- Shows the most recently completed waterfall. I discuss some of the changes implemented in this version as well as some targets for improvements in the next attempt. This waterfall is scaled to be used with any 28-32 mm games such as Warhammer, Warmachine, D&D, and Lord of the Rings.

I'm so thankful your posts are still available to watch and learn from. I hope you are doing well. These are great teaching vids. Thanks for all the hard work!
You know. I think the fact that you smile during your videos makes them much more watchable.
Your attitude is perfectly fine, listening to your reflections on how to improve your work while looking at yet another adorable piece of terrain is most inspiring! Just keep up your amazing work!
I know this is an older video but I think the work you do is really awesome. I'm starting out on making some dioramas for my gundam model kits and I got so much inspiration from your videos. I'm a big fan.
Thank you. I really appreciate that.
Luv the passion behind your work. Like that you're always pushing your work to perfection. I might be buying from you soon.
I don't know what's more impressive, that waterfall or that pony tail. Kick ass stuff man.
i like very much how criticly you see your own creations - always on the search to getting better impresses me a lot ! cant wait more for videos , gj
great job, the mist effects in the waterfall are great, very nice work, thx ;)
Best waterfall I've seen so far. A reminder though, at the bottom of the actual fall, the water grinds out the bottom right under it, often in the result in a small pond. You have painted the sides light like a normal river, and it doesnt look natural. Fantastic work though
A good point. I did this quite a while ago, and I would take some different approaches to it now. The bottom of the falls would definitely be a target. :)
Please, show us how you carve foam to obtain this awesome effect to do cliffs and mountains. A request from an italian fan :)
What an amazing waterfall! This type of terrain piece can be so difficult but you accomplish it with truly impressive results! 8-)
Thank you for the technical analysis at the beginning!
brilliant! I've just started collecting warhammer but i had no idea that people make awesome stuff like this >.
Making terrain can be a wonderful addition to the hobby. :)
Yeah i cant wait to try it out ^.^
i just bought a few hobbit sets so far :)
OMG.. this is the best one I've seen so far.
Fantastic work. True craftsman.
Thank you. :)
I think 4 fantasy scenery on youtube you are the man your water work is very nice bro.
Some great work on all your terrain.
Absolutely gorgeous work!
This looks so realistic.!
Ok first this is one some of the best work I have seen on CZcams, second may I make a suggestion
very impressive, one small addition may help, small matching rocks jutting mid-fall would break up the solid grey expanse of water, at the moment you have a large block of grey rock, blue water and grey fall, the three parts could be more mixed together rather than stark differences between the three
Thank you for those thoughts. I actually tried to incorporate those ideas in a subsequent waterfall. It really added a lot to the look. Somewhere in the back catalog of videos you should be able to find it. :)
shape of rock is great as is it's drybrushing, and love the colour of the still water, what do you favour with the different resins available?
Hengest Goldfist
I'm using a variety of materials, but for the base I use envirotex lite/Klear Kote. For texture I like Golden Heavy Gloss Gel.
you are amazing!! definitely helping to inspire us all with your magnificent talent and creativity!!
Thank you. I really appreciate that.
Looks amazing. I was thinking that you might consider pulling the cotton down instead of up for the falling mist. As you say the water breaks up as it falls. The current version looks a little like the mist is coalescing as it falls. Amazing work though.
Interesting. I can see what you mean. Hmm.. I'll give that some thought. I'll have to go back and look at some pics/videos of waterfalls. Thanks. :)
Awesome effect, thanks for sharing
Ian Westbury Thanks. :)
I actualy did see what you were talking about with how the water kinda falls toward the middle.
This is and looks awesome. Inspiring.
Thanks. :)
Absolutely amazing work. Very inspirational.
How i would kill to have something like this for my battles.
Awesome work as always
Looks AWESOME. I want one. No where to store it though.
i love your videos. i wish i could afford some of your pieces. they look absolutely amazing.
also, i was listening to the newest Garagehammer podcast last night and they played a voice mail they got. it sounded alot like your voice. it was about how to improve painting on models without stripping them and redoing the whole thing. just go over areas you are unsatisfied with or add a wash or some drybrush. great advice.
Your work is beautiful, thank you for the videos!
Thank you. I really appreciate that.
Most river have flat stones with water running over the stones at the top of water falls and in regular rivers to, look at Montana Madison river rapids
thanks bud glad you think so :)
I know this is older video. I paint so I'm looking at paint layering but you may want to mess around with resin to create that sheeting effect
Amazing waterfall .ah I see you make a master then cast in resin , very cool 😎
For misty wisps you might try airbrushing crackle medium. I haven't tried this but I remember seeing this once before on youtube.
***** no, airbrush the crakle media directly. It is suppose to come out like fine silly string. Experiment.
GetSmart008 Whoah. Really?? I would love to see an example of that effect. Sounds like it could be awesome if it works.
Awesome work!
Looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
Loving your work as always ;0)
masn it looks so real and so real!!!!
your work is truly amazing!
it looks so very realistic and when photographed, I can see it being mistaken for the real thing!
just curious, I've never seen this type of rock done before.
the actual shape of these aren't covered in any tutorials I've looked for.
could you share how you did these particular rocks?
it looks like you may have used strategic placement of acetone on a liner paint brush. 😄
Oh dear... I've gotten this question a few times and I've never shot a video of the technique. I did however describe the process in a Q&A - see my playlists. Each video has time stamps for all the questions and you should be able to find it sort-of-quickly. :)
Many thanks for answering.
It was this particular rock style I was inquiring about.
I saw the other Q&A's, and the various styles and tools...
But it's this style that really caught me eye 😊
Great work!
I like the video so far, but I had to pause and ask about your shelves in the background. Can you tell me what the black support brackets for your 2 x 4 shelves are called and where I might be able to purchase them?
please show us your carving technique for the hill. do you use a screwdriver or hot knife?
thank you--appreciate your work
Amazing! Thanks
Vary nice work!
you criticise yourself too harshly sometimes! its absolutely fine and if i had the money i would definately hire you to do some terrain pieces for me too !
well done :)
Thank you !..
your river endcap is incorrect, the 'V's' always point upstream...
+Gene Pumphrey Nice point. They are modular so you could just turn it around. :)
I wish I had this
MARAVILHOSO! 👏👏👏👏
Wow!
Do you recommend any spray glues that won't melt styrofoam? I am working on a train layout and I used a foam base, but I don't want to go over it with a glue stick or elmers glue.
Can you just please show us how you made it please?!?!!!?!!?!
Just wondering how much this project cost for a customer to buy. I know itll be top dollar but can you give me a price range?
it would be more interesting if you put how to do it
on the other hand your job is fantastic
Right now I just don't have time for 'how - to's' . Hard enough getting up the content I already produce. ;)
Thats awesome!!! Now subbed 😉
Welcome aboard the crazy terrain train!
can u send me a video of the process ,how u started and ended the work of ur work
THANK YOU @architectural student
i had to pick my jaw up off the flaw after watching this video
I have to ask, What do you use to seal the foam board to stop bubbles from forming?
You made that scape from a 3d printer right
Thank you for that. :) No, it is all hand carved and sculpted.
How much do your custom dioramas cost
but u have to show how u make.... any way its amazing ..
What you use for making fall??
I used many, many layers of acrylic gel.
How do you get i'm new here
I'm not sure what you mean. To purchase? If so, you should check out the TerranScapes.com site for information on pricing and store opening dates. :)
