For years Tenerife and the Canary Islands have been a cheap value for money holiday destination with Cheap Food and Drink. You could have a cheap family holiday without breaking the bank. But The Cost of Living Crisis has hit the island with inflation and price hikes have hit the restaurants and bars making Tenerife a more costly holiday for couples and families.

Crazy how you can get a full English 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 sausage beans chips tomato 1 fried bread 1 toast for 3,50 euros and right next to it a bacon sandwich/toastie for the same price.
And the only reason you found the 1 euro pint is that the food is way more expensive there.

Absolutely agree with you 100% that a lot of businesses are profiteering from the ‘cost of living crisis’ at the moment. But they will continue to increase prices as long as people pay those prices… consumers need to be more savvy

We were there last week,there are plenty of bars doing €1 pints. Also there are lots of restaurants who have kept their prices the same , even the taxis are still a similar price as pre pandemic . Good on the local busines's for keeping their prices down .😁😁👍👍

Came back from Tenerife last week and cheapest we found in Playa de Las Américas for a pint was Tayri Lounge Sports Bar next to Oro Blanco apartments costing €1.79 a pint and was actually a decent pint

In our local in Eastwood it's about £7_ £8 for a pint of lager and a coke.Also service without a smile and it's friggin freezing here . I know where I would rather be drinking !😁😁👍👍

Hi Lee. Just got back from New York. You are an absolute star mate, you literally saved us hundreds of dollars by watching your vlog on Rudys bar and grill. 4 dollars a beer was amazing. We also went to Bleeker street pizza for a Nonna Maria slice which was outstanding. Thank you so much 😁👍

The last time I was in Tenerife there was a lot of overcharging going on..almost every day..and some of the bars selling the one-euro pint were serving up poor quality beer in named glasses that were over-chilled in frosted glasses to disguise the taste..as the beer warmed up slightly it was awful
I’m pretty ok with a €1 pint. Folk on here saying it’s too watery but that suits my taste buds as I’m not one for strong beers anyway. Weather as ever looking incredible out there Lee, wish I was there. Data Daz on form as ever. Looking forward to seeing the Blond Angel once again and of course your return flight vlog.

Hotel Villa Costa Adeje is an all inclusive next door so guess they have to try and lure in the hotel customers somehow. I'm an ale drinker, but an ice cold Dorada when on holiday tastes amazing 👍 also staying villa Adeje next August so it's a win win 👍
Good to see Data Daz again. You aught to do another live in Wetherspoons when he's back in the UK. That was real comedy. Im sure there are more 1 euro pints and cheap 3 course meals in Los Cris👍

I found that BBR place and their €1 when I was over earlier in the month, handy as I was staying at the Sunset Bay round the corner. The food looked pretty good I'll have to try it next time... You're right though, a lot of places have slapped on a swingeing 50% hike (eg Sun King and that lot) though there's still a €0.95 place in Los Cristianos, but it was rammed each time I walked past.

Hi Lee a great vlog as always. I noticed in some of the places were they charged more for their lager/beer the food was a bit cheaper. I was wondering if the €1.00 euro lager/beer is a donkey and the carrot trick to get you to buy more expensive food in that particular venue. What do you think Lee?!! Laguna Park 1 over the road from that place. Heard loads of stories of people going to reception thinking they've booked there and have in fact booked Laguna Park 2 up "Cardiac Hill"😁
This quarter last year my combined gas and electricity bill was just over £400 and that was lot - this year we were billed £848.69 - same period similar usage

Lee, when the predicted recession hits in January/February you need to go shopping for a nice small hillside Villa in Tenerife. You are there so much it would make sense to get a small villa with a pool that you can stay at for more than a few days and bring family and friends. 🌴⛱🏠🌞🍺🍻

Things have gone up a little bit in Tenerife but it will always be better then the uk.
What about bottles of say Dorada? How much do they go for in bars?
1.50 even 2 euros is still cheaper then ul and 9.95 still cheap for 3 course meal none of these back in uk
I was there last week as well. I thought it was a bit expensive. Don't forget the TAX. I think not including the tax in the price a bit of a scam.

Here in Thailand just had my electric bill for the month 8 pound but have not used the aircon yet Water 4 pound. ì live in a condo pay about 180 pound a month massive pool 10 mins walk from the beach.
