- Great day out in New Zealand filming Trucks, most clips are from state highway 2 rimataka ranges and a few clips from Petone, Wellington.
Cheers to the truckie and the farmer about as KIWI as it gets loading sheep up Paekakariki Hill RD
You will see Kenworth which has some of the nicest looking rigs out here, other trucks are Kenworth, Mack, Mercedes-Benz, Scania , Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Daf western star, CAT ,International the odd Peter built and Renault?
please enjoy
matt
A nice mix of European, American and Japanese trucks. 👍👍👍
Good to see the Foden & ERF still on the Tarmac 👍
australia and new zealand looks like a truck world. i love the variety of the EU and US trucks, its so good to see the different technologies
didnt you know. they only let ou see what they allow
What
Japanese trucks too. Got the lot.
Great to see such a variety in Aus and NZ
Yes man. I'm.from New Zealand and would also live to see varieties in USA in future maybe, cabovers, Asians, European brands.
Loved to see the foden still going not many left over here in uk.🏴
I love the Rimataka Hill Road, stop at the cafe at the top for a coffee, that's back in the 70's when I was a rep for Kidd Garrett. Happy days. LOL
There was a cafe at the top, Interesting
Is it just me or does anyone else think , that some of the American cabovers slightly resemble Maori facial tattoos? like this guy at 3:22
Beautiful looking trucks
walked up this hill, heading north as a 12yr old in the early 90s. had the front left corner of a handful of rigs, pass within inches of my face. as im leaning back into an rickety wire fence, millimetres from the crumbled edge of the road with a frightening drop below.
a lifetime memory.
lifetime memory alrite! cheers for the comment mate
De lujo los Kenworth K -100. Y 200 y también los freightliner Argosy. Saludos desde México DF. 👍
Love u New Zealand😘😘😘
From Tanzania
Love you to bro
Interesting thing about these Lorries Get Hino 700 UD and Isuzu Giga these use American manual transmission crash box for Lorries in New Zealand
I really like the scenery of transportation that is exemplary as the best in the world
Ha! That was an interesting twist. Sweet.
Crikey, that water tanker was hammering it round there at the beginning. Clearly fully loaded, in fact coming out through the overflows
Had to smile seeing the dog's head under that load of sheep.
Yea that dog is there to chase sheep into the truck which you probably already know
Excelentes vídeos saludos desde México amigo
Hermoso es escuchar los motores subiendo lomas
Excellent video greetings from colombia
I like your view of the camera in the curves .
Spotnya mantab om 👍
Oh I’d love to go to a country with American, Japanese and European lorries

Thank you sir
Were pretty with the trucks we got over here not very many country's have every truck brand in them and we even have special made kenworths that you will only ever see in nz and australia
Thats true mate
Good morning from Brazil
good morning to you
Uau 🚛 👀 Ilove trucks 👏👏👏 Rio de janeiro 🇧🇷🏖️🌊☀️🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
The old Foden was one of Reg Smiths truck's, 😊.
It nice to see that variety of truck model, Japanese truck US trucks, and EU trucks, one thing I know this country and truck company doesn't need a China truck, because of its substandard quality..
We do have Chinese trucks right up to heavy haulers in NZ. They are gradually appearing more and more on NZ roads. The opinion of operators in NZ is, they are technically advanced and very efficient. Competitive with anything out there from Europe, Japan and the US.
Even Mahindra

A china propaganda add, they break in half alot of videos on the nett bud.
Nice
Western Star ⭐ presence
Хороший Видос!!! Спасибо!!!
The Rimutaka hill road, State Highway 2 between the Wellington region and the South Wairarapa mostly just below the summit on the Upper Hutt side of the Hill Road. Ah I know it well. Do you know how much of a pain it being stuck behind a logging truck or B train on that road.
Jalannya bagus dan lebar...
Hi, great video, just wondering what is the total gross weigh of a 4 axle tractor/rigid body and 5 axle trailer combination , regards from Ireland
60 ton, depending on the route. They are permitted if they have H placard. Not all roads have been upgraded for the extra weight
great video! thanks.
you know how heavy are the double trailer allowed to carry?
here in mexico is common 25/25 tons
max legal weight is 30/30 and some carry a bit more
same 50T truck and trailer
Up to 60 tons on 9 axle units.
Large wheel per axle 7200kg/7.8ton
Large wheel twin tyre, 8200kg/9ton
Steering Axle. 7200kg,
20% of your load weight must be on your front wheels ...
Gourmet right there
Nice video..I'm from Indonesia and I work as a trailer truck driver in Indonesia.
are there any truck driver jobs in new zealand?
yeah mate there is lots
@@newzealandtrucks i want to work as truck driver in nz but don't have trucking experience and don't have money, what should i do
What’s the reason for all the twin steer units? Is it a local law / compliance thing? We have zero twin steer cabs here in the uk so very cool to see.
weight distribution mate
Truck Hino godjoob, Very2 God, nice, and godluck. 👍👍👍
I like the black cab over with black drop visor, the old W 900 had a good picture on bonnett, a old wagon with horses.
Loading the truck was cool, did the trailer retract or truck to join both together.
The price of diesel atm won't be many trucks left to move there freight.
What does the yellow H symbol mean on the trucks
Thanks bro, not sure how the trailer works. H is heavy =)
@@newzealandtrucks cheers, I looked up the roads department in nz and I'm sure if it can carry over 44 ton they put a H symbol on front and rear, not sure why some have 2 though.
Abit like in Australia where we have mass management, u can carry more weight.
Cheers
Trailer has a telescopic drawbar. It has air operated break pot cylinder, that pops the pin out and puts it in again after it's pulled out to road length
H = high productivity 👌
Nice bus at 8:15, wich Brand is?
So 9 axles is the limit in NZ?
Wao!! Very nice trucks love all the truck drivers their all excellent 👍 but can i get a trucking jobs in new Zealand am a truck driver here in Nigeria 🇳🇬 with 10 years experience
If you want it make it happen bro
I hope the campervan owners weren't harmed...

It is the summit of the range, a small viewing point, and trucks will pull in as a courtesy to let the faster traffic past.
Can anyone please explain to me why the log trucks have lines going to the rear wheels? Is it brakes?
So when it's wet off road in the forest they let the tyres down for more grip and then thows lines pump the tyres back up
@@newzealandtrucks ahhh that makes a lot of sense! Thank you.
Почему многие грузовики в Новой Зеландии имеют две поворотные оси?
👍👍👍💪💪💪👏👏🙋♂
Mntap🙏 🥰
Why this nice truck not in @SCS Softwares Trucks Simulators ?
good question mate
Whatever happen to cabovers in the U.S?
We don't have length restrictions anymore. Peterbilt and kenworth stopped making cabovers in 2005. Freightliner Argosy was the last you could get, and you had to special order one. Freightliner stopped selling them here, last year I believe.
@@ryanwiese5280 kenworth makes cabocers there latest one is a 2022 k220 but its not in America in new zealand we don't have American made kenworths so that might be why you guys don't manufacture cabocers in us
@@ryanwiese5280 Kenworth actually still produce cabovers for the New Zealand & Australian market. The most recent model is the K220, made in Australia. International/Navistar also still make cabovers, the current model is the 9870, built right here in New Zealand specifically for our conditions.
Why they use twin steer axle horse.lovely though
1:56 what name the truck?
the kenworth k200
K200 kenworth brother

Would like to see if them big boys can handle a class 2 skip gantry truck 👀
how many ton are them bro?
@@newzealandtrucks only little 5 - 6 tonners but it's how you drive them that's the challenge, up narrow bendy streets and driveways, overhanging trees and buildings, need some skills and smarts for this line of work no offense ✌😬😆
@@toaevaga2347to be fair tho these big boys reverse down those windy hills I've been in big trucks for 15 years and now they make this stuff look easy
