My fight through the CAMEROON jungle continues [S7-E71]

- This is part 2 of the day that I tried to ride to Kribi, in Cameroon. The stretch between Loum and Yabassi turned out to be the most challenging riding I've ever done I think, and there is just no end to the extreme mud, water and steep climbs.. I'm starting to think I'm never getting out of this jungle!

At the bike-wash: Noraly says, "I went Loum Yabassi." The man asks, "You were there?" She nods. The man turns and calls out to someone, "She did Loum to Yabassi!" He turns back to Noraly and asks, "With this motorbike here?" Noraly says, "Yeah." Good to see her get the respect she so richly deserves!👍
It was so funy when dude replied with te camerounian accent :'' avè la moto-ci?'' 😅
I watched that part 5times !
@@chideraadah530 😂😂 Yeah so funny.
Oh my goodness! I had to repeat that part numerous times

Me and my 86 year old Mother have been watching you for years. This morning i told her you have a new video out, she got so excited and asked can we watch it now. You put a smile on our face with each new video. Thank you
Your mum sounds really cool 💐
@@hodaka1000 she is.. our family grew up riding in the desert, she rode too. My sister had a hodaka super rat. Thank you for your kind words.

Excellent, give her a kiss on the forehead for me and say g'day from Australia
I miss my mum
@@chipv.4585 oh wow a hodaka! haven't heard that name in ages. was my 2nd bike.
My nine year old and I got this ritual too 🙂
Once again: If there's anyone from Honda watching this adventure, Honda needs to sponsor Itchy Boots!
Really Honda has to encourage her travel by providing all help including provision of necessary spare parts and travel assistance wherever it is possible.
And Bridgestone tyre's too
Very True, actually Honda should give full sponsorship+goodies
@@technicalconsalts9743Isn’t she running a Pirelli front and a Dunlop rear though?
Yes id be interested to know what tyres
17:06 There guy's face when she said "Loum to Yabassi" 😟
🤣🤣🤣
That was my favorite scene in video!
I would be on the side of the road crying after everything noraly has endured riding through these treacherous roads with no much food for strength...she's definitely a superhuman
I would never have gone there in the first place. But this lady is so special nothing scares her. It's in her genes. @@Dipeshgiri7
I was going to say the same thing! 😢
Yes, superwomen actually 😳
you are so right i couldent do it and she is thinking about making videos as well WOW JUST WOW AND I LOVED THE LONG WAY ROUND HA HA HA JOKE
AGREED!
This channel is better than any documentary, and Noraly is such a tough and resilient person, it's fantastic. Thanks for bringing us such compelling content!
Any off-road motorcycle rider will appreciate how physically demanding this is!
Hats off you Noraly 😊
I'm not sure one needs to be a motorcycle rider to appreciate her journeys, truly incredible.
Am not a rider but do realize how demanding it is on arms and back.
Thank you for your unbeatable struggles through muddy jungles.
mentally as well ... She is mentally strong and always be positive .. not all rider even men can do that ..
It looks very challenging. Do what she did on a motorcycle and you will have an even greater appreciation for what she accomplished. It’s always easy watching, & it’s easy to say that looks tough, but doing what she just did takes a lot of skill, experience, wisdom, tenacity & guts. Been there, done that.
Noraly you have no idea the mental anguish you put us your viewers through in the last episode and this one. I am not sure any Hollywood thriller remotely comes close to the stories of your journeys, totally wonderful. An award must be created specially for you, honestly, you are amazingly incredible, much salute to you.
Love from ladakh vlogs ❤
I felt a lot of anguish and mental torture seeing Noraly on this jungle of Cameroon. Thumbs for you,Noraly.
Hollywood would never show how nice these people are cause USA is supposed to be the best
Everyone is dead as soon as they step in to Africa as they make you believe. We’re all zombies because everyone is dead.😂😂😂
Wow.. This woman stresses me out in a good way..And I still love her 😂😂🎉🎉
As a Cameroonian who has travelled through this roads on a road trip, these cameras do it no justice, it's far worst than what this camera shows, she's definitely got bones of steel! Keep going! Yes, Cameroonians are nice, that's the only positive to take away!
Why are the back roads so bad? Couldn't the villages along the path fill it with granite given that Cameron has mountains. Hopefully, the main routes are much more better.
Thank you for stating that lasliegeorges! The GoPro tends to level terrain. I know its always worse that it looks, even when it looks bad. Peace!
Nice - definitely! But also, resilient, resourceful, determined, patient!! and so many other things. As Noraly said to the daily biker - "Respect!" to Camaroonians! I'd love to visit your country some day - so beautiful altogether - but my 'adventure' travel days are over. Now just an 'armchair' voyageur. Merci pour tous!
@@adexdeo13a Be thankful (in whatever country we live) when we have infrastructure and stable government and get to pay taxes to keep it all running! yes?
@@adexdeo13asay it's corruption
Hats off to the locals who helped you out everytime. They didn’t think twice before getting dirty to help you.
The roads in Cameroon are not the best, so we are used to helping each other on the road.
yeaH they seem like very nice people, nice to see in such outa way place
Lived in Cameroon from '82-'84 and traveled as much bush as we could. Cameroonians were always the kindest without exception.
This is better than watching Africa through the BBC
I love that Noraly is a very ambitious and courageous lady but above all very humble. I liked the way she greets everybody and that part after they pushed her out of the mud pool where the vehicle was stuck and she stopped to thank them. Very heart warming. She is a super woman
Itchy Boots courage and tenacity leaves me speechless even as an African.
Africa is a continent not country 😮
Shout out to the men (at the stuck van) who completely entrenched themselves in waist deep mud to assist you. They were dressed so nice and travelers themselves, it appeared. I can only imagine the situation they had to endure being stuck on the side of the road in mud soaked clothes awaiting help for hours!
Lived in Cameroon from '82-'84 and traveled as much in the bush as we could. No internet, TV, satelite, phones, newspapers, etc., so very remote and cut-off from news and info which was a great experience. Cameroonians were extremely friendly and helpful just as was shown in these videos. Always willing to help, answer questions, etc. Never a bad experience. Makes me a bit homesick and brings back good memories.
This says a lot about how „the entertainment ( indoctrination ) industry“ has screwed with humanity!
We humans are wired to collaborate and support each other not to compete and cheat. The world is unfortunately run by psychopaths. I’ve been to 46 countries so far and Noraly is an amazing human being showing many people how different our world is from what many are taught.
@@melanielotos6139 Another person that recognizes what is really going on around us, stealing and selling personal info about each other is disgusting canniballistic behavior, aka patriot act, we are all supposed to support protect each other just like you said.
@@melanielotos6139 Not really. Human history is choke-full of atrocities toward each other.

Girl, that little Honda doesn't owe you a penny. It has given you every thing you could ask of it. I'm as impressed with the Honda as I am with you.
Well done Noraly, a perfect demonstration of how to ride in those difficult conditions. As a former motorcycle "Trials" rider, I can tell that your throttle and clutch control is spot on. It amuses me to read comments saying that she should "Gas" it to get through the mud..! It's obvious that with the deep ruts, and water filled ditches of unknown depth, this would lead to certain disaster. A broken or drowned motorcycle, or worst still a broken Noraly..!
Great comment. You speak Wisdom, unlike others we have seen! Peace!
There are nearly 2,000 comments on here, I had no idea that I’d replied to that many..So this must be 2,001..!
her dedication & spirit to ride till the end are purely respected. she is the queen of such extreme routes.
YOU ARE EXHUSTED. So am I ...... and I was only watching !!!!! I take my hat off to you Noraly !! You are a seriously tough lady ! Safe travels from New Zealand
The worst part of my day is when you say....with a smile "...so I am gonna end this video". Somehow, I don't want it all to end. It's fascinating, it's inspiring, it's amazing and it's tough. You are a fighter ma'am. One who carries a warm smile and chuckle for everyone they find. You one in a million. Keep them coming. We love you. We love them. . . A LOT!
Wow, what an epic journey. You know you did something big when the guy at the carwash yells to all his friends "she rode from Louma to Kribi by herself". You are the toughest, sweetest person on 2 wheels. And, you can tell all the locals really appreciate you and your respect for them and your constant smile. Be Safe!
Hats off to Noraly for taking on the toughest ride ever! She's not just a rider, she's a total warrior.
A good warrior chooses his or her battle wisely.
You're a genius!!! Half in the billions 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Are there any real roads in Cameroon? No use in owning an automobile there. Even a bicycle is not practical.
Noraly is a very brave and capable person.
Seriously, I can't imagine these roads as my local everyday routes. No disrespect at all, just unimaginable to this old guy where I'm from. Tip of the hat to the locals and their kindness for helping out and their advice. Bless you Noraly for being a great world citizen and expecting the best and getting it from most everyone you meet. I find it such an inspiration. Most media only chronicles the bad, yet here you are in the jungle, stuck on a muddy road, and where I come from they'd say in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Yet here you are with muddy Alaska in Cameroon. You are somewhere and the wonderful people of this place show up with kindness, willing hearts, and want to help. I can only deduct that the world is a far greater and a better place than we are often led to believe. Continued safe travels my dear online brave and traveling friend. Blessings!
This sort of adventure should be reserved for the DRY SEASON. Much easier.
In central Africa you cannot predict when dry season will be…🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Cameroon is a whole new level unlocked. Nice work Noraly . Welcome to Africa in Miniature. We have Savanna, Grasslands, Desert in the North, Plateau, Lakes, Oceans and many more amazing geological features for you to explore. Not forgetting tons of very delicious dishes (delicacies). And a big flex of Bilingualism
Exactly, except that Cameroon is Multilingual!
I don't know what to say - your remarkable determination, stamina, and seemingly inexhaustible enthusiasm on these "roads" , is astonishing. Quite how the locals do it everyday is staggering. ❤
What a terrific expedition this has turned out to be. This was perhaps the toughest I have ever seen you go through, Noraly. You can really gauge the toughness of the journey by seeing the reaction of the locals when they hear where you traveled from. Had it not been for you, I'd have never known such places and the resilience of the people in those places. You, yourself are such a resilient person! Most of us, including me, would have already given up in the face of those challenges. You're indeed an amazing inspiration to people all around the world
Noraly is a warrior, fighting these bad roads. Your channel is better than anything on TV. Respect to the locals ride this road everyday. Awesome people in Cameroon.
Thanks Noraly for being born with the guts I wasn't. Your travels are amazing. Be safe.
chriskane on Itchy Boots ! What a surprise 😀 ! Hi, dear friend 🙋♂. I`m watching Noraly since many years and I can proudly tell you, I have seen each episode on her channel.
Until next time, bye.
When God was handing out courage, Noraly received ten times the normal amount.
Now this is real tourism, getting the local experience and appreciate people's daily struggles in rural Africa, hats off to you Noraly for embracing the challenge
... there would be only muzak and no commentary if I rode there, Noraly's commentary is completely free of expletives, impressive :)
Hats off for you Noraly. Choosing the Loum-Yabassi track was insane and by doing that you have shown the world just how excellent a rider you are. Even the locals were stunned seeing such a performance from a super Lady. I am sure even the male riders will stand on their feet watching this episode. It was an amazing and daring adventure which you did with flying colors👌. Thank God for always sending help for you. We love you dear❤.
Noraly is the embodiment of what we call “a trooper.” Just unbelievable the tenacity of this woman.
Super trooper...

I grew up in Cameroon. Lovely country! The roads are just a part of the daily adventure , no tv or internet needed 😄
Until I started watching Noraly's channel, I could have never imagined "roads" in such conditions. From Central and South America to Africa. A daily challenge to ride a few kilometers. Amazing and to be able to narrate, record, edit, produce the story.... outstanding. Thanks, Noraly!
Yes she’s amazing! The total package!!
This stretch must have been toughest ride so far, hats off to grit and determination. Love from India 🇮🇳
I think ladakh is so good for rider.
And from East Tennessee
Glad you're back riding in Africa cause your journey in the continent is very interesting to watch, the challenges, the unknown and of course the beautiful scenery the lush mountains of Cameroon, by far your Africa adventure is far way better than the India adventure, IMO that was a boring series
@kassb7405 I hear you but the scenery in the 8ndian trip was mind blowing
I think Liberia was horibble
This video really puts things into perspective and makes me appreciate what we have got like clean clothes, decent roads, meals, electricity, clean water, warm showers and so much more. Hats off to those living in hard conditions and those who travel - lots of love and respect!
What an episode!!! I'm exhausted 😂 We were hanging off the edge of our seats for the whole ride. Three episodes of mayhem and nightmare conditions.
We're so deeply impressed with Noraly's sheer effort of will through Cameroon. And, weirdly, we all had a tear in our eyes for Alaska's fight through the conditions too.
What a mighty little machine. It's so sad that Alaska's a little beaten up - since we've all been so far with her - but Noraly will fix that soon enough.
I wouldn't mind if Noraly just took the week off to recover from this ordeal. Amazing. Impressive. Noraly 🙃
Unbelievable courage of Noraly to drive in such horrible tracks, driving every minute in such muck is scary. How she retains her smile and greets people is a wonder despite all troubles. Kudos Noraly, brave rider.
Fearless on wheels, paving the way with grit and grace. Keep riding, trailblazer!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Can well relate to you throwing your arms and saying "I made it". What a ride...phew!!!
I think you summarized up your trip nicely: warm water, food, dry clean clothes, electricity, the little things to most of us, but not to the whole world.
Noraly knows how to make amazing cliffhangers to bring us back over and over in just this series alone. And I'm all here for it
Hats off to you Noraly! Locals are also so supportive. Thanks for introducing this world to us.

Just wow Noraly, that was tough, well done you!
The appreciation never goes away, I first went to Africa way back in 1997 and ever since that time, every single time I step into a hot shower, I give thanks, every single time... 🙂

I like your unyielding spirit and how you compliment yourself after each obstacle. Du bist sehr wunderbar
Huge respect for the other daily commuters on those roads. Real survivors and heros of our world. Thanks Noraly for bringing this to the fore.
Unbelievable stamina to make it through a day of slippery mud and deep puddles. I give major props to Honda for making a bike that can keep up with Noraly.
Your riding skills are amazing, your determination is amazing, Alaska is amazing and your positive vibes just shine through.
"Hard work but paradise"- it is indeed a beautiful country with such varied terrain! Beautiful people as well.
Oh, my god Noraly, what a track you picked for yourself! And after all of that struggling you still have that wonderful smile to greet us as you recap the day. You are a LEGEND, as you say. This truly seems as tough a day as I’ve seen you have for a long time, speaks to the financial difficulties the Cameroonians face. I’m aghast at the response you had part way through exclaiming “PARADISE”. You truly can find the silver lining in any cloud. RESPECT…❤❤❤Rick
Noraly, you’re a trooper 🎉 always appreciative of the small things that we take for granted. Thank you for sharing your travels. ❤
17:13 The look of incredulity on that big fellow's face told the entire story! "You went from Loum.... to Yabassi.... on that bike?! She did Loum to Yabassi!!" He probably knows that exact ride in similar conditions has vanquished many lesser riders than Noraly!!
The road to Paradise is paved with....mud, mud and more mud.
Toughest roads ever, Noraly.
I am always amazed how you and Alaska continue to push on, despite the struggles. And for the locals who have to tackle these roads everyday, I take my hat off to them.
Hopefully a good long rest for bike and rider is coming soon!
Best wishes for better roads and drier conditions in the coming weeks!
What is the definition of an oxymoron?
Traveling some of the most horrendous paths (roads) there are to traverse and simultaneously telling us how beautiful the country is. Who needs to go to a gym when you can ride through Cameroon, heh?
One tough bike, one tough woman. Respect.👍
the real definition of Adventure
Norally has a very nice nature in that she will always appreciate and thank all those who helped her out of her challenging situation. But we that are following your adventure are also going through tough time too.
Such courage. She's all alone. Shows that if you overthink everything, trying to project all the possible consequences, you'll never do anything.
Wow now this road is the hardest thing I have seen you drive!
I know it’s been said, but I will never ever complain about bad roads. I have no idea how you made it through that day…tenacity, perseverance , no words can describe it. You rock !!!! Great video, Noraly.
And you keep on smiling whatever the day throws at you! Love your travels Noraly, well done!!
You are so awesome. Watching your videos struggling through the mud, potholes and boulders I am riding right along with you . I am right with you and when WE finally get some smooth road I AM SO TIRED AND SO PROUD OF YOU.I have two Harley’s and one is an Electra glide bagger and it is very troubling to get it back on its two wheels. 2:27
I love you so much and your pleasant pleasant demeanor makes me feel wonderful. I wish we could be friends.
Noraly, I always tense up when you are stopped by a "road block" and surrounded by a group of men. Your safety is paramount for this dad of a daughter your age. Your determination on such a ride as in this episode, is UNBELIEVABLE! In your closing It's the simple things that SHOULD make each of us the happiest. Oh what a mess. The thrill of a dry road. The ecstasy of pavement. Finally a wash, food, and "essence" (petrol), laundry, and rest. You and Alaska are so tough! So proud of you.
Unbelievable!! Your excitement when you started yelling, "I did it, i did it", reminded me of the scene from your movie as you were approaching the Arctic Ocean. Maybe a few less tears of joy this time, but still amazing to witness.

I've only been watching your adventures for 10 days now. However, I have been binge watching your episodes, so it feels like I've been watching you for years. Travel safe!
This is a toll road, ... because it certainly extracted its toll on you and your bike!
Noraly, you are truly an amazing person. What you are doing, so many people are afraid to do. I've had a similar experience with muddy roads in Africa, but nowhere close to the intensity of yours. One day in Ghana, I was in the car with my sister who was also the driver. She drove 3-minutes in mud. The road was so bad, and at one point, the car was just rolling on its own - my sis had lost control of the wheel. She was screaming in horror, but it was so funny to me because it felt like a rollercoaster. It was around 11am this happened. But after the experience, she told me she was done for the day. The 3-minute muddy experience took all her energy. 😅We went back home and slept for the rest of the day. 😂 I will never forget this day because I laughed so hard, especially when my sister screamed, "That's it, I'm done." But this is what makes Africa so much fun. I just love the raw nature and the crazy experiences.
Indeed Noly has not just bones of steel but spirit of steel.
So proud of you and your adventures around the world. You are one of a kind. Stay safe.
How are you dear?
