So when i finally get off my butt to finally purchase a bus! What well it cost for you to make that system and install for a customer??? Cause thats a Sweet setup Scott.
I prefer people to use open source and DIY. This is so different for each situation, and the hours involved are many. It would not be cost effective. Plus if there was a problem the lawyers would have a heyday. OneGauge is a commercially supported product and the owner has been responsive and helpful. I have published my work on GitHub for others to DIY. Eventually I may offer some sort of kit but it’ll still be open source DIY because of liability reasons. I started a Facebook group called high tech RV for people that are interested in the DIY open source stuff.
@@ThisOldBus I'm a old shop rat never been big into computers plus dont like lawyers at all either!! I figured cost a big steak dinner and a few more steak dinners!! No contract no business games. But still pretty bad ass Scott
Thanks! I like steak. Filet minion preferably. But no amount of steak is payment enough for the many many hours involved. It’s a hobby and I do it for myself. Just like a classic car. You’ll never get your time or money out of it.
@@ThisOldBus trust me Scott be more then just steak!! Lol plus i would help. Minus lawyers and contracts whatever them legal games!! But first i need a bus lol. So when you finally leaving the west coast for East coast?? Lol
There is a playlist on my channel that covers the evolution of this project. If there is interest I may publish another video summarizing the current pieces required as it’s changed over time.
Hey Scott, great to see that you have it working!!! I should be able to start tinkering on mine in the coming week.
I haven't gone here yet, I've been busy working on other things on mine, but will be watching these again soon. Thanks.
What a great idea and project!👍👍
