    All inclusive is such good value for money in the Canary Islands, not for everyone I know but should certainly be considered as an option. We pay around 100 Euros per night each for four star all inclusive which is alot more than we would pay out for food and drinks alone. Many hotels allow you to book direct with them. We love the Canary Islands and have made lots of videos, if you're interested in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote please take a look :) Always looking to make a connection with others as crazy about travel as we are :)

    • @grantcivyt
      @grantcivyt Před 7 lety +3

      It's absolutely legit. I took a year-long vacation that would've cost me hundreds more had it not been for Schwab. An under-appreciated aspect of this is that you don't feel pressured to withdraw large amounts of money at once to minimize the fees, so I never carried more than two or three days worth of spending money on me. That means I could never be robbed of more than about $100 typically.
      I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't have anything invested with them, which I think is their hope for offering this excellent checking account. That's why I'm very happy to give them my endorsement.
      They also have exemplary customer service.
      Seriously, open an account with them. It costs you nothing, and saves you lots: www.schwab.com/public/schwab/banking_lending/checking_account
      If you use the code REFER, you can get $100 when you deposit $1000. I have my own personal referral code (not REFER), but I don't think it actually gives me anything. If anyone reading cares to experiment with me, just message me directly and I'll send you what I have.
      I promise I don't work for them! :D

      +Gabriel Traveler Really do it, man. I think I was able to do everything online, though they do need to mail your bank card to a physical address.
      I posted some info above, but here's the link to the specific checking account:
      www.schwab.com/public/schwab/banking_lending/checking_account
      I also had to open a brokerage account simultaneously, but it also doesn't cost anything and has no minimum requirements or fees.
      Save your hard-earned dollars, so we can enjoy watching you spend them on better things!

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  Před 7 lety +3

      I totally need that, especially for India because they have a currency crisis ongoing and you can only withdraw small amounts. Wish I could get the card mailed to me while traveling, but that would be problematic.

    • @eatmypanart
      @eatmypanart Před 4 lety +1

      Canary is very cheap compared with other places in Spain because we are poor compared also eith Spain haha
      The salaries are way lower, there is more difficulty to find a job, all of that makes the prices in Canary cheaper! It's a great deal for anyone who comes from outside, but if you are already from Canary, you will find it very difficult to afford to go even to the mainland

    I found the flights from island to island to be cheaper than the ferry. Flights from Tenerife to GC about 30 Euro. Ferry was about 35-40 but you save much more time than the ferry. It's funny we have a very similar trip right now. In Tenerife for a few more days, then GC, then Morocco later. Enjoy the islands and enjoying your guides for all these places.

    would be cool if you'd go over to la gomera or las palmas island, giving an overview of the hippies living in caves and the scenery in general...besides those islands should be the most interesting of the canaries...
    oh and besides: why as a budget traveller would u book dorms for 18-25€ if on air bnb you'll be getting private rooms for 10-15€ ? having even a kitchen to use in ordr to cook up some cheaper meals ?

    Thanks Gabriel. We really enjoy your videos. It would be our pleasure to share with you a song that symbolizes the Canary Islands. Naturally it is in Spanish but fortunately it has English subtitles (At least most of it). czcams.com/video/BGYhAz9syr4/video.html Christopher Columbus stopped at this archipelago in all of his four voyages not only to resupply his ships, but the true purpose of coming here was looking for the "Vientos Alisios", that were later called "Trade Winds" in English because they were used for commerce. He knew that at this latitude the winds flow in an east-west direction. All the islanders are familiar with these winds that took Columbus to discover the New World.

      I've just used it once actually, but I found a good hotel in Athens for cheap, so it worked out. I forget to check it because mostly I use hostelworld and booking.

      You can find the canary islands with that weather at almost any time of the year (except if there is a storm) :))
      Sun is most of the time out (depending on the island too, and the city, even if we are small islands, there are "cursed cities" where clouds loves to stay. Do you know la laguna, Tenerife? There happened the 1st worst aeroplane crash in the world, interesting story, I think there is a documental on youtube)
      Anyway, you can come any time of the year actually
