- Hi, Welcome to the video, here we have some cool trucks from a little trip to the South Island of New Zealand. NZ probably has the coolest trucks in the world we think ;)
You will see Kenworth which has some of the nicest looking rigs out here, other trucks are Kenworth, Mack, Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Daf, Western Star, Frightliner and Scania more!
please enjoy

3:44 - Look at those American classic cars passing by on that corner! It's amazing to even see LHD vehicles like those driving in New Zealand.
Yeah, I love seeing American rides down here in NZ! Wished we had more of them!
@@dallasfrost1996 Cool! I also like seeing footage and photos of American classics in the United Kingdom, Australia, and many other countries around the world since they sometimes have interesting vehicles imported from my home country, the United States.
@@CEO100able Yeah, in my area in particular I've noticed more and more American vehicles, especially Full-size pickups, mainly Chevy's and RAM's. In fact, just down the road from where I live there's a Current generation Silverado 1500 LTZ that sits around a nearby gas station lol. To yall, it's just another truck, but to us it's quite fascinating and stands out from everything else. I love the way they look, and wouldn't mind having one myself at some stage, but unfortunately they're ridiculously expensive over here.
@@dallasfrost1996 Wow, that's very impressive! I remember seeing some American LHD street vehicles in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand as well as RHD conversions. It would take plenty of effort to make American sedans, pickup trucks and SUVs RHD-ready in RHD countries.

I’m moving to NZ soon as a truck driver from the UK can’t wait to have a go of the big American trucks we don’t really have those here just the standard European trucks.
That's what I love about being here in N.Z. We have a little bit of everything, Japanese, European, and American styled trucks. American trucks are definitely my favorite!
These huge trucks with trailer are driven meticulously 👌👌👌. Nice watching them .
Much respect to those guys doing double trailers!!
I'd say those H class truck & trailer combinations be just as tricky too drive too friend?
They are called A TRAINS and B TRAINS depends on the Axles you have
Actually they're 'Truck and Trailer' and 'B-trains'. A-Trains disappeared years ago, when the entire NZ dairy tanker fleet, changed to Truck and Trailer.
It's looks very exciting drive those huge trucks
Being Italian I like see other realities about features trucks in New Zealand!
i never seen those kind of trucks in anywhere , unique and amazing NZ
The one I just saw was a cab-over KW
Nice videos man! Thanks for going all around out and about.
Soft tropic climate doesn't ruining that beauty on wheels 👍 As I can see these 8x4 rigs are traditional in NZ, and rare in EU. Specially ordered for NZ conditions.
I had 8 years traveling around the South Island. Fantastic.
Seems New Zealand has it all. European and American trucks, that too classic Kenworths. Instant like.
What a ripper of a video! Thanks for posting.
Great video friend thanks for sharing.
Great trucks great drivers great video
You can see why they swing wide on that bend. Hugging the left fog line is a real momentum killer,
5:28 The (not-so) old Sino strugglin' a bit. You really lucked on to it there. Awesome spotting spot with vintage/classic cars as well. And how about the self-steer set-up on those Big Chill rear trailer wheeld.
Ah Sino I couldn't work out what that truck was 👍
@@newzealandtrucks Hino?
Its a sinotruck a chinese made trucks. Here in philippines their so many of them
@@Rigshaft2497 I saw a really large fleet of them working as tipper with trailer last weekend, so know they're out there.
@@Rigshaft2497 Not in America.
Mostly cabovers. Unusual axles layouts, both trucks and trailers. Compared to Europe or USA. A lot of american oldtimers (not trucks). Thanks for posting. Greetings from CZ, Europe.
Caminhões ,com muita potência ,e são muito bonitos quem não quer dirigir um desses ,um abraço aqui do Rio de janeiro 👍🇧🇷
Awesome guys, nice trucks 🚚, I am a truck driver 😀 too, I didn't know New Zealand have such big trucks 😀 😄 👍
Look the same but longer
All trucks look like so new how it possible.

@@newzealandtrucks Well hello there! How are you doing down there in New Zealand? I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas!
@@CEO100able Belated merry Christmas and happy new year to you from New Zealand!
@@schlookie Hello there! Thank you very much, and I'd also like to wish you and your family a belated Christmas and a Happy New Year down there! I had an excellent Christmas in late 2021 and a fantastic New Year's weekend.
Amazing video my friend keep them coming New Zealand's is an amazing country
На подъём эти тяжёлые грузовики едут быстро. Их двигатели имеют большую мощность и крутящий момент. Очень красивые грузовики 🚛!
Great video the truck s are awesome sound good to .
Your lucky to be able to film these trucks in the location your at...I drive a truck for a living and I'm bored driving round the UK, I've done Europe as well, (30 years) the only place I can think of that is near your video, is Sweden... Maybe I need a change of scenery....
Maybe come drive in NZ for a bit ;)
Met a Pommie driver hauling logs out of Kaingaroa Forest. He said, Kiwi versions of European and Yank rigs, beat the pants off what's available back in their country of origin.
Believe it or not, we actually have 'Road Trains' in NZ, that are restricted to private forestry roads in the Central North Island.
@New Zealand Trucks do you have to retest I'm in Texas
These wagons and moving fast up and down them hills. Some magic looking equipment.
Two duel drive-axles are the norm in NZ on Prime-movers pulling semi trailers. But across Europe, it's single duel drive-axle. Whenever you see a second set of wheels on a prime-mover in Europe, it's usually a pair of singles. Odd looking combination. Same as 'lazy-axle' on twin-axle buses.
Yeah mate we love axles and tyres 😂
Nice truck,love from Malaysia
Nice New Zealand truck
What nice spot mate to tape the beast
Those Truckers have a lot skills

great, thanks for the video, greeting from Moldova
Hi there friend =)
This is good driving keep it up
Been driving outside of NZed for over 10yrs. The trucks have changed so much. Interesting that 2nd tri set. Only 1st axel is covered by the 2nd trailer. In Oz, all three axels slide under 2nd trailer for the coupling.
Yeah mate, the new 'Super-B' configuration on NZ roads, are the equivalent of Ozzy B-Doubles. Looks like they've over taken the traditional B-trains. The last time I saw Ozzy B-Doubles in NZ, was at Pukekohe Race track about 12 years ago, when the Ozzy V-8 crews brought their gear over for the big race.
Yup, Australian B-trains are larger than New Zealand ones. NZ has stricter length restrictions. That's probably why the first set of axels are half-and-half between the two trailers. (To evenly distribute the sets of axels across the whole unit)
Nice videos man!
Wow! This machinery is next level.
Nice to see trucks from the other side of the Globe, but you should try to switch off the autofocus and select a middle range aperture. That should give you correct focus throughout filming. Keep on rolling!
Awesome trucks Choice

Nice video of the kiwi big rigs.
Why thank you kind sir
You guys in New Zealand and Australia have some COOL LOOKING TRUCKS! If the weight limit here in the States go up then we could see more axles.
Yankee trucks are over-powered, while hauling pathetically small loads. Had some Kiwi mates driving inter-State based in Amarillo Texas. They were only hauling 37 tonne max on their semis behind a 600hp Cummins. This was 20 years ago. I don't think things have changed over there.
Allways see a Big Chill truck where ever i go
Your not wrong mate👌
@@newzealandtrucks my brother drives for them,he was in the white Merc & i'm sure it was him in the Volvo aswell 👍🏻

Always get the same reaction from North Americans (Yanks and Canadians). Only difference is, we drive on the 'Correct' side of the road.
Amazing from Indonesian 👍👍
Nice videos man
thank you jaida!
Love to see double decker trailers like in the UK 🇬🇧 in nz
Most of the curtain sider trailers you see in this video will be double deckers. They have a mezzanine floor, so they can carry 2 layers of more compact freight items. The mezzanine floors are removable by forklift, if taller items need to be carried. I used to work as a welder for a heavy transport trailer building firm here in NZ, and they started me out building the 'mezz' floors.
ME GUSTO MUCHO EL VIDEO NEW ZEALAND TUCKS

Чудове відео! Досить цікава компоновка в більшості вантажівок - 8×4, при тому що пора коліс одразу за кабіною. Таке зустрічається ще десь крім НЗ?
waahh...Fuso..!!
First thing i noticed is your axle configuration is way different than we havr here in canada. Pulling the same loads by the look of it. And you have hills too. But alot of cab overs???
Cabovers have more advantages in nz such as maximize load space, tighter Turning circles more visibility etc
When I visited Argentina years ago, I watched a long-nosed American Ford delivery truck with a short deck, trying to manouvre into a loading area in a busy Buenos Aires street. I though, if that truck were a cabover Toyota Dyna, Nissan Atlas or Isuzu Elf (with even longer decks), the manouvre would've been a piece of cake. That's why cabovers are popular in NZ.
The scenery in NZ looks somewhat like that in Japan, but I don't think the day comes that trucks this huge are allowed on the public roads in Japan.
Very similar. Also got the earthquakes.
WOW. Where is this location?
nice
Very interested for who loves trucks!
That bend, bulk of videos, is on the Hundalee hills between Christchurch and Kaikoura. It is fuckin' tight in a car let alone hauling 40 odd tonnes around it.
Hey how is everything! I'm Brazilian, I follow your publications, here in Brazil I always followed! Beauty!
Trucks 💯👍
