Just keep being you, gamer! Your style of content and jokes are why I subbed in the first place. If there is a change then so be it. I enjoy your âas intendedâ approach to your videos and itâs really enjoyable. Letâs see what the future brings to your channel:)
Damn, Iâm glad you dug the Wii video! Iâve had that iMac video cooking for a while, but itâs been on the back burner for months and months. Need to get around to finishing it for ya
Idk who you are, just saw halo 3 and clicked on it lol. Watching someone passionately doing what they want to is always more compelling and enjoyable to watch than chasing trends. Youre on the right track for sure.
Trends change, many youtuber follow them, and those that try to iterate on success typically get stuck doing the same thing over and over; I know it doesn't work because the viewer gets bored of it! I like dark souls related content, but I'm not the kind of person to watch the same guy grinding out a pb on a niche speedrun or challenge category. I think your approach is better - just doing the things you enjoy, it's a much more organic way to build your channel, and those that stick around, will do so because they enjoy the way you do it: I watched a little bit of YuGiOh as a kid, but had never come across duels of the Roses - I wasn't nostalgic for it, but you made it interesting! That said, I am nostalgic for Halo, so I'm looking forward to the Halo stuff.
I view it in a very similar way! Thereâs a handful of channels that I watch for one game, but the bulk of channels I would avidly say Iâm a fan of are the ones that I just like the person, regardless of what they video is. I donât want to be limited to only DS or guide stuff, and Iâd rather get that out in the open now than garner a massive following, only to pull the rug out later down the line
I don't think you're milking anything. Your videos are awesome and please don't stop what your doing please. I'll watch whatever you make change is good it seems hard or unsure at first but it is good. I wish you good luck my friend. Peace man.
Aye, thank you brother man, I appreciate that! No plans of stopping, but definitely want to expand and not limit myself to one style of video. Hope ya enjoy whatâs coming
I really like your content. Thereâs not much these days that can make me laugh or giggle or smile, but my girlfriend told me I had a smile on my face the whole time I binged your videos, which I think is pretty cool. Thanks for doing what you do and being you and I hope you keep going where youâre going
Aye, thank you homie. I agree, I feel like I see a lot of stuff popping off thatâs just the most long winded, knock off versions of more successful people (like Ludwig and SmallAnt specifically in the challenge run-sphere) and I donât want to just rip someone beat for beat.
Keep doing your thing man, I like your style and it's inspired me to try something similar once I get all the equipment. I think we're about the same age and grew up with all the same games, I agree with your takes a lot. It's clear you put a lot of effort into it and I find it very entertaining. The old games more often than not are still better than modern releases anyway.
Idk if you ever planned on doing a how to NOT play sekiro but i might still have some footage on my broken ps4 of what i went through I essentially had to beat the game without relying on deflection because my trigger was starting to go bad and it was inconsistent if i had to use it frequently So I basically had to invent my own style where i used as much speed and jumping as possible to avoid getting hit so much, i would also use those jumps to cut the load time out for my floating passage which was buffed with fire from flame vent and i got all the way to ishhin before I got stuck and started over this time i went the dragon return route i figured more bosses would help with ishhin and i got to father owl and i spent like 8 days carefully disecting his attacks and movement patterns and i came up with a way to beat him in a straight dark souls style PVP fire fight it was honestly the hardest and best boss experience ive ever had I fr felt like goku trying to beat frieza and suddenly everything just clicked
Oh gotcha! At first I thought you were talking about the Eliteâs thighs when I jump, and I was thinking âthatâs a weird thing to say with no time referenceâ. Thanks!
I watch you because you remind me of a very dear friend I lost. You don't particularly look or sound like him, but you have *his vibe.* Watching your stuff makes me feel a connection to someone I had to say farewell to way too early. Thank you for being the way you are.
Aye, I do what I can little homie! I hope that the dumb shit I spew out of my mouth brings you some joy every once in a while. Sorry to hear about your friend
hey aqua this is your superior friend here, you know me the guy who still holds the world record for the estus soup run đ and i just wanted to say i find myself constantly in the same boat as you. i want to completely switch up from gaming videos to something much different but my problem lies in the fact that i made a second channel dedicated to doing so but that also means starting back over at ground zero. now im conflicted because i could upload this content on my main channel instead but that means losing subs who dont want to watch this kind of stuff and it has the potiental to split my subs in half (people who want to watch this new content and people who only want to watch gaming videos) so what do you think i should do? should i upload this video to the new channel and start over or should i upload it to my main channel and diversify my content? much love also ill still be here watching whatever you post good luck brotha
Lmaooo I actually just tried rerunning the soup run a couple weeks ago and it kicked my ass. Personally, I donât love the idea of creating a second channel for other content because to me, everything I make is just under the âAqua Slothâ umbrella. So whether itâs the old Wii video or the Dark Souls guide video, itâs still mine. That being said, I do see the use of a second channel for something completely different, like if youâre going to still do gaming stuff on the main and something completely different like cooking or car stuff on the second. In that case, I think itâs fine. If itâs just extra footage or still gaming related stuff, definitely stick it on the main. Iâd say if youâre still going to do any gaming stuff at all, Iâd keep that on the main, but you could try making a second one if itâs something completely different than your normal stuff
@@AquaSlothya the new content is basically video essays not related to gaming at all so thanks for your input brotha also just a heads up if you end up beating my record i might have to give it another go cus ive held this record for so long i cant let go of it now lmao
Tardy to the party again, but I had to say SCREW the haters! I love your content and there's nothing wrong with making videos that work, or trying something completely new. CZcamsrs that innovate with a mix of both on a consistent basis have a lot of growth. People use that term "milking" so loosely and it makes no sense. The series has a lot to offer. And if you don't like yugioh content just f off. đ€
Yeah, itâs certainly a blurry line between milking and continuing, but I feel like milking falls more in line with clickbait shit. Idk, I think people on the internet donât understand how shit works sometimes
I mean im here for your personality and butter smooth sexy voice. . The souls guide series isnt really sustainable. i dont personally watch a lot of video game content. but ill probably tune in to say hi on your halo video and hear your thoughts regardless.
Thatâs what I thought too! The guide videos are very limited to not only games that have guides and are fun to follow, but also one that I know enough about to be able to make jokes on. Iâm not gonna go pick up a fuckin Super Monkey Ball 2 guide, because Iâve never played the game and the video would suck. We can love and appreciate the guide vids while we can, but they do have an expiration date
When the Bloodborne guide comes in, I gotchu on the PS4
Truly as real a gamer as they come, thank you!

Very rarely comment on anything - but appreciate your channel and LOVE your Wii video. Keep it up being you. That's what makes a channel great

I love this channel because it doesnât try to chase monetization trends. Refreshing in an ocean of shitty capitalism.
