- This will be the first built VQ37VHR that i'll document. I'll toss in every bit of information so that maybe more people will feel a bit less intimidated by building these themselves. This will be released in multiple parts since there's a lot to cover, so please sub to stick around to see the rest! Time for another VQ owner to go fast!
Part 12, we will be taking some measurements to ensure that our crankshaft is straight and within spec. We'll then remove the crank, lower block, and oil squirters in preparation for machine work. Some tips and tricks will be thrown in along the way.

dude thank you so much for the videos, very helpful
Thanks for the videos. I wouldn’t have tackled this without them!!
You got everything running right?
@@garagefanatic7830 I just finished tearing it all down this morning. I’m in no rush (since boost is expensive) but I want to go through and take measurements on everything and compare them to the SDS. Once that’s done I’ll send it off for machining. Hopefully you’ll have some assembly videos by then 😊.
@@coreywellons121 I should be starting on assembly videos this week since everything is at home waiting for me. I'm in Texas on a "5-6 day job" that has lasted over 3 weeks now. 😂
@garagefanatic7830 How much would you charge to put together a build motor. Labor wise? I'm in Texas aswell.
Very helpful thank you!
Thank you!
