Some real nice trucks over there ....some real speed demons thru that circle 😆
Very nice rigs over there!
what is cool about the trucks from New Zealand its there is a mix of so meny trucks from all around the world 👍👍
I am impressed by the state those trucks are in. Spot clean like they were brand new. We do not see the likes in Europe.
maby not in southern Europe, but in the north..:-) but we don't have american trucks because of stupid laws.
Glad to see new content! Always love seeing NZ rigs. Greetings from California! 🤙🏻
I LOVE Scanias, but these American trucks... And loved the pace they arrive and leave the roundabout!
Amazing equipment!! I like it that they have all the options available to them , like European and North American/American trucks and Japanese trucks also

Frederic Lormeau - Mate this flag you used 🇦🇺 is the Australian flag,
This flag 🇳🇿 is the New Zealand flag.
Slight difference and understandable to anyone else to look the same but to a Kiwi or an Aussie they are very different.

Awesome!!!!🔥🔥👍🚛
18:25 Pretty sure that is the same truck I see parked up near our work on the weekends here in Palmy.
big yella ;)
Schabad Auckland love you all all great nice time with you
Great looking equipment. Question: it appears that 90% of the van trailers are (what we call here in the US) "curtain sides".....not too much backing in to loading docks I guess. Would like to see some videos of loading/unloading operations.
good idea mate
In France lots of trailers are curtain sides
Its used when you want to load something bigger than the doors (paper rolls for example)
No most places don't have reverse in loading docks as seems to be the norm in the USA. Generally open the curtain and forklift does it all from the side. Alot of the bigger warehouses etc have 2.4 meter forks so they do both sides in one go. The exception obviously being the reefer trailers but generally only the temp controlled warehouses have the reverse in docks.
Undo buckles before reversing into finger docks, 25metres long.

Nice video👍 Delivery work for people need🤠🤠
Ixom's got some really nice gear and a huge variety of flavours too, most big fleets have nice gear, but they usually favour a brand like Dynes or courier post do.
Pretty sure its because they are ODs.
I have to say I love the thumb nail to your video
shes a beauty for sure

New Zealand Truck Videos immer gerne gesehen.

very cool trucks, sometimes look a bit overpowered to haul a 20ft container with 8 axles :D
Probably has a hitch on the back of it for another one, just didn't have one attached right now
The terrain in NZ generally demands it. Work smarter not harder.
Over here in the USA🇺🇸 we mostly have conventional cab semis. Back in the 1980s & down we had a mix of cabover & conventional cab semis. Then most of the cabover semis over here phased out & that's when more conventional cab ones took their places.
Changing the length rules sunk the cabover in the US. While easier to maneuver & back. They lacked comfort & safety needed for driving in a large country. I started in a cabover in 92. Imagine spending 6 weeks in a tiny European style cabover in the US? It sucked
@@SuperBigblue19 & not to forget in a head on crash with a car driven by a drunk driver or so, the cabover driver leaves the accident scene through the windshield. Also whenever a mechanic works on one, all of the driver's lose stuff inside the cab goes all over the place & sometimes break the windshield too because the mechanic has to tilt the cab up to get to the motor.
This may shock you, but cabovers have become better over the last 30-40 years. And no reason cabovers couldn’t have large sleepers for more comfortable living over longer periods of time. But where there is no market, there are no product.
@@SuperBigblue19 but couldn't you get an even larger sleeper on the same wheelbase with a cabover vs conventional?

Thanks mate
Great video Matt 👍 some sharp looking equipment rolling on that roundabout mate ! Top notch Scania’s and Kenny’s
I’ve spotted on lots of trucks have that yellow H sticker on front ( what is that represent ) ?
Best wishes from Canada 🇨🇦 also owner -driver on B-trains. Cheers mate
Thanks mate, yeah some sweet gear alright very blessed. When they brought to law the longer truck limit of 20 meters you had to display the H, to be honest I think it's a bit redundant bcz not many ppl Kno what it means. Good as my man I didn't know they ran btrains in CA
@@newzealandtrucks Yes We have 25M total length or Road Trains of 2 trailers ( 53’- 16.20M each ) connected by double axle dolly. ( Need LCV permit ) to operate this type equipment on public roads. In case of any accident ahead of you as driver of LCV not allowed to use detour must park on shoulder and wait for the accident to be clear. Cheers mate.
@@newzealandtrucks Also the wt limit went from 50t to 60>65t.
H for heavy mate, you have to RUC it to the weight you want to carry above the standard 45ton, and carry a folder which has your over weight permit, and what roads you can use, legislation and obligations bla bla bla. We weren't allowed to drop our trailers for some stupid reason pertaining to our H permit RUC
@@myresponsesarelimited7895 Thank you Sam for clearing this info for me. Greatly appreciate was just curious myself of the regulations. My best wishes in good health to you Sir from snowy and cold 🥶 Canada 🇨🇦 Cheers mate !

Wow truk ini sangat gagah kami lihat teman 👍🏻🙏🏻
The four axle rigid towing a dolly and trailer set is a combination that’s way more common in New Zealand than in Australia.
Saw at least half a dozen there I think, even a fuel tanker one. You often see them as tippers, but not so much as freighters. Interesting.
~(++
Yup. Those units (rigid truck + 45 foot full trailer) are very popular here in N.Z. They can be used for multiple different applications such as Flatbed, Curtain Side, Log trucks, Dump trucks, Tanker trucks.
As seen here, we also use B-Trains (B Double) for all those different applications too, though they're not quite as long as the Australian version.
Additionally, we also use quad axel (dual wheels or super single) 50 foot semi trailers (Australia doesn't have these if im not mistaken). These slightly longer semi trailers are used just for reefer and flat bed units.
Are they coming from a show ? The trucks are so clean
Haha na mate that's how NZ rolls, the blokes really love there rigs
@@newzealandtrucks Ireland should take note alot of our trucks are scruffy
Hey bro! I was wondering if you would recommend trucking as a career? I've always wanted to drive big rigs since I was a wee kid but don't know the goods and bads of it for me. Anyways keep up the solid work! You've captured some mean trucks. Cheers brotha! 🤙🏼
Yeah bro, as long as you like driving that's a pretty big part of it ;) learning to handle the rig you can learn, sitting up high in your nice office seeing the country 👌 bro pretty sweet
Thanks mate👍 keep on trucking ❤️🇬🇧
get into freight there is more variety and long haul if you can call it that in NZ is a way of life. The only thing I find strange is your not allowed to sleep in your sleeper? And often wonder why we have sleeper cabs?
@@rob368 a lot of guys sleep in there cabs boss and most get $50-100 per night for it too
Carting metal (aggregates) is good work, it's put on, it falls off, no tieing it down although some material needs to be covered- big job back in the day, but now rolling covers can both be deployed in a minute, and if you're lucky they'll be electric,
...home every night if you have a family, you'll learn other heavy plant like diggers and loaders- if you've liked trucks from a kid? you probably like most things big and diesel, plus being multi skilled makes you more employable, good variety of work so every day is different, sites change all the time, of course various work calls for more skills and licences, but skills are always good, and the company will probably pay for your heavy W,R, & T.
Money for jam brother- money for jam!
Lovely to see almost every truck manufacturer.
How is the market share around there?
Looks to me like this
1 Kenworth
2 Volvo
3 Freightliner
4 Scania, Mercedes
5 Hino, Daf, Isuzu
6 Mitsubishi, Iveco, Man
7 Nissan, Western-Star, International.
That's not a bad assessment, I'd say MAN would be more up there and international is making a small come back as they are "making" them in NZ now days
4:55 Chinese "Howo T5"
Going by what I saw on the ferries Scania would be alot higher. Didn't see all that many freightliners on there either. Isuzu and hino are alot more common in small single axle trucks around the cities.
New Zealand is British Columbia down under, geography wise.
Ale jaka kultura na drodze, u nas połowa zestawów cięła by ten zakręt na rondzie po dwóch pasach.
That's a state hi way coming away from the capital mate, it's huge, there's plenty of room, that one in plimmerton's a bit tighter, but still do-able, all major road's are designed with trucks in mind, but if it's tight and you think you'll struggle ....just run into it in the middle so nobody tries to come with you or pass you, culture is mostly professional though, we're a considerate bunch down these ways. 😉👌 ....mostly. 😁
look at how smooth the road is, it's the same as in Indonesia, it's still bumpy and the quality of the asphalt is lacking, the roads are potholed, and the road is still dirt terrain hopefully in the future it's better🤗🤗🤗

wow, so many different trucktyps from all over the world.... that´s cool and most of them are briskly on the way 😊
what's the point of the bracket underneath the windshield? 🤔
most of our roads are made of chip rock and it can get flicked up and damage the screen =)
@@newzealandtrucks ah ok... thx 👍

Funny, Merceds Actros and Freightleiner and Fuso and Western Star are in the same overall company and i think that Actros and Argosy are much a like outside????

Mantap bro,,,
What’s the max length of these different types of trucks? For example, the max length for a truck that can go interstate here in the US is 80 feet or approximately 24.3 meters (if I did the conversion correctly). I feel like some trailers, like the 4 axle box trailers, are much longer than a standard 40 or even 53 foot container
we are 20m total for the rig, i think thats why we have cab overs bcz there a bit shorter so we can have more trailer space =)
Max legal length in New Zealand without a pilot vehicle is 23 meter. How ever the DAF transporter at 17:26 has special length of 24.3 meters
They look as though they travel on the same side of the road as us - England that is.
yes sir
16:31 cool car
Yep, good old c6 chevrolet corvette!
quite a lot of different trucks being used which is the most reliable .
It's all pretty good for a million k's these day's, been driving American gear for a while now- all my troubles have been 80% sensor failures as opposed to actual failures...Isuzu deserves a mention, I hate them, they're ugly, they're under powered, but Isuzu make reliable gear, I cut my teeth on them and swear by them, some say cheap and nasty, but they're solid as- as in bang for your buck.
Only came across one week point after many years of driving them- some models don't like to idle in gear at the lights, it shags the center clutch around 100,000ks
But if money's no object- SAR Kenworths, or Volvo would be my choice, just my opinion though 🤷♂️
😍
👍👍👍👍👍👌
All and all
Is the new Transmission Gully road open yet? Probably not, judging by the number of trucks still on that road.
could be weeks could be years the way shit runs around here sometimes
It is now matey👍
anyone know how many pallet spaces on the truck and dogs or overall length
