- A new silver SSC Tuatara Striker with red accents, one of 100 units being built, arriving at and leaving Ancillary Studios at South Coast Plaza during its Pre-Monterey Gathering (a.k.a. "Prebble"), hosted in partnership with Zuma Cars & Coffee. Introduced in May 2021, the Striker is a high-downforce version of the Tuatara featuring aerodynamic enhancements including a larger front splitter, new rear diffuser, and fixed rear wing. It is powered by the same 5.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the base Tuatara producing 1,750 horsepower.

What I find incredible is that they were nowhere to be seen at the car week. Every super / hyper / megacar in the world, but no Tuataras. Made me think the company had died. And its incredible how little press or talk it gets even from American car CZcamsrs.
Glad to see this hypercar finally reaching production stage.

Goodness, that's such a gorgeous machine. Aside from the digital panel on the centre console, every single part of it looks as if it was designed for one specific purpose. Even the door design doesn't shy away from the hinge components' noise by dampening it; leaving it to feel like you're entering a specifically crafted machine at the edge of automotive engineering where practicalities are foreign.
There's is no other car in this fucking world which is as sick as a SSC tuatara Striker

No matter what anybody says but for me it is the best looking car❤ I have ever witnessed.

And also know this was designed over a decade ago. I remember when I saw pictures of it, this was easily best looking cars in the world.

Did anybody notice at the end when the SSC is pulling out Shmee's million dollar plus purple full cabin fiber Zenvo is in the background and the crowd does not even notice it, that's testimony to the presence of the SSC Tuatara Striker.

Ye I'd choose Tuatara Striker over any of the competition , European or otherwise.....Only one big question ? is it a proper production car or show & display......It matters!......Still , this car is Badass and sound's like European exotica. Good job SSC.
I believe it's street legal - Show and Display only applies to imported cars.

As far as I know (per Henessey's website and various review articles), the Venom F5 is street-legal.

'Lacking airbags, the F5 won't have full federal homologation. John Hennessey said the car will be sold under the "show and display" exemption.'
Edit: Don't expect someone like Hennessey to write about not achieving full federal homologation with the Venom F5 on their website! A car without airbags, nowadays can't be considered street legal!
