- Hi, Welcome to the video, here we have some clean trucks from the busy truck town of Sanson in New Zealand.
You will see Kenworth which has some of the nicest looking rigs out here, other trucks are Kenworth, Iveco, Mack, Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Daf, Western Star, Frightliner and Scania more!
please enjoy
matt
Love the mix of US, European and Asian style trucks.
Watching this is pure joy!
Those heavy rigids with full size trailers attached via a dolly look like roads trains at first glance. What a variety of trucks you have there! 🙂👍
It's nice seeing these videos reminding me of the good old days driving for all Halls and AFL out of palmy. Not the same here in the UK

awesome,.. shows the good rules of loading and the capacity of the truck in use..
A truck doesn't needs so many wheels
@@billybob8836 depending on cargo mostly. But most of them seems to have that 1 extra axle just behind cabin 🤔
Чем больше осей, тем меньше давление на дорогу.
@@billybob8836 It's just a 32 ton ridgid with a drawbar extension. IE: jeep dolly and standard Tri axle trailer.. Nothing unusual..
Or a usual Ausie B double. Think I seen a couple of quad/quads as well.
This is one intersection in one town and it's non stop. I never hear a word about anything from anybody in New Zealand. Who do they cry and whine to when their coffee is cold. It must be an amazing place to live. Should have gone there when I was just a boy
Haha yeah mate she's not bad
the one place I would love to visit and also to retire in

i wish they still make CabOvers Trucks in the USA new zealand trucks looks so cool only if we had them :(
Awesome video. I love to visit Australia and New Zealand one day, maybe after the Coronavirus
You guys, Australia, south Africa and Brazil have the coolest trucks . the US and Canada can take a page out of your book if they care to learn a thing or two 😀👍
i would like to see some south Africian trucks
That’s ridiculous
@@patrickthedeplorable95 it’s true Americans have shit configurations
I agree. But also most american trucks are configured for comfort and not efficiency.
@@theNZmatt So would I. Especially ones with legal tyres and not driven by a maniac...
The truck tire traders there must have a good filled order book!
Awesome video and as a local of this area see this scene alot. Love that moment at 17:25 when the two Mercedes are side by side.
3:40 Oh my an obscure Chinese King Long truck
9:29 oh and a Foton Truck
My friend you know your shit =)
This is a very nice video 👍
Thank you Sir
The trucks in New Zealand sure roll on a alot of wheels.
Spreads the weight to save on road wear.
Lots of twin steers with 5 axle dog trailers in NZ ,must be pulling big weight 🤙
It's up there, 50ton plus is the norm.
Yup, these trucks can haul up to 137,000 lbs.
The road is not jammed smooth, the trucking is luxurious, that's the hallmark of New Zealand 👍👍
Auckland is always jammed.
Luxurious! hah I love that =)
New Zealand has shit roads trust me I’ve driven them for years
That's got to be the fastest i have ever seen that junction in 18 years.
Always been ques to turn right in to wellington and from wellington (SH1)
@@Tangaroa775 SH1 is like the A75 in the UK
@13:06 that Scania looked so tasteful.
Thanks for sharing this video, I like watching trucks pass by, they are transporting our everyday needs. 👍
Hi,, truck mania. Greeting from bus mania. Thanks you for sharing truk in new Zealand
Thank you bus mania
i love the mix of euro, american and asian trucks over there, also the axle configs are very interesting; would love to visit NZ some day
They love their twin steers across there
😍😊👌👍🤙😎🙏 saluti dalla sardegna 🏄♂️
Until now, I didn't know which there were several truck marks in New Zealand...For my big surprise, to see Daimler Benz; DAF and IVECO trucks was as to be here in Brazil! Great video; I loved see it. I'm subscribed! Great one! ;-)
NZ is pretty lucky when it comes to trucks tbh, lots to choose from.
Would be nice to see the interior of one of those box truck-trailers nice videos keep it up. All the way from the Caribbean.
Muy lindos Equipos, y excelente el orden del tránsito 👏👍
Beautiful, peaceful, loveful, wonderful and nature full - one of my favourite country to visit..
yeah she not bad mate
Very nice ❤
Nice Brooo
Este vídeo de caminhões e o vídeo mais lindo que já vi até hoje eu amo este tipo de vídeo. Eu sou apaixonado por estes belos e lindos caminhões. Parabéns pra pessoa que posto este vídeo. E melhor vídeo já visto
Always enjoy watching my (almost) locals at work. A really busy little spot. Good vid - even if you did strike gremlins a couple of times uploading it. 'happens.
Yes mate doubled up the clips by mistake, lucky there real nice rigs though.. that new Kenworth 👌
Beautiful newzealand
Continue o excelente trabalho ,eu adoro essas super máquinas um abraço aqui do Rio de janeiro 👍🇧🇷
Hi everyone ! I like N.Z.T. because have trucks from Europe and USA !
That rugged straight pipe scania was cooool
Great Colors and Graphics on cool trucks 🚚
Nice broo...
Some good looking units there. NZ has interesting axle groupings, similar to Australia, but not identical. Lots of rigid with dog trailers and lots of quad axle trailers. Interesting to see the quads with the wide spread back axles.
That's the funny thing about N Z most the prime mover's look to be mainly 8 legger ridgids.. A few tractor units but not very many.
Cute baby trucks
I miss home and the car / truck culture there. 😪
Viele schöne Trucks !!!
Grüße aus Germany 😃
Nice too see for a change not one accident by careless drivers. Amazing mostly B double trucks.
Most of them are truck and trailer units, with B-Trains aswell
Was a bit surprised to see Mercedes, MAN and DAF driving around there. Scania and Volvo ok, they seem more global brands with a global sales network.
We got everything here mate, Company I work for is MAN and Western Star agency.
It's the new import laws on front impact and emissions. A lot of the Japanese brands don't meet requirements anymore so European stuff is getting more prevalent.
I have something that will surprise you.
In the top ten of 2019, there is only one American company, PACCAR, and that is mainly because of DAF, which is known to be a European company. And only one Japanese company, ISUZU. Not much to say about that. The rest are either Chinese or European.
Special case: TRATON. This is actually Volkswagen. To which SCANIA, MAN and the Brazilian truck production of VW belong. Also interesting in this context: 25 % of Sinotruck (CNHTC), the #5 on the list, belongs to MAN.........
Interesting, isn't it? SCANIA is a global company in your view (nothing wrong with that). What is VW in this context?
And can you believe it? VOLVO, the second global company in your eyes, sits at #4. The Number One is Daimler........
10. Isuzu
9. Tata Group
8. Traton: The Volkswagen Umbrella company for the commercial vehicles division - SCANIA, MAN und Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus
7. Shaanxi Automobile Group
6. Paccar, Kenworth and Peterbilt and - DAF
5. China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC)
4. Volvo Trucks
3. Dongfeng Trucks
2. FAW - 2019 - 284,889 trucks of six tonnes and over worldwide.
1. Daimler - 2019 - 358,663 trucks of six tonnes and over worldwide

They are incredibly numerous, good spot for trucks lovers! And 9 axles seems to be the rule!
Yeah mate, I have seen a couple of 13 axle 60Ton general freight units around so maybe thats next =)
Better use of trucks than in Belgistan!
great vidéo !
great trucks ;) :)
Wow those are so big and efficient!
Me encantaría conducir un camión como esos, me puedo tirar todo el día en ese cruce y no me canso de ver camiones, jajajaj
jajaj
Thanks for the video, was interesting to see your truck culture there. It little different then here in Finland 🇫🇮.
cheers mate
Man I have never seen so many B doubles Driving in a town
This is actually state highway 1 in central NZ so no real alternative without a major detour.
When had to retire in 2014 from Bridgestone the five axle trailers were becoming popular, great for rotation purposes as able to get better wear and kilometers, sadly on the one occasion I had to replace 8 tyres and rotate all the others in a huge rain storm and I was underneath jacking up the axles and injured my hip, but that was my good one because the other one was replaced already from a injury in the foresty working on a skidder tyre on a very steep hill, it ended my working day's, now just watch from my lazy boy chair, ☺.
Wow it is so different
Awesome video.
I've just noticed we don't see cabovers in the us anymore.
Trucks look like something outa transformers movie
Beautiful
Esse cruzamento é o top dos caminhões pelo geito.
I noticed that most of your trucks have double carriages whereas here in the UK it's a single carriage
💯% thank's 👍
I remember here in the United States in 70 80 90 all you would see is KW white freight liners peterbilts cabovers now all you see is conventionals
Bring back the cabover America! ;)

Finally a normal B double iv never seen a heavy ridged twin steer towing a 5 axle dog traile the length of an A trailer fucken weird but still cool at the same time since they will be easier to back into a tight dock. Iv got to get out more 🤣🤣
alot of roads here are windy and norrow.. two steers helps alot also more axle more weight😊
I wonder why almost every trucks got two parts! Maybe better mobility during tight turns?
correct, also more axles more tonnage..
2:33 Daaaammmnnn those fuel prices!!!😲 $1.44NZD for diesel! Soooo cheap! Anything under $2.00 per litre for diesel is a good price now
Hello Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Amazing ✔️
Excellent
SHOW VÍDEO 😂😊🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Realmente fantástico o nível elevado de várias marcas muito top aqui no Brasil operam todas estas marcas também vejo ai que dá gosto de se trabalhar por ai felicidades há todos os ir mãos e irmãs 👋👋👋👋😍🤗
So weird seeing these tandem combos on euro trucks. 25m combos arent yet allowed in Bulgaria (afaik) but are in a few European countries, but there the front trucks are 4x2 or 6x4, there are some 8x4s but none are 2 front steering axles and 2 back power axles like in this video, instead they have the 2nd steering axle in the back behind the power axles.
I've seen dump trucks at like construction sites have a 2 front steering and 2 back power axle combos, but never one for other regular loads.
Thanks for that very interesting =) we have lot of axles to look after our roads, that tells a bit about our roads ;) but i love the fact it pretty hard to find a descent pothole

Hi, somebody know the movie from USA "BJ and Bear" the red truck. Full of memory👏👏👏. Thanks
Cooool🚚🚚👍👍
14.50 that peterbilt looks hot
They still use four excels trailers. Most countries it is limited to three axles unless it's for special cargo.
5 axle trailer is the norm here now.
You mean most countries still use 3 axle trailers, NZ did as well 10 years ago.

@@newzealandtrucks In Italy in the 80's hello :)))
Beutiful trucks 0:08
Pls tell a swed the axelloads. We have a max of 9 metric tons on a singel frontaxel, 19 tons on the boogie, and 32 over a triple... By the look of it U 2 run about 25 meters in length. We have from 64 to 74 tons in total depending on road quality. Cheers...
Average max for us is 50T , more than that you can get a permit
Some bonny colour schemes in that 35 mins though. I think quad quads n quad quin's are starting to grow on me but I don't think they going to push tractors out my eyesight yet though..
Yeah man my preferred combination is a KW towing a B-Train
man, how come new zealand and australia gets the most variety of semi trucks, y'all have long noses, cabovers, european, american and even japanese brand trucks
i envy y'all 😭😭
they get imported in Australia and New Zealand. so why bot a variety. maybe in US, canada and Europe trucks are made there. so must be cheaper then a import one.
