobsters. IIRC, one of the lobsters to the north of the group will spawn a Grafted Scion when defeated. Kill the Grafted Scion, and get a Larval Tear (Respec material)
Tht lobs is pain in the ass after it turn in to something else
Hey Dom, thanks for all your videos so far. I never really played any of the Souls games so Elden Ring was the first one I actually got into and stayed committed to. I feel like that has a lot to do with your videos as they are great bite-sized content to have on your second monitor as you're going through the different areas. So what I'm saying is... Your videos kept me from giving up on Elden Ring and made me fall in love with the lore, combat and atmosphere of FromSoftwares games. Keep it up!

Damn Liurnia is such a great place, i think i spended the most time there, just running around the swamp and hills. Also if you`ll do a video later about this place again, can you please add Latenna starting qestline, its not a huge quest but the reword is cool
I make it a point to always visit your video after clearing an area myself. It allows me to enjoy the game while I explore the area for the first time. And revisit again with your help just to clear the map as I’m guaranteed to always miss something !
Love this series! I come and watch these videos once I finish the section in the game to see all that I missed, I totally passed Jarburg without noticing! I'm glad that you mentioned it in this video because otherwise I would have missed out on it entirely.
This was probably my favorite area. Not overly unbalanced, fair difficulty, great atmosphere and variety.

I'm a shield and spear user so that fire thief in the gaol was my worst nightmare since he uses a flail. Flails are THE anti shield weapon in the game, any two hits in a row from a flail will stance break a shield user. Plus flails can't be parried and can't be guard countered either since they don't bounce off a shield. This works for you too, if you're having trouble with a shield user, try a flail. Like the Moongrum carian knight that always parries you in Raya Academy, the crucible knights or the regular knight captains.
The flail is the best weapon against the fire thief in my experience. I had the Nightrider Flail with the default Spinning Chain skill.
Just use the skill continuously on the Fire Thief as he spawns and the poor fella will die by stun lock.

Hi dom im getting into Elden ring ive had it since release and stopped playing after it became impossible but with your supercuts of different areas you have made it so much easier and entertaining and good look on this jorney as your vids are top notch keep it up brother and as crimbo arrives more and more peeps will come to your vids for that exceptional knowledge

I really like your videos. I normally play and explore on my own first. Then once my patience runs out I watch your videos to see if there is something worth going back to. I really like the way you keep NPC quest lines spoiler free. I wish there was a way to export these tips into some notes format so that I can look them up in my phone while playing. Its cumbersome to seek back and forth in the phone's youtube app while playing.

Man, thank you so much for your awesome videos. I'm at level 130, around 150 hours of 'work', I now just reached the snow area....
... I tried to visit every single inch of the different areas...but after watching your videos, I realize there are a bunch of areas , items, etc, that I totally skipped...
There even are new areas that I never had the chance to find and visit...
The ps5 says '50%' completion. Don't know how much content that represents, but... so far, I only have 2 special runes... and it looks like there are 12 slots, so... that means there still are at least 10 major bosses related to the main story ? I will wait and see :)
Again, thanks for these videos. I hope you will have the courage and time to make other similar '... things you probably missed in xyz areas videos.

Love these videos. I’ve finished stormveil castle and I’m working on the academy now. I Fucking love the atmosphere inside the academy more than any other in the game so far. I’ve beaten the red wolf, on my way to Rennala.

Something to note - After I beat Raudann, Alexander was missing from his Liurnia location - but I did find him in the Volcano Manor location which I had already unlocked 👍

Just an FYI - In pretty much every single ruins there is a set of stairs leading down to a chest. Every single ruins that I have come across has at least one of these rooms. Many are hidden, some locked behind a key, others bosses, and some are just wide open. Some ruins have 2 of these underground rooms. So if you haven’t found this room in your ruins then it is not complete.
So the ruins where you fought that pain in the butt mini-boss there is also a room underneath that can easily be missed
Secret floors man… so easy to miss
The ruins near that giant blacksmith who sells the stones , that one i did not saw any stairs just an invisible wall to pass to hes side.

I agree with the game looking amazing, I went through most of it pretty quick solo, but when my brother got in to it too and I started co op with him, I noticed a lot more as we were forced to walk through most of the story

If you ride west along the cliff side from Laskyar Ruins you’ll come across Lakeside crystal cave, once the cave is completed it’ll lead you out to the slumbering wolf shack & a grace plus a few items

Warning for anyone trying to do full 100% completion on quests. There's a bug (probably) where if you defeat all the area bosses in a region, none of the NPC invaders will spawn. This can lock you out of several quests and endings. IE: if you kill all the Liurnia region bosses, Vyke won't invade at the Church of Inhibition, and Edgar won't invade at the revengers shack. This will prevent you from finishing Hyetta's quest.
