i am a truck driver in europe for 8 years but I watched the whole video with sparkling eyes... NZ has almost all kind of trucks and all kind of trailers :D Its a heaven
Rogeee mate
Incredible variety of models, North American and European trucks together
I hung out with a log-truck driver and loved wherever we went to plck-loģs, Kainagaroa Forest and lots of other places, magical
Ahh the whistling of turbochargers and hammering of Jacob's brakes - awesome.
Trucks seems beautiful than the lighter vehicles in this video.. Splendid color combinations.. what a scenic route to drive these beasts...
تحياتي. لي سكان. New Zealand. وحكمتها بلاد جميل ومتقدم حفض الله. شعبكم 👍👍💪💪
Does anyone remember the Pie in the Sky Cafe that used to be at the Summit.? Lovely Woodburner going in winter.Had Dutch relatives stay and we said we were just going over "the Hill" to Welly, and they nearly freaked out going over the Remutakas!
Great video. With beautiful trucks. Thank you for filming and uploading
Greetings from Switzerland, 🇨🇭 George.
That brings back memories. My first job in 1967 was working for Hygienic Laundry who were situated at Gracefield, just under the Wainui hill; I drove a Leyland 15 van delivering rental towels and sheets to hotels etc. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I would work my way up to Masterton, leaving about 0800 and not getting back until late afternoon. Some of the weather conditions I struck going over that range were absolutely atrocious and as I always drove like a dickhead (as most young blokes do) I still wonder how I made it through those times without coming to grief. 🙂
haha top man! as honest as they come, i see a few cowboys out on the range, i just tip my hat ;)
hello how are you doing
@@smi2sali1 great! thank you =) its new years eve 22! , how are you doing?
Young blokes stiil drive like that, Haha!
Chur bro brings back a lot of memories driving the ranges needed all my skills when windy lol
As a newbie trucker I could watch these videos all day 😊
The only place where you see American, Japanese and European trucks on the same road! In Belgium it's ONLY European trucks!
Greetings from Belgium!
Agree, nearly all of the worlds truck manufacturers seem to be represented in NZ. I love the curtain sided, twin-steer, cab-over Kenworth rigs, a style of truck you would struggle to find in North America. That was fascinating. 👍
Australia has the same mix ofvehicles. Axle configuration in Australia is also very similar however probably more route dependent. i.e. no 3 or 4 trailer trucks near major cities.😁👍🇦🇺
@@ianleslie2326 but who the hell would wanna go to australia ... hot weather, spiders, snakes... bruh :D NZ has no hot climate, no spiders no snakes and its not a desert :D
@@ianleslie2326 Yep. Both Australia and NZ would be the only countries where you'd find a huge variety of these, and just about anything :)
You know it’s a good video when you start off with a frightliner argosy
Love watching trucks from this country

@@user-mk1yp7nd8x I have no clue on what you are saying sorry 😞
i love the sound of straight piped trucks! great video, thanks.
I love the way the truck drivers pull in to allow others to pass. In the UK they won't they will just carry on moving lol
Quite a few do in NZ The beep beep of the horn means thank-you ,by the way.
99% of kiwi drivers go to Australia to learn how to drive truck's there's a trucking company in a village called Katherine in state of the northern territory who drivers are 99% kiwi's this company is called Rotarura Transport Association run by kiwi's there anti Australian now there employing Indian's. Pakistani drivers to drive there 3 trailer 165 foot plus RoadTrains.
Rotorua, Transport Association totally ruled by kiwi's. Comon kiwi comon yabba dabba doo
Same over here in Holland m8 trust me lol
Typical car drivers comment that is do you let us out of junctions and cut in front of us not to mention hogging lanes on motorways
All manufacturers are represented in New Zeeland. Daf, Scania, Fuso, Renault, Volvo, Frightliner, Kenworth, how many dealers must there be.😅
Beutiful road ..... seeing these big trucks giving way to small cars is so superb , they (drivers) very thoughtful of others.
That's a kiwi driver gentleman n gentledames of the road
New Zealand imports a lot of old trucks and buses from Australia and Japan. This is why you see a lot of old cabs and styles. Also because we take cabovers and refit them with new engines. Some of the trailers are old but the tractor unit are new. Sometimes they continue to use older trailers because of the loading limits that only restrict newer trailers etc. We also love American and Japanese trucks for their simplicity and comfort. So we never gave up using them, enough demand also allows for cabover kenworths and Peterbilts to have continued manufacturing and assembly in NZ and Aus.
Where did you get your crap info from, you got to be from lalaland’ bloody idiot
Love the footage! 😎👍🏻
hello how are you doing
Am a truck driver from kenya,I like your 🚚
What I believe makes these videos so interesting and exciting, are the twist and turns. Of interest to is the accuracy negotiating within the road markings, well almost. The scenery dominated by our green native fauna is lovely. Thanks a lot.
I love that there are diverse amount of truck brand and style (euro, asian and north american) in NZ compared to North America
Cheers mate. Needed that.
Miss being in the saddle. Merry xmas
Had to look twice at 7:55 ,where i spotted Alucar's cab cover, greetings from Finland !
Wonderful trucks with beautiful road ...So nice to see 👍

Hello am from Poland.Your New Zealand trucks are cool there are no such trucks im Poland 😁
Saudade vive 20 anos na estrada este trecho e muito parecido por onde andei por um bom tempo.
Best both of worlds. Asian and western trucks and cars
I have laid a spanner on more than one of those trucks in my time and still do!
sounds unnecessarily sexual
Love how the EU and American trucks are plying on the same road
And Asian trucks too😅😅
10:44 - Polska firma - nieźle. Fajny kanał, pozdrawiam z Polski.
Top notch!! 👍👌
Just impressive, Great thank you
These trucks in zealand are amazing some of them look like australian ones
Most are Australian designed specked trucks assembled in NZ for NZ conditions.
Usually more axles for the same weight.
Beautiful trucks and a beautiful mountain area. Greetings from Pakistan
Comeon over don't forget to bring ya curry pot too. Opps that's Australia big company's only employ Indian's and Pakistani, steering wheel attendees n ya don't have to know how to drive a Billy big rig leàrn as you go dude.
"CO24U". Clever license plate on that carbon dioxide tank trailer behind the blue Scania early on.
Man I love those jakes🤙
In N.Z. if you develop a "tail", you have to pull over after a while and let them pass: or you get a ticket and fine. Note also that the trucks and trailers have lots of axles and dual tyres: they can pay less road tax if they are "road friendly"; the payoff is a much lower accident rate. Also, high power engines mean that even heavy rigs go pretty fast, sometimes scary fast!
The axel weights are a lot lower than European weights too. I can have 10.5 t on my drive axel with a 9t tag and an 9 t front steer
@@brenics77 Our axel weight limits are much more strict here in New Zealand due to our poor quality roads. The more axels our trucks run on, the better it is for our roads.
@@dallasfrost1996 I know mate , I’m a Brit but live in Invercargill and drive trucks 👍🏻
@@dallasfrost1996 100% man, NZ roads are terrible

Thanks for nice upload 🌹
I learned a lot from this video. Excellent content!
Lovely driving
01:50 this beautiful Kenworth...
If I would see this live, for real,.. I'd probaly die right there on the spot!
But being from Europe (NL), my life has been spared countless times. We don't get to see these things so often. I mean NEVER..
That Kenworth was perfection! Love the look of long nose American/Australian trucks. That gold paint finished it off nicely!
Om eerlijk te zijn, zie je niet veel slapers in NZ, omdat we veel truckstops hebben en kortere afstanden moeten afleggen.
To be fair, you don't see many sleepers in NZ, as we have lots of truck stops and shorter distances to travel.
Yes I know what you mean. I'm a NZ'er and have seen this many times, and every time it looks soooo goood. Love the B-Train set up
11:50Now that's an interesting one, bonneted Iveco
Lindas máquinas. Nossa 😇😍😍

бро шикарные сьёммки
Very cool, awesome!!!!💯💯👍👍
Clean government, clean roads, no potholes, no overloaded trucks
Their infrastructure is good but their government is not exactly trustworthy.
Unfortunately bro, as a NZ'er, the roads and potholes here are absolutely shocking. Some roads are alright but a lot are absolute crap
Video keren yang sangat memanjakan mata.
Amazing truck ss😍
New subscribed from Somalia 🇸🇴
This is just so amazing to watch and the truck drivers who pull over are very good
Also car drives thanks by tooting😊
Very Nice 👍

Great video! I would be scared to death to drive on that road!!
You should see some of NZ's narrow roads... This is wide

fantastic video as always bro
I LOVE TRUCKING
Brazil e um gigante
Very nice
Lindos camiões, dá gosto ver.
Is that some kinda passing line on 03:06 interesting? So the slower trucks give the faster vehicles space to pass I guess. In my country they pass each other on a two way highroad whit 80 and 81 speed... you can gues how fast that goes and the traffic behind it.
Ya busted old mate chucking rubbish out the window 🤣
You earn the title KING OFF THE ROAD when you give way to faster traffic behind you.......... Nice to see truck brands from all over the world serving in new zealand
Amazing
Sweet niec
Why do many trucks have the same type of taillights? Is it a rule or a fashion? Hallo from Russia.
We have a minimum standard which is left & right side must have tail & stop light combination also left & right turn
signals. Not like north American 2 little lights set at the end of the chassis rails as that would not be compliant in NZ.
hello how are you doing
@@smi2sali1 Hello I'm fine

Scania и volvo прямо под сердцем
They look like they’re allowed to carry more weight than American trucks. Lots of multiple axle rigs
116845lb max for the ones with a yellow H.
The USA federal limit on interstates is 80,000 lb
Thanks for the information@@martinsmallwood9605
With the right permit, these trucks have a total max weight limit of 137,000 lbs.
You can see this in British Columbia, Canada too.
Best moments truck 👍
New Zealand seems to care more about their roads with the dual steering up front.. Pretty rare to see those trucks in Australia
Too many windy roads here, make steering and weight distribution at speeds make life easier for machine and the driver too
Nice
