As if the ‘stanadrad’ top speed version did not look Da Bomb, this Striker variant is totally off the hook! That colour scheme with exposed carbon and red pinstripe piping is LUSH eye-candy. Keep up the great work guys, and wishing Team SSC every success and accolade for their well-deserved accomplishments! Awesome specimen of a hypercar. Absolutely awesome!

This is what I've been waiting for , some fresh Tuatara contet showing other example's aside from the black one. Was starting to think nothing's going on with SSC....As for this Tuatara striker ! well considering this car was designed in 2010 , the looks will forever be spaceship. This design is actually timeless , but where's the full review with the body panels shut ?......Yep this car is s Badass!!!!
I was excited to see this new Striker debut and finally have a chance to meet Jerod Shelby and the SSC team! Michael wasn’t on hand to take delivery, so they didn’t want to rev or drive the car anymore than necessary, which I understand. I took some shorter videos as they were closing the body panels and with them closed, but wasn’t sure if anyone wanted to see them. I’ll be able to get more content in August 😎

Last two questions: Will there be more TUATARA deliveries this year? Will we see the Aggressor? Jerod said there will be other vehicles unveiled later this year, I think it could be the hybrid TUATARA as mentioned before as well as the Tuatara's little brother😍

"Street legal" On kit-car plates. No legal VIN / Chassis number, no registered trademark, brand or model name. No crash testing, no emissions certification, no health & safety of any kind. No homologation, or as they call it over there "Federalisation" Not even airbags... These cars are as "street legal" as a kit-car you build in your own garage. Its not just world speed records these people lie about. And do they produce the car themselves? In America? No. I asked them about this a long time ago, and they said the car was indeed the real deal because it spent 4 years in Italy being developed at a very professional Italian racecar developer. So I said: Right... So its not american at all then. I looked it up and it checks out. Its the same Italian company that develop the cars for Jim Glickenhaus.
As far as I know... Jerod Shelby does not own or operate a production line or a car factory. I traced down his company address once and came to a rented warehouse in a desert-area next to a Mormon church. I thought it was wrong, but the locals did indeed assure me that it was the right place. This is a joke, dude.
The CAR is professionally built by experts. But its about as "American" as socialised healthcare. There isnt a single workshop in the entire US that are qualified to build a full carbon monocoque, or anything close to this level. Definitely not these guys. They do not have a design department, a team of engineers, or any staff capable of doing this. The Hennessey F5 is the same thing. Except that one is built in England. This is a grift, dude. They thought they would sell tons of these cars once they had faked a wooorld record for it. Just like they did back in 2007. Its not their first try.
And according to themselves, they have zero plans of making these cars road legal. In any country.
If you ask them if their cars are road legal, they will answer "Yes they are 50 state legal" Which means NO, but you can apply for kit-car plates in all 50 states. Its a grift, dude.

I can’t wait to see it break the 300 mph barrier. They just need more runway to slow down, but it’s geared for it.

When are they gonna do their next WR attempt at breaking 300 mph..?
That’s what I asked off camera. They will re-attempt when they can get a long enough straightaway with an appropriately long and safe braking zone. Plus, a driver with big enough balls to hit 300+ and stop in a short distance. I did what any other red blooded car enthusiast would do and volunteered 🤠🏎️

It’s an incredible feat of engineering. Nearly a decade of development went into this ground breaking hypercar. I can’t wait to see it break lap time records and the high speed Tuatara break the 300 MPH world speed record 😎🏎️

Is its roof made of glass? It looks like resin.
The tops of the windows are tinted glass and I believe the entire body is carbon fiber including the roof.
That’s a sweet color on the greatest modern supercar
The color and contrasting accents show off the lines on the Tuatara. The SSC representatives preferred customers to have the carbon fiber bodies painted to show off the design more than leaving the carbon fiber exposed.
This color matching doesn't look very harmonious, but it's still amazing. Do you know any other Tuatara that will make a public appearance?

I would say it’s the best value for a bespoke low production hypercar in the world. I love that they are built in the U.S.A. and have already set the production car world speed record 😎🏎️
