This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Anytime I search for fishing equipment or DIY Jetski fishing rig they show the ones you just buy.
It’s bad to have a lot of weight on the back something to balance it out would be nice, but I’m not sure if I can open the lid to the seat without falling off
luv it,I did the heavy duty storage crate idea which worked for awhile but hit a nice wave the other day and it literally fell apart

I like the project it's super cool. But Add up everything that the project took and compare it with what a rack costs. That cooler looks good.
Cost was around 120$ back then no with inflation not sure lol

Where did you get the turnbuckles and the stainless hooks that you hook the ratchet straps to on the side of the cooler?

so i removed the well nuts as i went in the ocean and it was a bumpy ride. so what i did was used washers and silicone to get more support
@@PassiveMatt I did one like yours, same, I put silicone in the holes but didn’t have the time to check it, I might go to haulover tomorrow to test it 😉
