Blind Let's plays are my favorite format. Depending on the game I guess and how much I am interested in the lore vs just gameplay determines how much editing and commentary I prefer. I'm like the GoldieLocs of CZcams consumption.

CZcams has been through lots of phases. First was the CZcams poops of Zelda and Mario and pingas. Then there were the let’s plays led by Darksyde Phil and his shitty camera even though capture cards were like $50. During Covid I saw a lot of 11 hour video essays on why they hate a certain game and I’m like dude if you’re dedicating 6 months to a game then it must not be THAT bad. Now it’s livestreams. The game doesn’t matter, the personality does.
Agreed! I don’t think any format really “dies”, the just kind of evolve into different styles. I’ve been really enjoying making the cut down stream videos and this is basically just that but without the stream. Definitely want to do some more of these. Also thank you for the input!

Dooooog Aqua Dragon was so good in the base game. If you’ve got a PC that can run the PS2 emulator, you should check out some mods for it! The Redux Mod and Chaos Mod and both awesome

One thing about archthrones that bothered me was the feeling that I needed to farm souls instead of naturally progressing through the levels, often the monsters wouldn't give enough souls or the bosses even. A little disappointing sometimes
HARD agree. I feel like I am forced to play and grind offline because what I am assuming is the second area you're supposed to go to (Cathedral?) is still way too fuckin hard, even after beating the entire first area. I be doing no deeps to anyone
