  • Welcome to the video, this video was shot in Tauranga with a couple clips on the way home off the desert road.
    The first Truck is a brand new r650 Scania owned by Mainsteam Freight, Meet the driver while he was fueling up, bloody top bloke he is and very happy to be driver this trucks maiden voyage from AKL to CHCH
    BIG shout out to the man from C3 another absolute top bloke who showed us what it look like to unload a logging truck in to fithes of f all , them logging crews there are slick no pissing about over there in and out thank you.
    You will see Kenworth which has some of the nicest looking rigs out here, other trucks are Kenworth, Mack, Mercedes-Benz, Scania , Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Daf western star, CAT ,International the odd Peter built and Renault?

    It’s like a heaven for a truckers!
    I will visit this country because of this.
    The K100 with the big cab is such a beast!
    *random fact*
    Daf shares parts with Kenworth and M.A.N shares some parts with Mack, Volvo shares with with almost everybody.
    In Israel, the army gets the Volvo cab with kenworth engine and Alison trans, or Daf cab with everything from Ken

      @@outtyrider Yes I had the 50s prefect.10 hp.They had a problem with rolling.I still have the original specs book for it stored away. No water pump on those flat heads but they could crack the cast block! The blocks got stitch welded.Same with the 47 mercurys,got their blocks stitched.My Dad owned a 47 mercury.He would take out the back seat and put hay bales in it then drive over our farm and feed out the hay to the cows.Then put the seat back in and drive to town.Those were the good old days !

    Судя по осям таскают явно не 15/20т. Учитывая сколько их на дорогах - это просто уважение к дорстрою - дороги идеальные. У нас даже во дворах от легковушек дороги в хлам...

      ​@@user-qt6dh2pb5q в Китае климат примерно как у нас. Нормальные же дороги, не разъёбаные. При чём там с весом не заморачиваются. Грузят сколько влезет и везут не боясь каких то весовых...

    هل حسبتم تحديدات الجسور التي تعبر عليها مثل هذه العجله وهي بكامل حمولتها
    لا اعتقد ان الكثير من الدول المانيه تتوفر
    لديها الجسور التي تستطيع العجله عبورها
    هذه مشكلة المبالغه في زيادة طاقة الحمل
    فوق المعتاد٠٠٠

      I think they put the empty trailers onto of their trucks as it’s far easier and maybe safer as you’re not dragging a suddenly very light empty trailer behind you that could fishtail or tip over? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

    So how long is your dog trailer allowed to be and what is overall length of combination ,Australia is still restricted to 19m for truck and dog unless it’s under PBS.what weights are you allowed .

    Вот с кого пример брать надо , а у нас одни запреты , в такой стране как Россия не такие а больше карабли должны рассекать трассы и Дор строй должен выкладываться по полной , а не для самокатов дороги строить и причем каждый год раза четыре а то и более их ремонтируют . Не можем строить дороги сами позовите тех у кого это получается хорошо , пусть долго но зато на долго . А то наши новые технологии с асфальто бетоном что-то совсем стали ещё хуже чем без технологий ложили .

      У нас в России участвуют в тердерах конторы которые даже своей строительной техники не имеют. Выигрывают а потом дорожную технику в аренду нанимают. И посмотрите кто дороги строит одни армяне.

    Why are the Articulated trucks mostly all 4axle cabs? Seems a bit overkill for a standard truck.

      much better in New Zealand where roads are not that straight and wide. 2 sterring axles helps distribute more weight but also smoothly steer on constant curvy; bendy, windy roads

      Not at all its our weight restrictions on the road network specifically axle weights for our bridges Note with permits
      semis can run up to 62,000 kgs hope this clears this for you.
