Can you do a review on ado a20fplus
hi, Would you like to review PVY Z20 PLUS? A fat bike with triple shock suspension and 100Nm of torque.
Hiya its abit weird that your engine pro struggled on that hill test. Mine doest struggle at all and im 92kg on similar incline as u did and your on sport mode lvl 5. Idk but maybe change the top speed to max on settings if u still havent done it. Not sure tho if it will make a difference. Im 92 kg and everytime im on sports mode lvl5 everytime i hit the throttle only the bike feels like its about to do a wheelie. The handle bar lifts up from the ground too.
Hello Zanatos, I also have the same bike (16ah). This thing has some serious torque power on hills. I set it to normal level 3 and first gear for steep inclines at 5 mph being 6'4", 100 kg and it's a breeze even with 3 days of groceries straped to the carrier. Dam it but I love this machine.
Sometimes people say that regen motors are NOT geared motors (some may not have any gears internal), but if not geared, then the torque development on the tire is much less (anywhere from 2 to 4 times less). A very strong motor could go gearless, and the regen would be MUCH stronger, but if also geared, then the motor RPM is forced higher - which improves regen. The motor is advantaged for start-up by having a strong ratio of the gearing, but this impedes top speed and distance when the motor efficiency and torque curve begin to fall off. A 60nM motor can get better distance than a 80nM motor (same motors but different gearing in motor) because the motor usually does not go faster than design limit for highest efficiency. 26" tires also slow down the motor and so the deeper gear-ratio in the motor is then better for hill power.
The search for regen on YT does not easily bring up any regen vids (I got lucky again today by suggestions). The other vid with the nice brake-handle control is a good one to see (I saw it weeks ago - now where is it?) if you are interested in conserving brake-pad life - truly a life extender if only 10% and keeps you conservative in habits.
Mag wheels are an advantage because the spoke wheels these days are of POOR design conception as the best triangulation strategy has been abandoned, allowing the rims to quickly go wonky. Bad indicator for any e-bike company. Also, the crank sprocket needs to always be 52T or larger so the ghost peddling is rarely occurring.
I'm watching for dual-suspension with mags and a stronger hub motor able to give stronger regen, yet get 26MPH at very good distance. Maybe someone has seen one? To put a strong regen on the front wheel maybe gets into the instability territory - but needs to be tested to know for certain. There is also available a small motor that mounts behind the seat to give boost directly on the tire, and maybe a strong regen design for this mounting could be developed. I do like fenders so that adds another trick. It could also go on the front tire and be more easily lever-activated and fendered to keep rain off the rider. Our man TH is doing the best vids for including many technical details. A search for tail-happy brings up a bunch.
What about a Juiced HyperScorpion? No Regen but cool faster moped bike. New Lyric Graffiti coming soon. Good Regen
How much regen do you think you could get going down Kanan rd? There are some steep hills like that where i live now.
Not much honestly, I feel like the regeneration is like 10%, it’s really not even worth having besides to save brakes
Is the folding frame safe to drive over 15 miles per hour?? It always looks to me it can easily fold during a ride...
Awesome bike
Do you thin this is bettef than the xp 2.0
I would only take of the rattling fenders. It's the first thing I take off a new ebike. I dont ride in the rain. Color display is nice.
Just received mine after a long wait. I bought a spare battery with mine because it was a cheaper deal. Lookin for to conversing on the bike. I have a little rattle at the rear and i was trying to figure out what it was? Any notice that? I have the engine pro ubgraded 16ah. Its a powerful fun bike. Nice video by the way.
You have to tighten the bolt from the rear fender and adjust it lower because it is hitting the frame. I had that problem and adjusted the frame and tighten every bolt and no more rattles :)
get lock tight on the bolts for the fenders, (and check other bolts from time to time ones that loosen put lock tight on) they like to loosen up and fall out because of the vibrations, happened to me, lost 2 bolts then bought lock tight, with the rattle make sure rear fender not catching the frame and all bolts are tight, i had that issue to but i cant remember what it exactly was, but i think it was to do with the fender
@@Beetle1991 right, I'll try that. I noticed the carrier on the back was loose on one side. I wonder would a few rubber washers work?
@@nul1fe Yeah the Loctite is probably a good idea for security in the long run. Also, I don't want to tighten them too much or I'll probably void my warranty. I wonder if the chain is slightly hitting the fender? I seen some grease marks on it today.
@@HitchHikersBlues yer i put a tad electric tap where the chain catches it, that kinda helped but im sure it was something else, and na u dont have to over tight, you will know if they are loose (: also mine came loose after 2 weeks or so, and then a month i lost bolts 2 in a week xD, and where the swing arm meets the frame, back suss, they came loose on me, apart from a couple bolt hiccups brilliant bike tho, and decent support they get back to you within a day or 3
So far you're the only one who has mentioned the key but I've seen it hanging from the bike in meny videos
now you know where to come for the best bike reviews 😉
Is it normal for the charger to get quite hot? My charger has no fan on it. It looks like some people get the fan and others dont. Why would they make one with a fan if it isnt dodgy? And if it is dodgy why would they give ya one with no fan?
Yea i never got a fan on mine, when i asked on the forums everyone else got fans in theres, also had a European plug even though i purchased in the UK, i did contact CS about it and looks like they are sending me out a new charger
I am looking to buy this but after when U where down in the garage to go up it failed so I will look for another that can do this with an ease...thanks
How heavy is bike?
Like 70ish lbs? It’s listed in the link below the video on the spec sheet
regen is not much mentioned because in real life it makes little difference unless you have looong downhill section as it only works in the lowest paddle assist mode and above 20kmph speed
I agree, and it’s not really implemented well on this bike how you have to activate it. I recently reviewed a flat tire, Ebike that the regeneration activates when you pull the brake levers, which makes it significantly more useful. That review will be coming to the channel soon. Thanks for your comment. I agree with your assessment.
@@TailHappyTV I have the Engwe Engine Pro and completely agree with both of these comments. I can't wait to see regen activated by brake levers.
Do you send these back?
No, need to start renting
@@TailHappyTV if something breaks where will you get the parts from? From China will take too long, I want to buy it for personal use I don’t have other e bike, so this is - for me, what do you think?
@@ahamnobunThey have a warehouse in Europe if you live there so you can get it within a week. Unsure about the US, you'll have to look that up.
Why do the police travel in a huge herd?
Gang mentality. Even though they carry a baton, handcuffs, taser, mace or pepper spray and a Gun. They're scared one on one.
@@ebenezerwheezer2957they should make the physical requirements alot tougher, you don’t see stronger cops hiding behind other cops mostlyn
regen brake is not a good thing on a ebike..
